"Well, it seems like everything is going in perfect order!" Forseti laughed, before looking over at Lewyn, who was sitting down in the void. "Say, Lewyn, you've been quiet these past years, wouldn't you like to say something?"
Lewyn finally looked back at him, shaking his head. "What am I supposed to say? I already gave up years ago, I'm just ready to die at this point."
Another laugh. "Oh, don't be like that! The fun's just getting started!" Forseti told him, shifting into his 'human' form. It was a slightly smaller figure than Lewyn, with teal hair and red eyes, in a similar bard-like outfit as Lewyn had. "Now all I need is Ced to memorize Forseti's spell and my plan will finally come to fruition, after seventeen long years! Knowing how capable he is with magic plus his Holy Blood, it's only a matter of time until he masters it! Then with our forces combined, and two Forseti users, no one will stop us!"
"Now there's something I didn't know, how does the usage of the spell without the sacred book affect anything?" Lewyn asked, still glaring at Forseti.
"Oh, my son, you should know this by now, you've used it yourself, the tome is absolutely powerful. So with two of them? Every area of the continent will be obliterated, metaphorically of course." He grinned, flying closer to Lewyn. "And when that pitiful dragon Loptyr is out of the picture, nothing else will stand in my way from making the continent...the world! My own."
"That's your motive? Using the divine wind for power?" Lewyn scoffed as a way to get back at him. "Wow, for someone as all-powerful as you, I expected more than just that. You're no more than Loptyr himself."
"No no, that's not the only thing I wanted. I just want a little bit more...spice to this world so to say. It's always the same thing in every world, Loptyr gets defeated and the world is saved, and then I leave. The only good conflict I get out of it is a bit of daddy drama with your three potential children. And even then, it's only three. It gets boring after a while, the only thing that really changes is who gets which Holy Blood and who goes to each kingdom, nothing too interesting."
"Okay so then why-" He tried to protest, but only got interrupted with another big explanation from the dragon.
"Though I suppose thinking about it now, your children can be of some use. Arthur is already beaten down, almost going crazy, so when he eventually meets Ced, there's no doubt he'll go after him. That Forseti tome is easy to spot, and he already knows that 'you' had children with the queen, it's sorta common knowledge for most of the world. Thing is, nobody knows Arthur and Tinni have Forseti blood too, rumors maybe, but there's no proof. But Arthur would definitely try to take Ced down, which might arise more than just a simple argument."
"So you haven't forgotten about them. Huh, I thought for sure you'd forget they existed."
Looking deep into Lewyn's eyes, he let out another laugh. "Oh, I never forgot about your children, I had thought of disposing of them, but that would be such a worthless decision. Seeing him now, your son seems too ambitious in wanting to take anyone down. Tinni, though, well, she's there, much like Fee."
"Well, I suppose I cannot do anything to stop you, can you at least let me see Arthur and Tinni?"
"Oh, of course! Took you long enough, just be warned, it's gruesome. Were you that bored of my own plans with Erin's kids, huh?"
Lewyn cringed at Forseti using the nickname 'Erin' but didn't bother to argue any further. "You know I haven't seen them in years! I just want to...see them again. At least once."
"Then you can see them, I can do some magic shenanigans to show what's been happening with them." With that, he began to recite a chant. A light appeared in the dark void, similar to what Lewyn saw within Forseti's perspective. Then he could see more clearly as time went on.
"There, just go have fun!" Forseti said, before going back into dragon form, and focusing on what he needed to do next.
Suddenly, he heard a knock at the door. Huh, why would someone want his attention at this time, Ced was already gone, who else would it be? Then came another knock, this time more aggressive. Well, it looked like he didn't have any other option but to open the door before it got annoying. He walked to the door and opened it. To his surprise, he was met with his daughter, Fee. She looked worried about something, not that he cared, but there was nothing else he could do but to listen to her now.
"Where is Cedsy?" Fee said, she sounded a lot more panicked than she seemed, "It's been a while since he told me he'd talk with you. I have looked everywhere, where is he now?"
"Oh, Ced? I sent him off to Thracia again. Don't worry about him, he'll be fine."
"A-Again!? What were you thinking? He just got back!" Fee yelled, and then immediately covered her mouth.
"Yeah, well I needed him to do something there, besides you will be fine without him."
"B-But-" Fee tried to say, but she stopped herself as if she realized there was no use, she only sighed afterwards and turned around, facing the door. She walked towards it with no further comments.
"Fee, wait," Lewyn said, making her turn around, "Have you seen Julia anywhere? I haven't seen her in a while. She was always stuck to you, so you must know where she is, right?"
"O-Oh Julia? I-I haven't seen her at all, I'm a little worried," Fee said, it was obvious that she was stuttering, but that would explain her looking so worried a few moments ago.
"Hmmm, I see, perhaps she went off somewhere, it's only natural for someone like her to do so."
"Yeah, that must be it! Well if that answers your question I'll leave now," Fee said and left the room.
Huh, strange of her to do that, but no matter, she wasn't of importance right now. Closing the door he began to go back to his desk, before he realized something. Something important, something that shook him slightly.
Julia escaped didn't she?
Well there goes that plan, it was starting to get somewhere too. Perhaps letting his children keep her was a bit too much of a bad idea. Human minds liked interaction, only natural.
He wasn't going to mention that though, it didn't herald any meaning to do so. He should just keep quiet, because really, he couldn't rely on Julia, the heiress to Naga, to do everything for him.
He knew the other worlds all too well, she'd do it anyway, it would save him the pain of going to war with Grannvale to just have her kill Loptyr. It was merely a fateful encounter that gave him the idea, so doing nothing once more would give him better things to think of. Humans were so naive to what was happening, so laughable.
With all that in mind, and Julia gone, he began to set his next plan into motion.
It looked like it was time to get the Friege children, Arthur and Tinni involved in this.
