The feeling of warmth hit the cheek of Estella. The brightness from the sky shining through her window as she slowly rose from her slumber. The day had finally come. No more waiting. No more time to change her mind and tell her parents she didn't want to go. One long sigh escaped her lips as she stood up. Heading for the shower, she grabbed a towel and got prepared for the next couple years.

On the other side of Vale, Ronan hadn't really been able to sleep much. The curtains to his room closed and unwavering. Blocking out the light of the day. Thoughts ran through his head as he sat in bed. Ronan had pushed his brother to the edge and without his family to control him, things really did get out of control. Constantly out late at night. Doing shady back alley deals for people he didn't know. Problems with Vale Police over and over again. It was really only a matter of time before it caught up with him. Now, he'd be heading to Beacon Academy. The last place he'd want to end up. Being a Huntsman requires too much of a person. The constant willingness to protect people. The feeling of being watched almost all the time. He'd rather not deal, but without much choice in the matter, he'd shove his belongings into a suitcase and get ready for what's next.

In the final days before Signal students head off to Beacon, they are given advice by the Professors and the few that are deemed ready are chosen. This year of course it was an easy decision. The top five ranked students would get to go with no problems, but the professors would get to decide which extra student would get to go. This year, it would Ms. Hestia Clay. A lucky opportunity to go, as no other student at Signal thought she'd even be in the running. Another step gained by the fair skinned girl. Proving people wrong once more. Though, the number one ranked student, Tethys, would be joining her. Not to mention, the strong, but silent, Terra Admon as well. Those two were something else, when compared to the rest. Hestia was often starstruck by them, wishing to be better than them. All three gathered their belongings and headed off towards the airship, prepared for a more intense level of training.

Ronan seemed to be the last to arrive at the station to board the airship. His brother was right next to him, making sure to see him off. He clearly couldn't leave and he knew boarding this ship could change him entirely, but with no choices left, he turned to Callum. "Well, I guess this is the last time I'll see you for a while." He said it sarcastically.

"You made your bed, Ronan. This is what Mom and Dad would have wanted for you." He shook his head. "Oh, if you happen to speak to Headmaster Phoenix, tell him I said hello." Callum patted Ronan on the shoulder before walking away. Left with that note, Ronan boarded the ship. He was surprised by the amount of students on the ship. Knowing not much about Beacon, he assumed only a handful of people would get to go. There must have been at least twenty people, including himself. He spotted a tall boy, standing over in a corner, his burly frame and dark hair making him distinct. Not to mention the giant sword strapped to his back. Ronan took note of him, but quickly turned his attention away. He spotted a light skinned girl sitting next to a pile of stuff. Clearly, she seemed stuck in her own world, cleaning her weapon out in the open. He was just trying to look for a quiet spot to think, but this overactive girl was bouncing from person to person, asking question after question. Not wanting to be bothered, he tried walking over to an empty spot he saw. Only inches away, that girl walked up to him.

"Hi! I'm Hestia! And you are?" The girl forwarded a hand in the direction of Ronan. Uninterested, he tried to continue walking, being stopped as the girl was still in front of him, not moving. It would seem as if this was some forced conversation.

"Ronan." He simply said his name and tried to move past her, but she was persistent in having a conversation.

"That's a cool name! Do you have a cool weapon?" A forward question to ask someone you've only just met. A question Ronan had no intention of answering.

"Nope." Another one word response from the boy's lips. His demeanor told her he didn't want to speak, too bad for him, another hyperactive kid walked up. He was a short kid with some kind of tail. A Faunus. Rare in Vale of all places, but not fearful.

"Yeah, I bet he doesn't have some sort of cool weapon, he looks pretty lame to me!" The Faunus kid insults Ronan, making him turn his head in his direction.

"What did you just call me?!" The redheaded boy didn't take too kindly to even minor insults.

"I said you're lame! That dark red jacket looks shoddy at best and you look like you have showered in days!" The Faunus kid continued on, making fun of Ronan and how he looked, causing Ronan to reach for his weapon. The stoic, burly man noticed from across the room and made his way over slowly. The small boy reached to his side and equipped one of his weapons. A glove that has talons on the fingertips.

"You'll never be as good as a wolf Faunus, NEVER!" He laughed in the face of Ronan who was moments away from decking the small boy. Terra got in the middle and forced them to break it up. He pushed Ronan away and towards his corner.

"He's not worth it."
