Chapter 12: A Man Turned into a Shadow – Part 2:

In Germany, Shirou is walking alongside Saber as they are on the way to Einzbern Castle.

Inside the castle, they all met Jubstacheit Von Einzbern and he looks at Shirou as he reminds him about his son in law Emiya Kiritsugu.

Jubstacheit: What do you want?

Then Shirou summons a sword and he points a sword at him.

Shirou: I want a duel with you. If I win, my sister will be freed.

Einzbern Servants tried to interrupt them but Jubstacheit stops them and a white haired young girl appears as well.

Illya: Onii-chan?

Jubstacheit: I understand, Emiya Shirou. I accept your challenge.

Then the duel between Jubstacheit and Shirou started as Jubstacheit turned into a golem and Shirou summons a huge shield.

Then Jubstacheit started attacking Shirou but the latter uses the shield and he tries to counter his attack. The duel is so long and Shirou becomes exhausted.

Finally, Jubstacheit almost win the duel but Shirou uses Excalibur on him, killing him and win the duel.

Jubstacheit: Emiya Shirou, you are a successor of Einzbern Family.

Then he remembers about his late daughter.

Jubstacheit: I'm sorry, Irisviel…*His last words.*

After his death, Einzbern Servants bow down to Shirou as a new successor of Einzbern Family. But Shirou walks away with Saber and a girl stops him.

Illya: Wait Onii-chan! You are a successor now!

Shirou: I'm sorry, Illya. I just come here in order to fulfill one of my father's desires to free you. That's all.

Shirou looks at a large muscular servant.

Shirou: Take care of my sister, Berserker.

Then Shirou and Saber leaves Einzbern Castle.

Berserker: Thank you.

He waves and then they vanished.

Few days later, Shirou watches the TV as he is shocked because All Might Era is over and he also knows that All Might is Sakura's guardian.

Shirou: Sakura…

Then El-Melloi II appears.

El-Melloi II: Shirou, I wanted to talk with you.

Then Shirou follows El-Melloi II and then the latter explains about the situation to Shirou.

Then he shows the file and the list of crimes happening in the magus world and then Shirou reads it. He is shocked because of the crime rates.

Shirou: This is horrible.

El-Melloi II: It's true. Even the heroes can't help people properly due to rising crime rates.

Shirou: I understand. Leave it to me.

Then Shirou walks away alongside the file and El-Melloi II looks on.

Then he sits down and he keeps reading the files and he is worried about Sakura because of that. Then Nekoarc appears and she joins and sits with him.

Nekoarc: You're worried about her.

Shirou: Yeah. She is still my Kouhai.

Nekoarc: Leave it to me.

Then Nekoarc disappears and Shirou keeps reading the file carefully.

Inside Ground Gamma in UA High School, Rider defeats Nekoarc and Shirou and Saber witnessed that.

After Rider disappeared, Shirou looks at the trainees alongside Saber.

Saber: Shirou.

Shirou: Let's go.

Then both Shirou and Saber disappears as he feels relieved because Sakura is protected by Rider and her friends.

In Romania, Shirou alongside Saber kills some hostile magus including a priest who tried to attack them with their dark magic.

Then a kid appears and he has a dagger and he tried to kill him but he shot his head with an arrow, killing him and then he put a rosary to that kid's dead body.

Shirou: Rest in Peace.

Then Shirou walks away and Saber and Archer realized that he is no longer same person as before.

After several murders he committed, Shirou is titled as a Magus Killer while others become helpless and they all are following his footsteps.

Inside Interrogation Room, Shirou is sitting with Saber and Lord El-Melloi II as they are waiting for Sakura and her team.

Then Sakura alongside Rider and her guardian Toshinori enters to the interrogation room. Then they join with them and they had a seat and Sakura noticed a wedding ring on his hand.

Toshinori: You are married, right?

Shirou: Ah! Allow me to introduce my wife, Saber.

Toshinori: I see. Congratulations.

Sakura: Uncle, let's have a serious discussion.

Toshinori: Sure.

Then Shirou explains to Sakura and her team about his fate and he declared himself as a Magus Killer. Sakura is horrified because of his new behavior.

Sakura: Why? Why did you commit murders like that?

Shirou: To maintain peace and prevent destruction at all cost.

Sakura: That is horrible! Why did you have to take a path like that?! You were a good person until now!

Shirou: It's my decision. I take the path for myself. That's all.

Shirou: Anyways, you are a magus and you were a former participant of Holy Grail War. You were a master of your servant before you gave up the command spells to your brother. Sakura, I won't blame you and I understand about your situation but the fact is that you are still a Magus. How about you join with us and one of us instead?

Sakura: I refuse. Because I'm belongs to heroes now and I already have my own life.

Shirou: I see. Then I'm not responsible if anything happens to you.

Rider becomes furious.

Rider: You! You and your teammates hurt our companion! You have no idea how much she cried because of your actions!

Saber: But it's your own people who started the fight! It's not Shirou's fault, Rider!

Rider wanted to argue but Sakura stops her.

Sakura: Anyways, I don't care if you were also participant of Holy Grail War. But atleast you should think about the people! You abandoned Fujimura Sensei and several people! She almost died if wasn't for heroes!

Shirou: Fuji-Nee is alive. He thinks inside: Thank goodness.

Sakura: Anyways, you have your own life and wife now. I need to excuse myself because I want to live long with heroes and my current Senpai. Excuse me.

Then Sakura stands up and she is about to leave and Shirou stands up angrily.

Shirou: Fine! You go and live with your fellow people! I don't need you! You are a traitor! Like your brother Shinji!

Enraged because of his words, Toshinori punches him.

Toshinori: How dare you to compare her with a criminal like him?! Her life is ruined and you have no sympathy on her! Aren't you ashamed?!

Shirou: Everyone's life is ruined and I don't have time to sympathy on people. Hero of Justice, huh? I can't save people anymore. I'm done with that.

Realized that Shirou is not a same person anymore, Sakura's tears coming out and she leaves alongside Rider and Toshinori.

After they left, Rin comforts him.

Rin: Emiya-kun?

Then Shirou walks away alongside Saber and then he becomes upset and tears coming out from his eyes.

Shirou: Forgive me, Sakura.

Morning, Shirou is looking sad as he is cooking breakfast while Saber looks at him.

Saber: Shirou, what's wrong?

Shirou: It's just I miss my friends. Issei, Captain, Sakura and Fuji-Nee, they all left me behind.

Saber: But I won't leave you behind, Shirou. You are my master. No. You are my husband and I'm always with you.

Then Shirou pats her.

Shirou: Thank you, Saber.

Then they are having a kiss and their romance continues.
