Cecilia sat up with wide eyes and looked around. She was on her bed. Trembling, she remembered falling asleep. She glanced at the empty area of the bed where Captain Hook usually slumbered. Tears formed in Cecilia's eyes for a few seconds. Cecilia started to remember occasionally falling asleep in her betrothed's arms. How she often smiled with him. How safe she seemed to be near Captain Hook.

Was Captain Hook going to protect Cecilia if he searched for Peter Pan in order to capture him? Cecilia wondered if her dream predicted the future. Anything seemed possible.

Then again, Captain Hook sometimes refused to let his betrothed join him while he searched. She attempted to remember the reasons.
His previous words were suddenly remembered.

''Peter Pan sometimes enjoys playing pranks near me. Cruel pranks. I managed to avoid falling into a pit recently. One snare trap.''

What else did Captain Hook mention? Territorial animals.

Cecilia had no idea where Captain Hook was. There was always the thought that he was never going to return to her another time. A thought that always caused tears to run down her face. She couldn't bear the idea of remaining in solitude. At least Captain Hook always came back from his searches. If he didn't? Glowering, she attempted to focus on other things.

Eyes began to settle on more than a handful of stuffed animals near the bed. The animals Captain Hook bought for her recently. Animals to keep Cecilia company if he refused to let her join him as he attempted to capture his enemy. Were they going to replace Captain Hook?

Tears formed in Cecilia's eyes before she stood.

Cecilia had to locate Captain Hook. Even if she was in his arms for a few seconds. Just as long as she was safe with the man she loved.

Cecilia smiled the minute Captain Hook appeared.
