Chapter 7

Several weeks had passed…

Optimus' voice box was fixed, so when Becca came to visit they could talk. Optimus looked away this particular day, and he was feeling something toward her. Optimus was scared of having the feelings he felt for her, he knew she was with that evil human.

Would she care if he had those feelings for her?

Would she even want him?

Becca bit her bottom lip; he was so quiet it bothered her.

"Optimus?" she asked. "Are you alright?"

Optimus looked at her with his newly fixed eye, and he seemed almost shy about what he wanted to say to her.

"Becca?" he asked.

"Yes, Optimus, what is it?" she asked.

"I am feeling emotions within my spark for you I….. I have a desire to be with you. I do not know how you would feel about that," he said. "I have been scared to trust again with everything that has been done to me. I wish to be accepted and….." Optimus started to say but stopped but Becca finished his words for him.

"Loved." she said.

"Yes," he answered.

Silence…

"You still love the human known as Savoy," Optimus said in a statement instead of a question.

"Yes," she whispered.

Optimus was silent then.

"He slaughtered my men and….." Optimus started to say.

"What, I can't love you both?" she said with a grin but the smile left her when she saw the expression in his eyes.

Cybertronians weren't like humans; they did indulge with multiple bonds, but Savoy was evil. He blamed him for something he never did, and he wanted awful things done to him. He had done things to him that not even Becca knew about, and he was too embarrassed and ashamed to tell her.

He looked away, his spark breaking and twisting within its chamber. He couldn't share her with someone like that.

"Forgive me, disregard what I asked you," Optimus said as Becca felt her heart sink at that.

"Alright," she whispered as she bit her bottom lip and left as Optimus watched her leave.

Several months had passed…

Optimus had gotten stronger, his armor made stronger by the metal from Wakanda, but Optimus was alone. Becca stopped coming around to see him, and it hurt him. He longed for her company, and craved it but it was obvious she had made her choice Savoy over him.

It hurt him more than he wanted to admit.

Becca finally made up her mind, what Optimus said was true, how could she love someone who was so evil? She looked at her phone when it rang…. Savoy.

"What?" Becca questioned her tone, annoyed and angry.

"Becca? I wanted to talk to you.." Savoy started to say.

"No, I am done with your crap, Savoy, you killed all those Autobots and then tortured the hell out of Optimus for no reason. They protected Earth, sure maybe people died, but people die in war all the time and yes, it's sad and regrettable but it happens. I am sorry about your sister, but I can't be with you anymore, you are a stone-cold killer," Becca said.

Silence…

"Are you with someone else?" Savoy demanded.

"What if I am? It's my business not yours, goodbye," Becca said.

Becca didn't give him a chance to say anything she hung up on him and blocked his number. She felt a weight lifted from her, as she went back to where Optimus was.

Optimus heard her come in, his spark racing when he saw her.

Primus, he wanted her.

"Becca?" Optimus whispered.

"Optimus, I was wrong I broke it off with Savoy, I want you not him," Becca said as Optimus felt everything in his body explode with a sudden need but fear still wrapped around him like a blanket.

Becca and Optimus had grown closer as the months passed but now Optimus wanted more his possessive side that primal need to make her his was stirring within him.

-Oooo-

Savoy felt pissed. He had thrown himself into his work trying to come up with ideas to hunt Optimus regardless of what Becca had said. They would get him back, and when they did he would pay with his life slowly.

~~~Stark Tower

One day, Optimus took the chance he wanted to make her his and only his, he had asked her permission before doing anything. He had activated his holoform, and though interfacing with Cybertronians was done differently he was as gentle and careful with her as he could be.

His spark burst out with love. He wanted this human so badly, and his spark moved faster than he realized as it went into her chest and into her heart making them both scream with passion.

'Thank you, Primus, thank you,'

Was Optimus' last thought as he was thrown into stasis by their passion.

Attinger and Joyce came in where Savoy was, Attinger having a smug look on his face.

"That girl you were panting over is now with Optimus Prime," Attinger said as Savoy punched the wall in fury hitting him like a ton of bricks.

"I want him dead, Attinger!" Savoy shouted.

Joyce smirked then.

"We have an idea that could work, we don't think Stark knows about this relationship. We think we could use this to our advantage and get him to throw his ass out," Attinger said as Savoy looked at him.

"Then you and your team could blow his ass apart without mercy," Joyce mused.

"Pleasure, do it," Savoy snapped.

-Stark Tower-

Becca and Optimus were snuggling together when Tony came in, and she quickly jumped up because her dad was weird about anything physical with someone she was going with. Although, he had no clue about their relationship because she didn't know how to tell him.

"Dad, what's up?" Becca asked as he gave his daughter a weird look.

"Go have breakfast with your mom, and then there's some things I need you to start doing for me," Tony said as she nodded and waved at Optimus who nodded and smiled at her.

He watched his daughter leave the lab as he turned back toward Optimus.

Optimus noted how the man seemed almost angry with him at that point, and he shrank back afraid suddenly. It was just out of instinct that he was afraid now Becca's father seemed so angry with him.

It confused Optimus. Did he do something wrong?

"You and I are going to have a talk," Tony remarked.

Optimus watched him.

"Becca has her life ahead of her and needs a human boyfriend and you have no place in her life or here now that you're fixed, I want you out of here and away from my daughter, is that clear?" Tony yelled.

Optimus felt like he was shot in the chest, he thought he had a mate. He felt like he truly had no place anywhere now. His troops were gone. His friends were gone. He had no one now except for Becca and now she was being taken away from him.

"Well?" Tony demanded.

"As you wish, I will go," Optimus said softly.

"Good, the sooner the better I will keep her busy with work she will forget all about you," Tony said as Optimus frowned but obeyed Tony.

Optimus had lost once more. Why didn't they just leave him to die at KSI, he would have liked that in place of a broken spark. He had no one now or a place to go. He spotted a different semi. It was a Western Star. He scanned it, and decided to try to get as far from here as he could.

Becca had made him feel things he hadn't before. He had no mate. Oh, but wanted one and now… Well now, he had nothing.

He had found love and lost it.

He drove for weeks and weeks pushing himself till he was so far away. Then he was just too exhausted to go any further and found a cave that would hide his energon signal.

He transformed and laid on the ground curling in on himself, while coolant ran down his face. He was so tired of pain and losing those he loved and cared for. He saw a little cat coming into the cave next to him jumping onto his face.

The little cat wanting the warmth and sensing Optimus needed a friend curled up near the Autobot's face. Optimus offlined his eyes, sobbing as his spark broke more.

"Why?" he whispered as the little cat stayed with him.

KSI headquarters….

Attinger had gotten word Optimus was out and he was alone more than likely vulnerable because he had lost Becca.

"He's dead this time," Savoy snarled.

"Fine, but we still need his body to study so try not to tear his body apart too badly," Joyce muttered.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I am getting my team ready," Savoy said.

Stark Tower...

Tony pulled Pepper out of the room then.

"I did the right thing, she is a young woman with her whole life ahead of her, I am not looking for Optimus now, understand?" Tony said as Pepper narrowed her eyes at him.

"Because he is an alien being?" Pepper demanded with a snide tone. A good part of the Avengers are aliens or enhanced beings, you're a real jackass sometimes, Tony," Pepper said snidely.

Silence…

"You created Vision and he found love with Wanda," Pepper said.

"Wanda is not our daughter!" Tony shouted as he walked away as Wanda walked up.

"He is so pig headed," Pepper said.

Optimus didn't even try to find energon or try to eat, he did find his new little furry friend food. He would sob a lot mostly because he was lost and confused and hurting and weeks had turned into months.

He didn't care if he lived or died now but his little furry friend tried to help him. The little cat pressed its face against his, the Autobot commander was lonely and starved for love now.

But his little friend who he named Impy, he would protect his little friend he had to have some sort of purpose for living.

"Now what?" Savoy asked.

"Have a message sent out that we want Optimus Prime again but send Cemetery Wind out to smoke him out, and this time we blow him to hell and back. I don't want him captured, I want him dead in the most inhumane way, understood?" Attinger said.

"What about what Joyce wants?" one of the men asked.

"Screw Joyce," Savoy growled.

"What about the Avengers?" one of the men asked.

"If we look in the right places, we should be able to flush him out," Attinger said. "Just watch out for Stark's freak show," he added.

"Alright, let's go get him," Savoy ordered. "Move out!"

Becca had been so busy working and doing everything for her dad she hadn't spent any time with Optimus and she missed him. She headed for where he had been and he wasn't there. She spotted his data pad in the corner, and she reached for it. Her hand went to her mouth when she read the letter, he left her while tears ran down her face.

Becca,

Your father has forbidden me from being with you and ordered me out of here now that I am fixed. I loved you so much. I am sorry I was so lost and suddenly I was happy with you. But it doesn't seem to matter but I honored his request. I will not bother you any longer. I hope you find love with a nice human, please take care and know what I felt was real. I know I am not human. However, it was real for me.

Optimus

Anger washed over her and fear, he was alone now, and it was her father's fault.

"DAD!" she yelled as Tony and Pepper came in and Becca threw the data pad at her father. "THAT was cruel you're no different than Savoy and those other bastards! I loved him and you had no right to stick your nose in my business, dad!" Becca shouted as Tony couldn't look at his daughter then.

She was right.

"We interrupt your show to bring an urgent message. The Autobot leader Optimus Prime has gone missing and still cannot be found. Harold Attinger and Joshua Joyce will pay a high price for anyone who will direct them to his current location." the Newscaster said as Becca paled.

"If he is hurt or killed, I swear I will NEVER forgive you, EVER," she cried as she ran to her room.

"Shit, alright Pepper, I'm going," Tony said as he rounded up the others

He couldn't lose his wife and daughter over his screw-up!
