Ash, May, Brock, Misty, Drew, Clemont and Bonnie, along with Pikachu, are in Prism Tower casually relaxing, conversating amongst themselves.

Clemont: So, May, what are you doing here in Kalos?

May: Ash persuaded me to come with him to participate in the Pokémon Showcases here in Kalos.

Bonnie: Yeah, that cool. Me, Clemont and Bonnie traveled with a friend who participated in Pokémon Showcases.

May: Yeah, I know.

Bonnie: Ah, so Ash told you. I guess he isn't dense, no more, if you know what I mean.

Ash: Bonnie, can I talk to you in private?

Bonnie: Sure.

(in a private room)

Bonnie: I know why you're here. You want to see Serena again don't you?

Ash: Yes, I do. And before you even ask, yes, I have feelings for her.

Bonnie: I think it's pretty clear that she also has feelings for you too. I mean, look at the incident at that airport.

Ash: Yeah, I still can't get that moment out of my head. Not that it's a bad thing, but it made me realize that I was dense as a rock, and so I thought about it, and I developed feeling for her.

Bonnie: You love her, don't you?

Ash: Yeah, I do.

Bonnie: Do you kow why I was teasing Serena the first time we traveled together?

Ash: Because you were trying to make me realize that she loves me, and that I should probably return those feelings for her?

Bonnie: You hit it right on the nail. Does anybody else know?

Ash: Everybody except your brother and Brock. But I have a feeling that Drew told Brock about it.

(with everybody else)

May: I have a feeling I know why Ash asked Bonnie to talk to her in private.

Clemont: What do you mean?

May: The friend that Bonnie was talking about.

Clemont: Okay…..WHAT?

May: Are you getting it?

Clemont: Yep, Ash has a crush on Serena, and vice versa.

Brock: Wait, Ash has a crush? I thought he was too dense for that.

Everyone else: Yeah, I thought so, too.

(when Ash returns)

Everybody: Congrats!

Ash: Oh great, did you tell them May?

May: Sure did.

Ash: Great. Well, in that case, let's head to Vaniville Town.

Everyone else: Let's go.

(2 days later)

Misty: Well, we're almost there. Wait, where's May and Drew?

Ash: I don't know.

(in an unknown area)

Drew: I need to tell you something.

May: Go ahead, Drew.

Drew: I love you, May.

May: W-w-w..

Drew: Ever since we traveled in Johto, I realized that-

(May kisses Drew on the lips, shocking Drew)

May: I love you too, Drew.

Drew: Well, would you like to be by girlfriend?

May: I'd love too.

(They both kiss each other for about a minute. After a while, they returned.)

Ash: Why were you gone so long?

May: We confessed to each other, bro. We're a couple.

Ash: Hey, ey, congrats, sis.

Brock: Great job, bro. By the way, I already knew that you had a crush on May.

Drew: How did you know?

Brock: May told me in private when we were on the plane.

(in Vaniville Town)

Brock: I didn't think that Vaniville Town was this big.

Ash: I thought so, too. Oh yeah, I need to call a friend.

May: Is it Serena?

Ash: Actually no, it's Gary Oak.

Drew: Like Gary Oak, Professor Oak's grandson?

Ash: Yep, and my former rival during Kanto and Johto.

Misty: Yeah, won't forget those memories.

Brock: Same here.

(on his cell phone)

Ash: Yo Gary.

Gary Oak: Ash? Why are you calling me?

Ash: Is Serena in the house with you?

Gary Oak: No, she's with Shauna right now, chatting. Ah, I see, you have a crush on Serena, don't you. She's told me a lot about you, and she wants to see you again.

Ash: Yes, I do, and that's great to hear. Anyways, we're here in Vaniville Town. Don't let Serena come home. We're going to surprise her.

Gary Oak: You got it.

(Ash returns to the group)

Ash: Alright, we're all set.

Everybody else: Alright, let's go.

(at Serena's house)

(Ash knocks on the door)

Gary Oak: Alright, you guys are here. Please, come on in. Serena won't be home for quite a while.

Ash: Where's Grace?

Gary Oak: She's sadly passed away a few days ago.

Ash: Mm, so sorry. Anyways, how's your research?

Gary Oak: It's doing fine. Right now, I'm doing research on fossil Pokémon, more specifically the Sail and Jaw Fossils.

Clemont: Those are the fossils used to resurrect the ancient Pokémon Tyrunt and Amaura, right?

Gary Oak: That's correct. By the way, what are your names?

May: I'm May.

Drew: Drew's the name.

Clemont: My name's Clemont, and this is my little sister, Bonnie.

Bonnie: Nice to meet you.

Gary Oak: Gee, I would have never guessed Ashy-boy had a crush on a girl (gives a sinister look).

Ash: Shut up, Oak Tree.

Gary Oak: Just teasing you, anyways, yeah, you are correct. But we're not just gathering research on those two fossils. We're also gathering research on other fossils from other regions.

Brock: Like the Helix and Dome Fossils used to resurrect Kabuto and Omanyte and the Old Amber to resurrect Aerodactyl.

Clemont: Also like the Cover and Plume fossils to resurrect Tirtouga and Archen.

May: In Hoenn, the fossils there are Root and Claw Fossils to resurrect Anorith and Lileep. I also heard in Sinnoh, the fossils there are the Skull and Armor fossils to resurrect Cranidos and Shieldon.

Gary Oak: Yeah, the world of fossil Pokémon is very expansive.

Drew: So, what exactly are you researching the fossils for?

Gary Oak: There is a multitude of reasons why, but the main reasons is to study how long the Pokémon lived before they got fossilised?

Bonnie: That sounds cool. You should let us see them.

Gary Oak: I will someday. Oh, I'm getting a call. Hold on.

(on the phone with Shauna)

Gary Oak: Hey Shauna, what's up?

Shauna: Serena is on her way home.

Gary Oak: Okay, thanks.

Shauna: You're welcome.

(back with the group)

Gary Oak: Okay, she's coming. Ash, ready for the plan?

Ash: I am, let's do this.

Gary Oak: Okay, here's what we'll do.

(Gary explains everything, and they do it.)

(when Serena comes home)

Serena: Hey, cuz-. Wait, why is there so many people here?

Gary Oak: I invited them for a visit.

Serena: Okay. Hey Bonnie and Clemont.

Clemont: Serena, it's been a long time.

Serena: Same here. Who are the others?

May: I'm May.

Drew: Drew's the name.

Brock: I'm Brock.

Misty: I'm Misty.

Serena: Nice to meet you. There's only one person missing. I'm going to put my stuff up in my room.

Gary Oak: Okay, cuz.

(radios to Ash)

Gary Oak: She's coming up into her room. You ready? The password is braixen45.

Ash: Got it.

(opens the door to her room)

Serena: Alright, time to-wait, who are you and what are you doing at my computer?

(Ash doesn't answer. By the way, he is wearing a black hoodie like a hacker)

Serena: Gary, there is an intruder in my room. Get up here!

Gary Oak: What's wrong?

Serena: I don't know who this is, but I don't like it.

(Gary signals to Ash to turn around quietly and take his hood off)

Gary Oak: Oh, I think you will. Why don't you turn around and look.

Serena: Wait, what?

(Serena turns around and sees Ash.)

Ash: Hey, Serena. It's been a long time.

Serena: Ash? Oh my god!

(Serena runs to hug Ash)

Serena: I've missed you, so much.

Ash: I've missed you, too.

(By the way, Gary left and told the others to not go in her room.)

Ash: I need to tell you something.

Serena: I need to as well.

Both: I love you.

(Both kiss each other and eventually chat about what they've been up to lately, until Gary runs up to Serena's room.)

Gary Oak: Hey guys, come downstairs. I think you guys need to see this.

(when they get downstairs)

Gary Oak: Look on the TV.

(Both Ash and Serena see something has happened in Santalune City.)

Ash: What happened?

Gary Oak: An earthquake happened in Santalune City.

Serena: Not by a Pokémon, right?

Clemont: No, not at all.

Ash: How bad?

Clemont: 7.6

Serena: I think we need to help with the rescue efforts.

Gary Oak: They did say that any people with Pokémon were allowed to help out, so yeah, I think we need to go.

Ash: Alright, let's go.
