2. Kai, Shachioko, Sidon and Kuroyanagi

"Sooooo…" Shachioko leaned back against the wall, grinning. "Sidon, spill."

Sidon, Prince of the Zora, frowned. "I do not think spilling things would be appropriate for this conversation."

Shachioko facepalmed himself. "I meant, what's it like? How are things going between you and Meister?"

Sidon froze. "How did you…?"

Kuroyanagi sighed as he leaned back in his chair. "It honestly wasn't hard to figure it out. I think it's fair to say all of us knows about you and Meister being together."

Despite the excuse that they were all going to train, none of the group (save for Kai) actually wanted to train right now. They were reeling from the earlier possibilities of Yukino also being in Hyrule, and considering all the travelling they just went through, they needed a little time off. Time to refresh.

Time to, apparently, talk about romantic relationships.

"It's fine." There wasn't really much else Sidon could say, and even if everyone in the entire castle knew about his and Sylvan's relationship, he wasn't about to just start talking about it all the time. "It's nice."

"That's it?" Shachioko blinked. "Nice?"

"What else would it be?" He tilted his head to the side, thinking of how Shachioko and Urbosa once danced together. "What about you and Urbosa?"

"What!?" Shachioko's eyes widened. "M-me and Urbosa?"

Sidon internally tried not to laugh at the other's reaction. "Yes. Both of you were getting along fairly well, last I saw of the two of you. And how did that outing at Tarrey Town go the other night?"

"Uh…" Shachioko looked completely lost, the poor man having no idea that the tables turned on him so soon. Sidon noticed Kuroyanagi and Kai exchange amused looks before Shachioko sighed and leaned back against the closest wall.

"Alright, alright! I have a crush on Urbosa, okay!?'

"What!?" Kuroyanagi nearly fell over at hearing that, and Sidon himself almost jumped, startled by Kuroyanagi's outburst. "It's a serious crush!?"

"Of course it's serious! Why wouldn't it be!?" Shachioko groaned, burying his head in his hands. "We talked about this back at Goron City, Kuroyanagi! I kinda want to be stronger for her. Is that…is that really so weird!?"

"It's not a bad motivation, but is she even interested?"

"I don't know! I didn't ask her that straight-up that night!"

Sidon could only watch for a few moments as Shachioko and Kuroyanagi descended into bantering about Shachioko's crush scenario. He looked towards Kai, swallowing lightly.

"How long do you think these two will keep discussing this?" After all, Kai would know them better than he did, after all, due to working with them.

The swordsman baker shrugged. "Probably until they give into total despair." Kai simply answered.

To prevent them from falling into total despair, Sidon immediately butted into the conversation. "If you're concerned about whether Urbosa admires you back, wouldn't it be best to directly ask her?"

"I know, but…" Shachioko faltered, looking towards Sidon. He looked upset, worried, even. His brows furrowed as he asked, "What if I end up opening some old wounds? Like what if she had a past lover or something?"

"Even then, it might not be a bad idea to ask." Sidon managed. "If she's not willing to be in a relationship, at least you'll know to back off. And if she's ready, I'm sure she'd let you know."

"Right." A sudden fire sparked in Shachioko's eyes, and Sidon wondered if trying to help was a bad idea. "That does it! I'm gonna ask her!"

"In the morning." Kuroyanagi quickly cut in, giving him a terse stare. "And she's occupied right now anyway."

"Er…" Shachioko faltered then asked, a sheepish smile appearing on his face. "Tomorrow morning, then?"

"Let's try after breakfast." Sidon gently suggested. "Conversations are best held without an empty stomach."

Both Kuroyanagi and Shachioko stared at Sidon. "Neither you nor Meister waited until after breakfast when you two confessed your love for each other…" Kuroyanagi pointed out.

Sidon failed to stop his face from flushing, but at least he was trying to help! Love and relationships was something he was no full expert in. Neither was anyone else in this room, either. "Well, I'm not exactly an all-knowing expert on romance. I'm just trying to offer suggestions!"

"Fair."

The Prince of the Zora could only hope that any romance-related encounters in the near-future would end well for everyone involved. If they didn't, well…

That would be another awkward mess to deal with, wouldn't it?

He thought of himself and of the General Manager of Pantasia. Sure, everyone in the castle knew, but…he wasn't as worried as that as he might be if his own father found out. Let alone the rest of the Zora elders. They likened the bakers to be somewhat like Hylians, which wasn't helpful considering the current circumstances.

However all of this went, Sidon knew this: Whatever happened, he just wanted the other to be happy. And he hoped that no matter what happened with everyone else romancing each other, that they could be happy in the end.
