Chapter 27

Why weren't they doing this?

After the warning, and knowledge of the fifth hand. Suiryu has found that none of the other sorcerers at the school were actively searching for the possessions of Ryomen Sukuna. Objects that could return him to the world of the living, and yet they have gone unfound or ignored by the elders.

He took matters into his own hands.

Suiryu began to comb through the memories of the bastards, those he can still obtain, and yet, as of late, he finds the gap in his knowledge starting to widen. He hasn't told anyone of this yet, he didn't want to cause a panic. Yet at the same time, he wondered why he couldn't recall certain events, faces or even when Sukuna learned a new ability.

He was grateful though that he still retains all that is needed for jujutsu, but for the moment, he will at least take one possession of Sukuna's. Of all the places to come, he traveled to the Hida Province, over 300Km from Tokyo. It was mainly farm land with a few small towns in between. But there was one area he was drawn to.

There was a vast mountain range, within a dense forest. Suiryu felt he has taken this path before, but he hasn't. This was all in the memories he obtained from the demonic sorcerer. He came to the largest of the mountains and paused before it. Already he sensed a massive amount of curse energy coming from it. "He was a feudal lord in his time… but was he really that cunning to do this?"

There was no other choice, Suiryu approached the mountain and began to sense the base. Looking for the 'door' in. He let out a small amount of his own curse energy until he felt something hallow from one of his scans. The door he was looking for was just above him in a cave.

"Huh, found that faster than I thought…" He climbed the mountainside a short distance from where he once stood. Standing before the cave, he instantly felt the curse energy. With a deep breath, he walked through the invisible door. Instantly, he felt as if he stepped back in time. Yet the first thing to greet him was a massive statue of the asshole himself. His true form and all guarded the entrance in. "Vein bastard…" Suiryu muttered. But then paused as he peered down at himself. Just passing through the door he was now wearing Sukuna's robe!

"What the hell… whatever, I ain't keeping this on for much longer…" Just as he passed the statue, Suiryu look in the land. It was just like outside, a lush and large village and yet in the middle of it all, a massive temple that was in pristine condition. The houses were old, over 1,000 years old. "What is this place…"

He paused once more as he saw people walking out and about. They were frail looking, and yet the moment they saw him, tears of joy came out of them. "THE LORD RETURNS! THE LORD RETURNS!" someone shouted with utter glee.

There had to be about a thousand people before him, mainly men and women who were weeping with great joy. "Lord Sukuna… we waited for you… you promised to return and you came back to us!" one woman cried.

'The asshole left people here… to have to worship him when he came back!?' Suiryu thought. He was disgusted with the notion, yet sighed aloud to these poor souls. They were never allowed to leave this place, they know nothing of the outside world.

"Lord, what is your command?" one man asked as the people prostrated before him.

He wondered if it would work. He smiled to the people and said. "I want you to enjoy your eternal rest." He said gently.

This took the people by surprise. "Rest… my lord?" one whispered in shock.

He nodded to them. "You have served me well, and it's about time that service is rewarded. I want you to rest, everyone here." He insisted.

Their tears fell once more as smile came over their faces. "Such a merciful lord…" they collapsed to the ground, and turned to dust.

Suiryu sighed aloud as he looked over this place. "If anything… we could live here…" he thought aloud. But drastic changes will need to be made.

As he began to think over what to do, the world itself trembled. He didn't notice it that much, but the moment he began to think, the land reacted. He paused to it for a moment. "Wait… do I have that create ability here?" he turned to one of the shacks, snapping his fingers the house broke down and disappeared. But then he began to envision a new building, like the dorms back at school. Bricks, metal and materials began to form before him, until the dorm was created in a matter of minutes!

"Ah, so I do have that ability here… Hmm… Perhaps I can make some drastic changes here…"

Hours would pass.

Suiryu paused to his work as he looked over the land. Everything was upgraded and modernized to his liking. The massive temple in the middle of it all remained and yet he wondered what to use it for. "I ain't living in that…" he muttered. But it has a use no doubt.

He kept the layout of the school as best he could, there were dorms, work spaces, hospital, study room, libraries everything he could think of. And the farther one goes from this space, brings them to the farming land. "Sanso is going to freak when he sees this… We're almost self sufficient here…"

There was one final detail he needed to tend to. He approached the entrance again and looked at the giant statue of Sukuna before him. He sneered at it. Before destroying it to bits! "Need something more appealing at the front door here… for now. I think this will do."

He won't speak of this just yet to the others, this will be their bug out base should anything happen at the school. For some reason, Suiryu kept stopping and staring at the mountain as he left it. Thinking perhaps it would be best to go into hiding sooner than later. "I can just feel something is about to happen… and it won't be pretty…" he muttered to himself.

But the question he asked himself, would anyone beside Yuuji and the brothers go with them?

He paused as he peered over himself, apparently the robe manifests when he enters the mountain. "I'll deal with that later…" he muttered. It was time to go back and check on Yuuji.
