Chapter 19: Beach Volleyball Tournament – Part 1:

On the beach, it's a beach volleyball tournament announcement and Sakura is standing with the boys and then Present Mic appears alongside a large black ball.

Present Mic: Everyone! We will have a beach volleyball tournament this time.

Then he shows a black ball to everyone.

Present Mic: This is Quirkball. You will use your quirks on this ball and then this ball will absorb the quirk. The rules are simple like a beach ball but you all will use this ball instead. Let me demonstrate it.

Sakura quickly shut her ears tightly and the boys do the same as her. Then Present Mic tosses the quirkball and screams.

Present Mic: BAHHHHH!

The quirkball absorbs his scream and then he smashes it to the ground. After that, the boys look at the ball but Sakura is still shutting her ears.

Quirkball: Present Mic: BAHHHHH!

The ball unleashes the screams and few boys become scared because of that.

Sakura opens her ears and she is taking a light breath as a relief and then she looks at Caster, who is trembled because of that and Caster thinks inside: Scary!

Sakura laughs at her quietly and Caster thinks inside: It's not funny, girl!

Then it is shown that the girls from the mountains are watching them as the beach volleyball tournament is broadcasted on the television.

Nejire: Lucky her. She is playing volleyball with the boys. I wish I would join with them.

Momo saw Rider and she is watching on Sakura carefully.

Momo: Is something wrong, Rider?

Rider: Nothing. I'm just worried about Master. We are separated for a while.

Momo thinks inside: Rider is very protective. Whatever.

Then Momo looks at Izuku.

Momo: I wonder who will be Midoriya's teammate.

The girls are staring at Momo and she becomes uncomfortable.

Momo: I wonder who will be Sakura's teammate.

Back to the beach, the boys are having discussion about teammates and Izuku is standing alone and he is thinking about his teammate.

Then Sakura appears.

Sakura: Senpai.

Izuku: Sakura, you are joining here in a tournament?

Sakura: Yes. Don't worry about me. Caster already granted me some magical powers. Let me show you.

Then Sakura shows her enhanced ability to him by smashing the wooden wall, breaking it to the pieces, surprising everyone.

Few: Woah! Amazing!

Izuku: Well… Wanted to team up with me?

Sakura walks away and she comes closer to Shoto.

Sakura: Todoroki Senpai, become my teammate.

Everyone especially Izuku is shocked because of her decision.

Izuku: Sakura?

Sakura: Senpai, I love you but I decided that I won't take you lightly. So, I challenge you to beat me and my teammate. You are at your own.

Izuku: What?

Shoto: I agree. Midoriya, since I always admire you as a friend. But I'm your rival as well. Sakura and I will defeat you in this tournament.

Sakura: I'm sorry, Senpai. But I have no other choice. Let's go, Todoroki Senpai.

Both Shoto and Sakura left Izuku and Katsuki appears.

Katsuki: Deku! I'm not finished with you. I'm going to beat you in a tournament and see whether you are capable of that title or not.

Then Izuku comes closer to Tenya in order to team up with him but.

Tenya: I'm sorry, Midoriya. I already have a teammate.

Izuku is still searching his own teammate and he can't see which teammate he should pick and he thinks inside: This is bad! I can't search a teammate!

Then he saw Tamaki as he is leaning on a wall alone and he thinks inside: I have no other choice!

Then Izuku comes closer to Tamaki.

Izuku: Well…

But Tamaki is too shy to respond and Izuku thinks inside: Amajiki Senpai is too shy! But!

While Izuku convinces Tamaki to become his teammate, Sakura and Shoto are watching on them.

Shoto: What's wrong, Sakura?

Sakura: I'm feeling guilty to become Senpai's rival in this tournament.

Shoto: Don't feel guilty about that, you are doing this for him.

Sakura nodded.

Then Caster is looking on them at far distance.

Caster: Sounds interesting.

Then she looks at Souchirou.

Caster: Let's team up, Souchirou.

Souchirou: I'm sorry, Caster. I already picked a teammate.

Then Caster looks at a small comic faced boy, upsetting her. Then Mirio appears.

Mirio: Man! Amajiki is taken by Midoriya. I think you have no choice but to team up with me, right?

Then the tournament is set with the teams as follows:

A Side:

1. Matou Sakura/Todoroki Shoto vs Caster Medea/Togata Mirio

2. Ojiro Mashirao/Sero Hanta vs Kaibara Sen/Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu

3. Tokoyami Fumikage/Kouda Kouji vs Hiryu Rin/Honenuki Juzo

4. Bakugo Katsuki/Kirishima Eijirou vs Kamakiri Togaru/Tsuburaba Kosei

B Side:

1. Midoriya Izuku/Amajiki Tamaki vs Kuroiko Shihai/Awase Yosetsu

2. Aoyama Yuuga/Satou Rikidou vs Monoma Neito/Shishida Joruta

3. Iida Tenya/Kaminari Denki vs Shoda Nirengeki/Bondo Kojiro

4. Mineta Minoru/Souji Mezou vs Fukidashi Manga/Kuzuki Souchirou

Meanwhile, the girls are watching over them.

Mina: Sakura is teamed up with Todoroki?

Nejire: Even Midoriya is teaming up with Amajiki.

Kyouka: Yeah. Sakura wants to challenge Midoriya. That's why she teamed up with Todoroki.

Toru: But both are still like a couple. Sakura and Todoroki.

Momo: Sakura and Todoroki, huh? She thinks inside: I feel bad for Midoriya.

Nejire: I wish I would join that tournament and team up with Midoriya, right Rider?

Rider didn't respond and Nejire becomes confused. Then Rider fantasizes herself with Izuku and then she thinks inside: I wish I would join a beach. I would team up with Izuku.

Then Rider looks at the girls who are staring at her.

Rider: Let's watch the tournament.

Then a Beach Quirkball Tournament starts with A Side:

Matou Sakura/Todoroki Shoto vs Caster Medea/Togata Mirio:

Before the match starts, Caster thinks inside: Let's see how you can win without superpowers, girl.

Then she snaps her fingers and Sakura loses her superpowers and she suspects about it.

Sakura: Todoroki Senpai.

Then she whispers Shoto something about he is shocked.

Shoto: What?!

Sakura shushs him and she makes a plan with him and whispering.

Shoto: I see.

Then the match starts with Sakura and she overthrows the ball to the opposite side. Mirio sees the ball and ends up getting nude, distracting Caster as she shut her eyes.

Sakura's team takes an advantage of that distraction and allows Shoto to hit the opposite side with his ice quirk on the ball. Fortunately for them, Caster is still distracted and the ball hits on her, freezing her, giving an instant victory to Sakura's team.

Result: Sakura's team wins and advances to the Semi Finals.

Mirio: You miss the shot, Caster.

Caster unfreezes the ice shield and becomes angry.

Caster: You were naked! I lost because of you!

Mirio: I'm sorry.

Ojiro Mashirao/Sero Hanta vs Kaibara Sen/Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu:

Result: Tetsutetsu's team wins.

Fumikage Tokoyami/Kouda Kouji vs Rin Hiryu /Honenuki Juzo:

Result: Juzo's team wins.

Bakugo Katsuki/Kirishima Eijirou vs Kamakiri Togaru/Tsuburaba Kosei:

Both Katsuki and Togaru are shouting at each other while Eijirou looks on.

Sakura: Both are loudmouthed.

Shoto: Indeed.

But Sakura looks at Kosei as he smiles at her and she becomes disappointed and she thinks inside: I don't like that guy. He reminds me about the former one.

Then the match starts with Katsuki blows off the quirkball and strikes directly at Kosei, exploding him and knocking him down.

Result: Katsuki's team wins.

Togaru: You! You are going to regret this, loudmouth!

Katsuki ignores him and he looks at Sakura who smiles at him and gives him thumbs up and he blushes.

A Side Tournament is over and the B Side Tournament is about to start. During break time, Izuku is drinking water and Awase Yosetsu appears in the front of him.

Yosetsu: Midoriya Izuku.

Izuku: What?

Yosetsu: It's good that you have a sexy Kouhai on your side. Lucky you.

Izuku looks at him seriously.

Yosetsu: But what if I say that I should have fun with her instead?

Enraged, Izuku holds him tight.

Izuku: What did you say?!

Both Izuku and Yosetsu are staring at each other eye to eye.

Yosetsu: Midoriya Izuku, I'm going to crush and humiliate you in that tournament in the front of your Kouhai.

Before Yosetsu leaves, he looks at the crushed cans on the trash bins. He uses Wield Quirk and transforms all the trash cans into the trash bin. Then he walks away.

Yosetsu: See you in a tournament.

Izuku is still serious because of him.

While Yosetsu is walking, Sakura appears in the front of him and she looks angry.

Yosetsu: Watch the tournament, Matou Sakura.

Then he left and Sakura looks at Izuku who is still angry at far distance.
