CHAPTER 3:

Aubrey and Chad were happy to return home.

"Looks like he had fun meeting everyone tonight," Chad said.

"I'll say. Judging by the fact that he didn't get fussy once tonight, I think he'll really grow to love the other Bellas," Aubrey said.

"I don't doubt it. How about we watch a movie after Finn falls asleep," Chad suggested.

"Good idea. But first, I need to give Finn a bath," Aubrey said as she took Finn over to the kitchen sink.

After Finn's bath, Aubrey got him out of the tub to dry off. Once Finn was dry, Aubrey put his onesie on him before placing him in his crib. Once in the crib, Aubrey sang Finn a lullaby as he fell asleep within minutes. After Finn fell asleep, Aubrey went downstairs to join Chad for a movie.

"Is he asleep?" Chad asked.

"Yep. Let's enjoy the movie," Aubrey said as the two shared a kiss before starting the movie.

Back at CR and Denise's apartment at about 8 p.m., the doorbell rang again. CR answered the door, and this time, it was Beca, Chloe, and Amy.

"Hey, glad you ladies could make it," CR said as they came in.

"So, where is she?" Beca asked.

"She's right here," CR said as Rachel was standing behind her.

"Hi there. Aren't you just adorable," Chloe smiled.

"You said her name is Rachel?" Amy asked.

"Yep," CR said.

"What a beautiful name. Welcome to the Bella family," Beca said as Rachel reacted with a smile to Beca's soft words.

"You want us to sing for you?" CR asked as Rachel nodded.

"Rachel, all of us met when we were in an acapella group in college called The Barden Bellas. Ever since we became Bellas, we've all been like a second family to each other. And with the Bellas now making families of their own, each new marriage and birth (or in your case, adoption) officially becomes one for our big Bella family. And the most important part is, even though we've all graduated years ago, us Bellas will surely be Bellas for life," Chloe explained as Rachel smiled.

"Did you understand all of that, Rachel?" CR asked as Rachel nodded.

At that point, Rachel was getting sleepy, so Denise carried the tired daughter to her bedroom while Stacie, Bella, Esther, and Flo were getting ready to leave.

"Hey, guys. We have to get going. I got to get Bella to bed on time," Stacie said.

"And Flo and I have a long drive back to Providence. So we'll see you all later," Esther said.

"Bye, everyone," Flo said as the four went home.

"I think she's very lucky to have you two," Chloe said.

"And she has the most awesome smile," Amy said.

"Denise and I are very lucky to have her with us," CR said, thankfully.

One month later, the Bellas minus Emily, Jessica, and Ashley were all gathered at Aubrey and Chad's house.

"Bellas, we're here today to look back on one heck of a summer we've had," Aubrey announced as the Bellas toasted.

"I am so speechless regarding what has happened, from Aubrey and Chad's son being born to CR and Denise adopting their daughter, and now our youngest, Emily, just got engaged!" Chloe recapped.

"Hey, how about we do a FaceTime call with her right now," Beca suggested as the other Bellas agreed.

Beca made the call hoping Emily would answer, and she did so.

"Hey, Beca," Emily said.

"Hey, there. We wanted to say congratulations once again to you and Benji on your engagement," Beca said.

"Thanks, guys. I'm really happy we're finally doing this. And I'm glad you called too. I wanted to ask a favor of you guys..." Emily said.

"Sure, anything," Chloe offered.

"Will five of you Bellas be my bridesmaids?" Emily asked.

"Definitely," Beca said.

Chloe, Aubrey, and Stacie agreed as well. And then, after a long moment of thinking, Flo did as well.

"Great. After a month of thinking, we finally agreed on a wedding date. The wedding is set for...February 14th, 2020!" Emily said.

"On Valentine's Day?" Chloe asked, surprised.

"Yeah. It was Benji's idea. I was reluctant to go with it, but if he believes it's the perfect day to get married, how could I say no?" Emily asked.

"Well, we all look forward to it," Beca responded.

"Thanks. I'll send you all the details once Benji and I get them finalized. Talk to you soon," Emily said.

"Bye," the Bellas said before Emily hung up.

"A Valentine's Day wedding? Who would've ever thought?" Stacie asked.

"It's a good thing we never threw away those red dresses we used for Aubrey and Chad's wedding," Chloe said.

"That's a great idea. Let's face it; if it's a Valentine's Day wedding, the two colors that would make the most sense are red and pink," Beca reasoned.

"But, remember: It's Emily's wedding, so let's text her to see what color dresses she decides on," Chloe added.

"I'll text her right now and find out," Beca said as she went ahead and did so.

The text read, "What color dresses should us bridesmaids wear?"

About five minutes later, Emily replied, "I know: Since it's a Valentine's Day wedding, how does red sound?"

Beca replied, "Sounds good to me."

Emily replied, "Great. Looking forward to it."

"Well, looks like if our dress colors are red, I'm the only one who'll have to go dress shopping," Aubrey said.

"Let's get through Christmas before we get too caught up on this wedding," Beca suggested.

"Agreed," Chloe said.
