Lucas was at Elizabeth's bedside at the infirmary and has never left her side. He's worried about his wife and baby who according to Carson has to come into the world now. Lucas sat there waiting impatiently to meet his new son or daughter and was hoping Elizabeth would be ok after the baby is born.
Carson finally came back in the room and declared that Elizabeth's body can't handle the baby being inside her anymoreso he had to deliver the baby. Elizabeth wasn't waking up so he knew right then he needed to do a C-Sectionso, Carson prepared for that. About two hours later Lucas heard a baby cry coming from the back room where Carsonwas operating on Elizabeth. Carson five minutes later came out of theback room out to Lucas carrying a healthy babygirl. Lucas then looked up and stood up fast.
LUCAS' POV
I look and see Carson carrying a healthy baby. I immediately stand up and walk over to Carson tears falling down my face. Carson then looked at me and said. "Congratulations you have ahealthy babygirl." Iimmediately smiled. "I was hoping for a girl." Carson handed my daughter to meand I held her close. Then I looked at Carson wondering if my wife is ok. "Your wife is fine. Her fever is back to normal." I sighed in relief. "Thank goodness. Thank you Carson for everything." Carson then smiled at me. "My pleasure. Your able to go back and see your wife. She should be awake soon."I then held my daughter close and started to walk back to where Elizabeth was. I stopped and looked at Carson. "Thank you again Carson for everything you do. Carson smiled at me. "It's my pleasure. Now go see your wife." I nod and go back to see my wife while carrying my daughter. I am literally so lucky to have the family I have.
