Chapter 12

No one in the kitchen moved.

Not even Suiryu. "What… the… fuck…" he said in a very slow and uncertain tone.

"Hey guys! Sorry about this Suiryu…"

"YUUJI?!" Suiryu shouted. "HOW!?" He demanded. "How the hell are you doing this?!"

There came a pause. "Uh… I don't know either. Ryujin was just telling me to try something and it worked… it's weird. Sukuna did this to me all the time… Hey Nobara! Hey Fushiguro!"

"Hey…" Nobara said with an uncertain tone.

"I just wanted to update everyone. We're about half way done getting the souls out of this guy and liberating them. At the same time, you guys are awesome for tormenting him… but you need to up it."

Suiryu smiled wickedly. "Oh, do we now?"

"I got to admit, that was awesome when Inumaki made him shit his pants! Thanks for replacing my clothing too,"

"How much longer Yuuji? You've only been at this for two days!" asked Nobara.

"I don't know, some of the souls are harder to get than others and we need to be careful. But I know we will be done soon. Just make sure to keep tormenting him and also ensure he doesn't escape!"

"No problem bro," Suiryu vowed. "Stay safe too,"

With that, the mouth vanished. Suiryu kept rubbing his hand over where it was, making certain it was indeed gone. "That must be damn annoying with Sukuna did that to him…"

"It was twice as creepy," Fushiguro muttered. "So, up our game huh? What are the rules to flesh ball then?"

BASH!

He stumbled, rolled and was thrown about with such ease! There was no fighting back, how could he? This body refuses to unleash curse energy, hell the divine power he felt in this body was weak too! 'How… how is this child so strong if the elders couldn't beat him in a duel?!' Xing thought.

Six eyes was no joke either. He stood before him, not even breaking a sweat from the hours on end of training. "Are you done already Itadori? It's only been three hours"

He sneered and turned away. "It appears I am still no match for you sensei…" he said reluctantly.

"I know, ever since the incident, you haven't been at full power…"

Incident?

Xing suddenly became all ears. "Sensei, my head is a little fuzzy on that. What happened? What incident?"

He was taken aback. "You don't remember? The whole reason why you took Sukuna's power for yourself? You need to feed the dragon!" he stated.

'Feed the dragon? The elders never said anything about this…'

"Feed it sensei?" He asked.

He nodded and leaned down. "It's why we take you out to hunt curses every so often, if you don't take enough curse energy, the dragon starts eating you from the inside, taking your own energy to sustain itself…"

'Shit, the elders never said this!' he thought once more.

"Then… perhaps I need some curse energy then…"

Satoru nodded. "Let's do that then,"

The odd domain he made went down, the moment it did, Satoru smiled. "Let's head out then…"

"Head out?"

"Well, we don't have enough curse energy here to sustain a dragon, we got to go hunt it! So let's go!"

'A chance to escape too… yet at the same time if I don't sustain the dragon, I may as well die before reaching Hong Kong…'

He decided to follow Satoru for the time being, he won't leave until he know for certain every detail he needs to memories in order to maintain this body and prevent the dragon from devouring him!

"Are you coming Itadori?"

"Oh, yes, I'm coming…"

#

He was led to the shady underbelly of Tokyo. Satoru insisted this is where some strong curses like to hide due to the underhanded business deals that go down here. Looking about Xing was already sensing curses, before he wasn't able to but now, he could. "So… what happens next?" he asked.

Satoru paused. "We go hunting… and it looks like I found our first victim…"

It was like a flash.

His eyes couldn't follow and yet he was gone one moment and reappeared the next. In his grasp squirmed a curse. Not really a threat to anyone unless it feeds. Yet Satoru was grinning as he presented it to him. "Here you go!"

Xing was confused at first as he took the curse from him. "Uh… thanks…" he said with great uncertainty, he knew that he wasn't mean to kill it. After all, Six Eyes was smiling a wicked grin. "What?" he asked.

"Aren't you going to eat it?"

He froze.

Eat… a curse? He does know those things a poisonous right? From curses to curse object, anything anyone has consumed by these things will die! "Eat… it? Uh… sensei, they aren't meant to be eaten…"

He was confused. "Coming from my top student that devoured twenty in a single sitting?"

Wait, the demon vessel… he ATE curses to maintain himself?

This job was becoming far more unpleasant.

"Eat… them… Uh… sure… thank you for the meal…" he said in a nervous tone. His eyes peered down at the curse squirming in his hands. Perhaps the only merciful thing to do would be to kill it first.

He was about to, when Satoru stopped him. "Whoa, what are you doing? You eat them alive!" he protested.

Xing felt sick. "A… alive?" he muttered.

"Yes, alive, if you kill it now, you dispel the curse energy. You need to eat it alive in order to gain it… really Itadori, how much did you get your head busted in?"

He forced a smile and stared down at the curse once more. It was the least bit appealing, the head alone looked like a penis! Yet he has to keep up his appearance. Closing his eyes, he shoved the curse into his mouth. It screeched aloud as he tried to shove the rest in, but it struggled and resisted him. In fact, it squirmed out and made a run for it!

"Dude, you have fangs for a reason!"

Checking his teeth, his tongue rolled over the canines; they somehow grew longer and sharper in a short time, but that growth since receded. 'I see, his teeth grow out when he's about to consume a curse…' he thought.

"We better go find another one then. Maybe you just need something bigger?"

"Bigger?" he muttered.

They would spend hours hunting. Xing was disgusted with himself when he consumed his first curse. They tracked the one Six Eyes had found before and were able to recapture it. He forced himself to consume the disgusting thing and even made a face after the deed was done. Satoru was only smiling. "Good, one down, let's go until you're full!"

Xing didn't understand the method; he would just tell Satoru one was enough, until his stomach ached for more!

'The demon vessel… actually consumes curses? No one said anything about that… how is it possible, this would be like eating poison day in and out!' he thought. Not to mention, no matter how many he ate afterwards, he never felt this energy shift or go into the dragon that is within this body.

Nothing in his boy's physiology made sense!

They finished in three hours, the last curse drifted down his throat, twice his own size and yet contained in this boy's body! When he felt the last of it slink down this throat, Xing was done. He couldn't take anymore of it.

"I'm full…" he said weakly. "Sensei… I wan to go back to school…" he never thought he would hear those words come out of his mouth.

Luckily Satoru agreed. It was getting late now. "I think we have trained enough for today. Let's go back then."

He was relieved.

They were silent going back, Xing began to think over his next move, everything was getting more and more complicated!

'This boy is not normal, the needs to maintain the body are truly odd, not to mention complicated. I will have to feed off of curses to maintain the dragon within? But I also sense divine energy in this boy too, why can't I gain both? Perhaps there is another reasoning. Not to mention, this binding vow with Sukuna… there is no way to get out of it until the task before me is done. Yet, after training with Six Eyes, there is no way I can defeat him in my current state…'

"Itadori!"

He jumped as he found Satoru suddenly in his face once more. "Oh, sorry, just thinking…"

"Well good for you on that, we did well today but will have to go out again tomorrow to maintain the dragon. You got to work up your appetite too"

"Wait, I have to go hunt curses again tomorrow?"

Six Eyes peered at him oddly. "Do you want to live? If you do, you need to hunt. If not… the dragon devours your soul!"

He froze.

No one mention that about the dragon either. But then again, it does explain the rumors he heard about the Tooru family, no one except for a rare few lasted more than five years holding on to the dragon. Was this the reason?

The dragon could be far more dangerous than he thought… then again, if he allows the divine oracle to obtain it, he can let them deal with the consequences of the dragon before he take it back. Allow the dragon to feed and take its fill before he absorbs it back into him…

But that he will consider another time, for the moment, it's best of focus on what's before him. He knows now he cannot leave the body, even if he were to swap with Gojo, destroying Gojo in this vessel won't be easy. Despite the boy's power not being up to par with Six Eyes, Xing knows it can take the hit. Which would give Satoru a chance to counter.

Switching is no longer part of the plan.

Not to mention, the other notion was to swap with Sukuna himself… but him obtaining the power of the dragon… he would cause the end of the world! It would be foolish to think it would even be a feasible plan! No, he would have to destroy Sukuna before he leaves for Hong Kong. Eliminating him will break the biding vow… but there's a catch, Sukuna wouldn't be that foolish now would he? The fact that he has to put up an act and pretending to be 'good' before everyone, only makes him believe that he isn't that powerful yet… meaning the students or even Satoru himself are capable of killing him!

He will use whatever he can to his advantage!

They arrived back at the school.

Xing was tired from the day and opted to go to bed straight away. As he entered the dorms, he heard the orange hair girl yell out. "Where's dinner?!"

He turned and sneered at her. "Make it yourself, I am too tired for this,"

"Huh? You breaking our agreement then?" she demanded.

"Whatever!" he snapped back.

She shrugged. "Okay, you brought this upon your self. Megumi and I will go back to pranking you."

"I don't care," Xing said with a growl to his voice. "I am going to bed!"

His hand reached for the knob. He barely opened the door when suddenly a wave of rabbits came out! Xing was carried out of the dorms, outside and into the courtyard!

The rabbits vanished as he appeared confused to it all. "What the hell was that?!" he demanded. Picking himself from the ground he stormed back into the dorm. Nobara was snickering at him as he glared at her. He wrenched open the door… only to be flooded out by rabbits again!

"OH COME ON!" he protested. Left with little choice, he went in through the window. His room clear of rabbits for the time being, yet he wondered, where they came from and how so many got into his room!?
