Chapter Four
Becca went into work and headed straight for Gina, and pulled her into the back of where the employees go. She dragged her best friend confusing Gina greatly then.
"What gives?" Gina asked. "Do I get any juicy details?" Gina asked.
"Gina, this is serious," Becca said.
"Okay, what's wrong, does he suck in bed?" Gina asked, still not being serious.
Becca sighed and looked pissed.
"You're serious that something is wrong, aren't you?" Gina asked.
"Yes, I remembered who I saw at the place Savoy is working that they have captured and tortured," Becca said.
"What? Who?" Gina asked.
"Optimus Prime, he is the leader of the Autobots, the ones who protected Chicago from and all from the Decepticons," Becca said.
Gina's face went pale then.
"Oh, my God," Gina whispered.
"And, the worst part is I have to play stupid and not know but Gina, I can't let him suffer like this. I have to get him out of there, please help me," Becca asked.
"Alright, but why don't you ask your dad for information about them, maybe he can help?" Gina asked.
Becca bit her lip. She hated getting dad involved but he was powerful and so were his friends.
"Yeah, I think I will," Becca said.
-Ooooo-
Lunchtime…..
Savoy had gone back to the bar for lunchtime along with Blake and Tony, and both men noticed how Becca at first ignored Savoy.
"Someone is in the doghouse," Blake joked as Savoy narrowed his eyes at him.
"Piss off," Savoy growled as his eyes landed back on Becca who was finally coming.
"Sorry, we are packed today," Becca said, which wasn't a lie, they were packed with people.
"Can we talk later?" Savoy asked.
"Sure, what can I get you, guys?" she said as Savoy looked slightly hurt that she wasn't as playful with him now.
He couldn't figure out what he had done to make her act so different, but he wasn't about to lose her no way in hell.
-Ooooo-
Becca and Gina both hung up their aprons and collected their tips. Savoy was still there, waiting for Becca to get off. He was concerned about how she was acting towards him. She was never like this.
"Doll," Savoy said. "Let's go home."
"Okay," said Becca.
The two left, Becca, giving her friend a smile and a nod. Savoy drove in silence back to her apartment, giving her a look every now and then. Becca remained silent, staring out the passenger window.
"Doll, will you please tell me what's wrong?" Savoy asked.
"Nothing's wrong," said Becca.
"Don't lie to me. I know you are. You haven't been the same since meeting my boss and his co-asset," said Savoy. "Even while we were together earlier, you weren't acting so quiet. It isn't like you."
"It was just a lot to take in seeing …. I'm fine," said Becca.
She knew she had to act normal if she wanted to get her father's help and free Optimus.
Savoy parked the car, getting out, and opening the door for her. He walked her to the door and they kissed wildly before she went inside the apartment.
Becca knew what she had to do.
She reached for her phone, pulling up her contacts. She opened her text messages, clicking on a contact.
'Hey, dad. Been a while, but I need your help.'
The reply came in pretty fast.
'Sure sweetheart. When do you wanna meet?'
'I'm off in a few days. I'll come to you.'
'Sounds good Bec. Love you, sweetheart.'
'Love you too dad.'
