At the time, he felt awful to put him through that.
But now, it's kinda nice feeling.
He snapped out out of his daze to take in a cupcake order over the phone.
"Will you delivered them, Taro? It's been while since we hanged out."
Shotaro rested his elbow on counter by the cash register. "I can't do that anymore."
"That's ridiculous, can't have a few beers with old friends?"
Shotaro whispered covered his mouth. "You know it's never just that, we end up doing stupid mind tricks to our human friends."
"Which has always been harmless confessions of embarrassing stuff. They laugh afterwards anyway."
Shotaro frowned deepened.
"Alright, fine no humans. Just a few beers like the old days. Or you can't drink either?"
"I'll pick up the beers after my shift." Shotaro said before hanging up.
In the evening, Shotaro sat down restaurant with his senior Jaehyun.
True to his word, there were no humans sitting beside them.
"Wow, if I never called we've would've never seen each other for another year." Jaehyun said before taking a swig of his drink.
Shotaro tells him about his situation with Jisung.
Afterwards, Jaehyun didn't seem surprised.
"You're not the first one I know who bonded with a pack member." Jaehyun shrugs.
"Senpai, What am I gonna do against a whole pack? Jisung expects it from me." Shotaro stressed with his head on table.
"I'll help you mind control them temporarily. I know that's not what you wanted to hear "
"It's a terrible ability to have."
"It is, but we're not strong like Alpha's. I'm surprised that one at the party let you go home."
