A/N – This story has nothing to do with Infinity wars even though Thanos makes an appearance.
Chapter 7
Thor arrived with Loki as the others looked on with mixed emotions however, none were more furious than Tony and Steve.
"You! It was you who did this to my sister!" Tony shouted.
"No, but he said it was someone called The Other who summoned those beings the leader he knows not the identity of." Thor replied.
Loki glanced down at the blood on the floor his expression changed drastically then.
"What are you looking at?" Tony demanded as Loki turned his attention toward Tony.
"This was not my doing do not dare to turn your fury on me, human." Loki remarked.
"I'll do more than that she's my flesh and blood my baby sister, and if she dies, I will seek out everyone who is to blame for it." Tony vowed.
Silence...
"And, he isn't the only one." Steve added as Tony's gaze went to Steve.
"Vengeance, how sweet." Loki mused as he suddenly flew against the wall.
Everyone turned seeing Wanda using her powers against Loki.
"It's NOT funny or amusing she's my friend." Wanda said with firmly.
Loki just stared wide eyed at the female Avenger who was furious with him.
"I told you brother all I knew call off your human friends." Loki ordered.
Thor didn't move or say a word. Tony Stark was Thor's friend regardless of the misunderstanding that they had at their first meeting. Loki abruptly didn't feel so confident and lost his arrogance rather quickly then.
"You know something..." Wanda said as she was reading him.
Loki merely smirked, until Wanda sent him flying against another wall.
"You all are beneath me!" Loki yelled as Bruce walked up.
"Do you remember the last time you said that to the other guy?" Bruce asked.
Silence...
"Yeah, you got your ass pretty much handed to you." Bruce remarked.
Loki was silent.
"Fine, miserable dull creatures." Loki mumbled.
"A being known as the Red Skull is working with The Other but they work for someone else." Loki remarked sourly.
Silence...
"Red Skull?" Steve said.
"Yes, and he would be the one who has the cure for her." Loki stated.
"Why should we believe you?" Fury demanded.
This question only made Loki laugh.
"You tell me, human." Loki asked as his gaze fell on Melinda.
"Where is he?" Steve demanded.
Loki told them but everyone knew they'd have to be careful it was a trap and they knew it.
