Gary Oak: Look on the TV.

(Both Ash and Serena see something has happened in Santalune City.)

Ash: What happened?

Gary Oak: An earthquake happened in Santalune City.

Serena: Not by a Pokémon, right?

Clemont: No, not at all.

Ash: How bad?

Clemont: 7.6

Serena: I think we need to help with the rescue efforts.

Gary Oak: They did say that any people with Pokémon were allowed to help out, so yeah, I think we need to go.

Ash: Alright, let's go.

And now.

(They reach Santalune City)

Officer Jenny: Do you guys have Pokémon?

All of them: Yes, we do.

Officer Jenny: Alright, you guys are clear to go in and help.

Clemont: How is the Pokémon Center?

Officer Jenny: The Pokémon Center only received some minor damage, but it's mostly fine.

Ash: That's good. I think we should go to the Pokémon Center first to see what we should do.

Brock: Good idea. Let's go.

(At the Pokémon Center)

Gary Oak: Nurse Joy, what's going on?

Nurse Joy: The earthquake hurt many Pokémon, and a few have severe injuries.

Clemont: Where is most of the damage?

Nurse Joy: Near Downtown.

Shauna: Hey, guys.

Ash: Shauna, it's been a long time. How bad is it?

Shauna: Pretty bad near downtown.

Clemont: I think we should take these walkie-talkies to stay in contact.

Brock: Good idea.

Clemont: I also think we should split up. Ash and Serena, you guys go near the gym to see what's going on there. May and Drew, you guys go towards center city. Gary and Misty, you should go help the people around the town. Me and Bonnie will help get electricity back up across the city. Brock and Shauna, I think you should help in the Pokémon Center.

All: Let's do it.

(with Ash & Serena at the Gym)

Ash: The gym is destroyed. Viola, what happened?

Viola: Hey, it's Ash and Serena. Because of the earthquake, the gym came crumbling down.

Ash: Was there anybody inside?

Viola: Yeah, my sister Alexa, she's trapped under the rubble.

Serena: Alright, we'll get her out of there.

Viola: Thanks.

Ash: Has your Pancham evolved?

Serena: Yeah, it has.

Ash: Alright good, send out Pangoro.

Serena: Got it. Pangoro, come on out.

Ash: Machamp, I choose you.

Alexa: Ash, Serena is that you?

Serena: Yeah, it's us. Are you alright?

Alexa: Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just trapped.

Ash: How bad are you trapped?

Alexa: A couple pieces of rubble are on top of me, but that's it. I've tried to move it, but I can't.

Serena: Alright, we'll help. Pangoro, use Arm Thrust.

Ash: Machamp, use Strength.

(Machamp and Pangoro use their respective moves, and remove the rubble, freeing Alexa.)

Serena: Are you okay?

Alexa: Yeah, I'm fine. Hey, are you guys-.

Ash: Yes, we are.

Alexa: Well, congratulations.

Serena: Thanks. But right now, we need to help the other people here. I'm radioing Clemont.

(on the walkie-talkie)

Clemont: Hello?

Serena: It's me. The gym came down and Alexa was trapped inside.

Clemont: Is she okay?

Serena: Yeah, she's fine. How are you guys doing?

Bonnie: This is Bonnie, Luxray and Dedenne are currently working right now giving electricity on a backup generator to get power to the city. Clemont is actually repairing the electricity to get the main line going.

Serena: That's good. We'll check on the others.

Clemont: Thanks a lot for the update.

(with Gary and Misty)

Misty: It seems like the townspeople don't have many problems. All the outside houses seem okay.

Gary Oak: (hears an old woman screaming help.) I hear somebody, let's go.

Misty: Alright.

(when they get to the house)

Gary Oak: What's wrong.

Old Woman: Part of my house is caved in, and I need help getting out the home.

Misty: Alright, we're coming in the house.

(They get the old woman out.)

Old Woman: Thanks a lot.

Gary Oak: Do you have any injuries?

Old Woman: A couple scrapes, but I should be fine.

Misty: We'll take you to the Pokémon Center to be safe.

Old Woman: Thanks you guys.

Gary Oak: I'm radioing to Ash.

(on the walkie-talkie)

Ash: Hello?

Gary Oak: We had one injury, and we're talking her to the Pokémon Center.

Ash: How bad is it?

Gary Oak: Just a couple scrapes, but we're taking her to be safe.

Ash: Alright, thanks.

(with May and Drew)

Drew: Downtown has minor damage, but it's looks fine.

May: Yeah, I don't see anything.

Drew (yelling to the crowd around them): Does anybody here need help?

Shopkeeper: I need help cleaning up this mess full of glass.

Drew: Alright, I'm coming.

May (also yelling): What about anybody else?

(The others don't need any help.)

May: I'm going to radio everybody.

(on the walkie-talkie)

May: Can everybody hear me.

Everybody: Yeah, we can. What going on May?

May: Downtown looks fine. The only issue is a store that had it's merchandise broken during the earthquake, and it wound up making a mess. Other than that everything's fine. How's the gym, Ash.

Ash: The gym got destroyed, one was trapped, but not injured.

May: Good. Clemont, how are you.

Clemont: We have backup power to the city. I'm almost done repairs. I should be done in 3, 2, 1. Did it work?

(Everybody sees street lights come on, indicating it did work.)

Ash: Yeah, it worked.

Clemont: Awesome. Brock, how are you and Shauna doing?

Shauna: We had backup power going, so everything was handled under control. Gary and Misty came in with an old woman with minor scrapes, but other than that, everybody and everything is fine.

Clemont: That's good to hear. We should go Downtown to make a statement.

(They all go downtown with Officer Jenny holding a megaphone.)

Officer Jenny: Alright, everybody listen. We have everything under control. If your house is damaged or destroyed, we have more than enough rooms in the Pokémon Center for you to rest up.

Nurse Joy: As usual, if your Pokémon need help, then you can bring them to me.

Clemont: Electricity is back up and your TV's should be working, along with other appliances.

Everybody in the town: Alright.

(after a few days of rebuilding, Santalune City, along with the gym, is rebuilt.)

Officer Jenny: All of the houses are rebuilt, and it seems the gym is up too. Thanks you guys for your help. The townspeople seem happy. I have a feeling Viola is going to be busy though. When we were rebuilding, we had a multitude of trainers come to the gym and challenge Viola.

Ash: I know Viola can handle it, I think she'll be fine.

Officer Jenny: I think so, too.

Clemont: Thanks, we best be getting on our way.

Officer Jenny: Thanks, guys. You've been a big help.

Everybody: See you later.

All in the group: Same here, bye.
