After they got off the plane Amanda and Olivia decided that they would rent 2 cars. They rented a Silver Kia Sorento and a Black Honda CR-V. Both the cars seat 8 people each which would fit everyone.
All the kids including Mia wanted to ride with Liv. Liv and the kids rode in the Honda while Sonny and Amanda rode in the Kia.
Liv's Car Ride
Olivia drove the car with Mia in the passenger seat. In the back Noah sat behind Olivia. Jesse sat in the middle with Billie on the other side of her.
"Mom, can we go to that Arcade?" Noah said pointing to a 2 story building with games you could see through the windows.
"Yea can we Auntie Liv?"Jesse added.
"We can but it will be later during the week?"
" Auntie Liv?" Jesse said excitedly.
"Yes sweetheart"
"Do you know if the house has a pool?"Jesse asked. Then Billie added "Pool!" Which made Olivia and Mia laugh.
"I don't know, you have to ask Uncle Sonny." Olivia replied.
For the rest of the ride they talked about what they were going to do while they were there.
Amanda & Sonny's Car Ride
Amanda drove the car while Sonny sat beside her in the passenger For the first few minutes of the car ride they were silent.
Amanda finally broke the silence. "Do you know how many bedrooms there are in the house?"
"Umm I am not really sure I know that it's a 2 story house and it has a pool and I think there is also a tree house. Why are you asking?" He thought it was pretty odd that she waited till they got here to ask.
"Well I just remembered that I told Liv that her and Noah would have their own room.I know that Jesse and Billie don't like to sleep on a couch and I am pretty sure Mia is going to want her own room. So that's at least 6 rooms for all of us." She said worriedly.
"I know that 2 of the rooms have bunk beds so one of the rooms can be for Noah and the other for the girls. I am pretty sure there's only 1 bedroom downstairs which can be Mia's. If it's okay with you Liv can have the Master Bedroom."
"That's fine with me." Sonny smiled knowing she could have argued for the Master Bedroom but didn't.
"And that leaves one bedroom for you. So we are perfectly fin-"
Amanda interrupted him "Where are you going to sleep?"
"Well I can sleep on the bunk bed with Noah or on the couch." He was actually okay with sleeping on the couch or with Noah. Truth was he was just happy that he got to spend 2 weeks with Amanda with no work.
"You are not going to sleep with Noah and you're definitely not sleeping on a couch. This is your vacation that you won." Amanda said in a firm tone.
"Well you're not sleeping on a couch either and I don't think Noah wants to be in the same room as a girl." he said the last part with a chuckle.
Amanda couldn't help but laugh at the last part. "We will just figure it out when we get there"
Amanda and Sonny got to the house first. About 5 minutes later Olivia and the kids arrived. Sonny got the key from a fake rock. When Sonny opened the door the first room was the living room. There was a grey L shaped couch with 2 grey recliners. There was a TV mounted on the wall.
He heard a quiet "wow" leave Amanda's mouth. He turned to look at her and saw she was looking at the kitchen. The kitchen had marble countertops. There was also an island that had chairs on one side of the island. On the other side of the kitchen was a dining room table with 10 chairs.
"Let's see if there's a pool." Noah said to Jesse as they went running towards the sliding glass doors that lead to the backyard. "Ahahah there's a pool!" Jesse screamed. "Oh my God look at that tree house" Noah added.
Noah ran to Olivia "Mom can we go swimming now?" he asked.
"Honey, we haven't even unpacked the car." she said with a smile.
"Oh yea I need to pick out my room" he said running to the stairs with Jesse following behind him she said "I need to pick my room too."
Amanda turned to Olivia "You can take the master bedroom."
Olivia looked surprised. "Are you sure?"
"Yes I told you that you would have your own room if you decided to come." Amanda said with a smile.
"Well I didn't know you meant the Master bedroom." Olivia said in disbelief.
"Sonny said that the Master bedroom was on the 2nd floor but I think it's that room over there." She said pointing to a door near the TV in the living room.
Amanda and Olivia walked to the room when they walked in, to their right was another door. Olivia opened it to reveal a bathroom. When you first walked in to the left there was a walk-in Shower. On the right there was a double sink with a frameless LED Light Vanity Mirror. Down a little father was a door to the left and another to the right. The left door was a walk-in closet and the right door had a toilet.
"Are you sure you don't want this room?" Olivia asked again.
Amanda laughed "Yea I am sure but I might come down here to do my makeup." Olivia laughed, "That's fine with me."
They walked out of the bathroom and went down the little hallway to find a queen sized bed on the right side of the room. On the left side was a long dresser with a TV mounted on the wall.
"This is beautiful." Amanda said quietly. Olivia walked over to the bed and layed on it "Wow this is amazing."
Amanda smiled "I'll have Noah bring your bag in here." Olivia sighed and said "okay".
Amanda walked out and shut the door behind her. She saw Mia and asked "Did you find a room?"
Mia nodded her head yes. "I have the one on the other side of the laundry room."
Amanda didn't even know that there was a laundry room but replied "oh okay." Mia walked off in the direction of her room.
Amanda walked upstairs to see if Noah and the girls were up there. There were 4 rooms upstairs. All the doors were opened. The first room was light grey. Noah was sitting on the floor digging through his bag trying to find something. Not wanting to bother him she quietly walked past his door to the next room was a bathroom. It was way smaller than Liv's bathroom but it was still nice.
Amanda made her way to the last room on this side of the house. The room was grey and had a bunk bed like Noah's room. Sonny was sitting on the floor with Billie in his lap. Jesse had a babydoll in her hand talking to Sonny.
"Mommy said that I couldn't get this doll because I have too many" Sonny was nodding his head. "But when I told her that I didn't have that doll she let me get it. Now it's my favorite doll." Jesse said happily.
"Did you tell her thank you" Sonny asked while rubbing Billies back.
"Yes I did." Jesse replied firmly.
Amanda chose that time to interrupt "Yes she did say thank you."
"Mommyyyy" Jesse said running to Amanda.
"Shhh baby Billie is sleeping." She said picking up Jesse.
"Oh yea sorry." Jesse said quietly. "Have you seen you and Sonny's room?"
Amanda turned her head to look at Sonny. Sonny met her eyes "I didn't tell her we were sharing a room." Amanda turned her head to look at Jesse.
"Noah said that there was only one room left." Jesse said about to cry because she thought she was in trouble. "Honey you're not in trouble, don't cry, I was just wondering why you said that." Amanda said, stroking her cheek. "okay but can I go play with Noah now?" Jesse said softly.
"Yes you can." Amanda put her down and she ran out of the room.
"Where do you want me to put Billie?" Sonny asked.
"You can just put her on the bottom bunk. Can you get up with her?"Amanda was being serious but Sonny acted like he was offended. "Are you calling me old?"
Amanda couldn't help but laugh. "No, I never said that." Sonny laughed too.
Sonny put Billie on the bottom bunk. Then they walked out of the room. Sonny shut the door but not all the way.
Sonny and Amanda walked down the hallway to the other bedroom. First they checked on Jesse and Noah. They were playing with the toy cars that Noah had brought with him.
Amanda opened the door to a hallway similar to Olivia's room but there was no bathroom to the left or right. As they walked to the end of the hall there was a queen sized bed, just like there was in Olivia's room.
"This room looks exactly like Livs room except there's no bathroom or walk-in closet."Amanda said looking around the room.
"No, there's a bathroom and a closet but I don't think it's a walk-in closet." Sonny said, pointing to a closed door.
Amanda and Sonny both walked over to the door Amanda opened the door and they walked in. The bathroom looked like Olivias but there was just a regular mirror and a body mirror.
"This is almost exactly like Liv's." Amanda said, looking around the bathroom. She walked over to the mirror and looked at herself. She rubbed under her eyes where her mascara had smeared and mumbled "Why do I look so ugly."
Sonny turned to look at her through the mirror. "Amanda".
She was hoping that he didn't hear what she had just said. She slowly turned around to look at him.
"Don't say that." She dropped her head. "Amanda." he said again putting his fingers under her chin trying to get her to look at him. Her watery eyes met his. "Why would you say that?"
A tear fell. "It's true."
Sonny brushes away the tear that fell "You are beautiful I don't know why you wear makeup you definitely don't need it." Sonny stepped closer to her, their bodies only inches apart.
"You don't have to say that to make me feel better." She said, trying not to fully cry.
"Are you being serious? Baby you are beautiful. Please don't ever say that about yourself again."
Amanda looked at him and quietly said "okay".
Sonny put a piece of fallen hair behind her ear. "I am going to go get your bags from the car and bring them up here for you."
Amanda smiled and asked "and your bags?"
"I am sleeping on the couch." Her smile dropped "Well I am sleeping on the couch with you." Sonny raised his eyebrows. "You're sleeping in a bed, not a couch. I'll be fine." Amanda rolled her eyes at him being stubborn. "Well you're sleeping in a bed" she quietly added "with me."
Sonny's eyes widened. "Are you sure?" Amanda nodded her head yes. "It only makes sense." Sonny dropped his head.
Sonny has been in love with her for a long time. He wanted to tell her many times in the past but never had the courage to say something. When he did have the courage something always got in the way. He told himself by the end of the trip she would know how he feels about her but he didn't think it would be this hard. It was like she didn't want to sleep in the same bed as him. Like she got stuck with him.
"I am going to get the bags" he said as he exited the room.
