Chapter 19

"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck…." Suiryu muttered as he rushed his way towards Yuuji. The moment he saw that cuff, he panicked just as Ryujin appeared concerned.

Instantly he got on his knees and was doing various jujutsu over Itadori's body. Gojo was concerned as well as he felt the energy shift. "What the hell is that?" he demanded of Suiryu.

"Not now, got to get that asshole out of him before something happens!" Suiryu snapped back.

Kitsune was at his side, as he did jujutsu on one side, she was doing something else with fire on her end. They were working feverishly, just as Itadori's body began to emit something off as well. "Come on, get that fucker out of you!" Suiryu said in an encouraging tone.

"GAH!"

The body pulsed, as if something detonated within. Blood gushed out of his mouth until Yuuji began to cough it up, but his eyes slowly opened. "Young master?!" Kitsune asked with worry.

"He… blew up…" Yuuji said weakly. "Why… did he do that?"

Gojo was quick to see for himself what happened. With his blindfold off he peered at Itadori. He looked unharmed for the most part, but with what his eyes saw was anything but. All over his body were cracks. Black lines that began to spread farther up and around him. "Yuuji…" Gojo whispered.

"Sensei… is everything okay?"

Suiryu even stepped back as he must have seen what Gojo was seeing. "Oh shit…" he muttered.

Kitsune herself fell silent. "What happening?" Yuuji asked again as he tried to sit up.

Suiryu instantly eased him back down again. "Not so fast… that asshole blew himself up in you… no… he didn't do that… those fuckers!" Suiryu protested.

"The divine school put a self destruct device on him, didn't they?" Gojo asked.

Suiryu nodded. "They must have done it as a fail safe. The guy was a disposable pawn, still… they planned on destroying Yuuji to get the dragon out of him…"

"But… I'm okay…" Yuuji said weakly, as he coughed up more blood.

Suiryu shook his head to him. "No, you are not." He sighed aloud and appeared flustered with it all. "Goddamn it…." He muttered.

"Suiryu…" Yuuji said weakly. Everyone peered down and found him smiling. "I'm okay…"

He passed out shortly after with a smile on his face.

Gojo turned to Kitsune and Suiryu who were worried. "These cracks…" he said as he pointed to Itadori.

Kitsune nodded. "They cannot heal by traditional means. It was a surge of energy that his body had no time to prepare for to absorb… so it overwhelmed him." She said gently. "As such, it has damaged the body. His energy is slowly leaking out of him, and if it does not repair soon… it would be the equivalent of a human bleeding out."

"These wounds cannot be healed with reverse jujutsu, I've already tried," Suiryu explained. "This is divine pain being inflicted, and yet, Kitsune couldn't heal the wounds either." He shook his head to it all. "I've never seen damage like this before."

"What do we do then?" Gojo asked. He didn't want to admit, but he could see Itadori's power seeping out of these cracks. It was slow at first, and yet as time passed, the wounds would grow and more would leak out of him.

"We have to heal the body somehow…" Suiryu muttered. "If we don't do something, Yuuji is in great danger…"

"For now, Young master needs rest." Kitsune announced. She waved her fan over him, making Itadori vanish before everyone's eyes.

"Sensei… Suiryu… is Yuuji okay?" asked Fushiguro.

Gojo turned and smiled to them. "Of course he is, it's OUR Itadori after all!" he lied. It was the only thing he could do, after all, they all agreed to let Yuuji be possessed by this man. Had they not, he wouldn't have been wounded the way he was. He has to ensure the students don't know until it's absolutely necessary. "He's just a little knocked out, that's all. We ought to clean this place up too…"

They nodded in agreement, just as Eso, Tanso and Junpei appeared. "We got all the equipment away… did we miss the guy getting kicked out of Yuuji?" Junpei asked.

"Yeah, just missed it. How about you guys head home for now. Bro is tired out from today."

This took the three aback, but Eso nodded. "Sure, we'll come by and visit him when he is more rested…"

They were uncertain to leave, perhaps they felt something was wrong with Yuuji? Gojo didn't know how this brotherly connection worked with the curse wombs, but all he knew was that his Itadori is in danger.

But didn't know if there was something that can do to help him.
