Chapter 9

Xing went to bed that night after being shown the room. The moment he walked in, a moment of observation allowed him to notice the window was a quick way out. It led into the courtyard before the school, from there he will escape and make his way to Hong Kong. 'Screw the binding vow, the moment I get out of here, the sooner I get what I want!' he thought.

He announced he was going to bed for the night, and got ready, he had to wait for everyone else to be in bed before he made his escape, yet still, as the night wore on, he couldn't help but feel he wasn't alone in the room.

By 2 in the morning, he sensed everyone was asleep. It was time to go!

Xing snickered as he slipped out from under the covers, he was about to put his foot on the floor when it hit something rather fuzzy. He paused to it. "There's no carpet in this room…" he muttered.

Then a pair of glowing yellow eyes stared at him from the shadows!

His eyes adjusted as he stood face to face with a massive wolf! "What… the… hell…" he whispered fearfully.

The wolf didn't appear aggressive, once Xing went back into bed, the wolf settled and appeared to fall back asleep!

"They put a wolf in my room? Is this some sort of hazing?" he whispered.

But he didn't sleep much for the rest of the night.

When the morning came, the wolf vanished into the shadows. Xing snapped out of bed and rushed out of the room, the others were already awake and eating breakfast. "You look scared shitless…" Suiryu said offhandedly.

"There… there was a massive wolf in my room!" he protested. "How… why… I mean… HOW?!"

Fushiguro looked to him oddly. "You always have a wolf in your room. You asked me to leave one there for you remember?"

"I… did?"

He nodded with a serious look on his face. "Ever since you came here, you haven't been too fond of the dark. So, I offered a wolf, you didn't hesitate. I've been leaving that one in the room every night for you."

'Shit just got complicated' Xing thought. He smiled it off and laughed a little. "I'm over my fear now, you don't have to do it anymore" he said.

"If you insist…"

He was thankful there was no argument on the notion. Also, the fridge was refilled from the night before. He was finally able to eat something! But once more, his lack of cooking skills were rather noticeable. He merely cracked a few eggs into a pan and had those. The problem was this body needed more than two eggs as a meal. He would eat some, but then want more. Then another helping… then another… He would eat a whole carton by the end of it all!

"What's with you?" Nobara demanded. "And since when do you eat eggs?"

"Huh?"

"You hate eggs." Muttered Fushiguro. "So much so, you threw out a carton of them one time. I don't know the reason…"

"It touched his stuff in the fridge," Suiryu said offhandedly. "Anyway, maybe he got over that as well. Who knows at this point?"

"Whatever, either way. You better be making something good tonight. Stir fry doesn't cut it around here" warned Nobara.

She left the room shortly after along with Fushiguro. Suiryu smiled but it quickly vanished as his glare came upon Xing. He opened his demon eyes and began to look at him oddly. "What the fuck is with you, brat?" he demanded. "You lack control over your arms, you are MAKING their dinner on purpose…"

He froze to the news. "You made me cook last night too, you know"

"That's because I am the one that gets away with it. Next time, tell them to fuck off and make it themselves!" Suiryu demanded. "Now… about Satoru, what's your plan?"

He finished off his eggs before thinking it over. "It's hard to get around his infinite ability. I would really have to catch him off guard won't I?"

Suiryu nodded. "Not to mention he's always got his guard up. But it's lowered towards you, after all. You are a teacher's pet."

Xing paused. The boy is a suck up to his teachers?

He sneered at the notion. "I suppose I am…" he said and forced a smile. "But now, how do I use that against him?"

"That's for you to figure out. Stick to the plan, and not a word about this to anyone, understood?"

He nodded sternly to the demand. "Good." Suiryu slowly stood up out of the chair. "It's best we keep this… brotherly relationship going… so don't be alarmed to my actions,"

"Do whatever needs to be done to keep this going, I won't let the others know," Xing whispered back.

Suiryu smiled. "I knew I influenced you well…" he patted him on the shoulder and left the room. Xing took a deep breath; this job was a lot more difficult than it appears to be.

No matter.

He will continue to survey the area, and then he will work on a back up plan. "Like hell I am going to fall to a binding vow with Sukuna… I suppose the next best plan it to take a new body for myself… If I get Gojo, I just have to bring this one back to Hong Kong, the dragon will still be within it… still… something isn't right about this. I heard the demon vessel was powerful, but I don't feel any of that."

He decided to start his investigation.

Strolling around the school grounds, he got a basic idea as to where everything was. Yet he realized the buildings have shifted from the night before. "So the place is alive in a sense… damn it" he muttered. He saw some of the second years not too far, he smiled and waved at them when the young woman with short dark blackish green cropped hair confronted him. "Did you forget already Itadori?" she demanded. He didn't realized how scarred this woman was either! She must have seen some tough battles to say the least.

"What?"

"You were suppose to spar with me today" she said in a stern tone. "I don't take kindly to slackers, got it!"

'Shit, I should have avoided them,' but he smiled. "Actually. I am a little hazy from yesterday… my mind isn't all that prepared for a spar session… who are you again?"

"Playing dumb are we? So be it, I'll let it go this time, but next time… you and me are going to spar. Don't forget, you promised to help Panda too."

"Panda?"

"Itadori! You're finally awake!"

Xing was taken aback when he saw the massive creature behind this woman suddenly appear. 'Shit, it's an actual panda…' he thought to himself.

"Uh, yes, the moment I am feeling better. I will certainly be working with my Senpai" he said in as honest of a tone as he could.

He turned his back to them, but felt something was happening. Something dropped. Slowly he turned and saw one student sigh aloud as he dropped a rice ball.

"Shit!" he shouted…
