Nick Fury rallied a lot more allies to help retrieve the cure for Melinda but Tony and War Machine and Steve along with Wanda already took off for the cure. Nick Fury stayed with Melinda and made sure she was protected.
With the others...
Red Skull hadn't counted on the rage from Tony Stark nor Captain America. So, even though, it was supposed to be a trap they were too fired up with fury and turned the tables on Red Skull at that moment.
"The cure... NOW!" Tony ordered.
Once he had the cure he turned toward Vision and handed it to him.
"Get this to Fury so he can give it to my sister we've got unfinished here." Tony said as Vision nodded and left.
After Vision left unfortunately things took a turn for the worst...

Vision appeared.
"The cure." He replied.
"Alright let's get Stark's sister cured." Fury said as Maria Hill looked on as he gave the cure to Tony's sister.
Vision watched as well and when the cure wasn't doing completely working. He had an idea.
"I have an idea the same thing that saved Mr. Stark could do the same thing to Melinda." Vision said.
Silence at first...
"But this is a totally different situation it could kill her." Maria remarked.
"No, I do not believe so," Vision said as Fury helped Vision get what was needed.
"You better be right." Fury replied.
Fury and Vision worked feverishly on Melinda and it took some time but Vision's idea slowly started to work.
"It's working." Fury and Hill said totally shocked.
Vision stared off and Fury realized he had seen something.
"What is it?" Fury asked.
"Mr. Stark and the others are in danger." Vision replied urgently as Melinda opened her eyes wearily.
"Tony and Steve are in trouble?" she asked.
"Yes." Vision answered.
"Let me help them." She begged.
"Out of the question!" Fury shouted.
"He's my brother I'm going." She insisted.
"Those powers are gone." Fury replied.
"I don't need them." She remarked as she turned toward Vision. "Do I?" she urged as Vision smiled seeing how much she was like her brother.
"Come with me." Vision stated.
Melinda smirked, and stuck her tongue at Fury.
"She's a stark." Hill mused.
"So, I noticed." Fury answered with a laugh.
Where the others are...
Everyone was beaten back as they glared up at their foe. The Hulk was still fighting though and it amused their foe.
"I told you they were tough." Loki mumbled.
"They won't be for long for I will triumph in the end for I am..." he never got to finish because blasts like Ironman used in his palms hit him sending him flying against the wall.
Tony glanced up not sure who was in the Ironman armor but along with that was Vision.
"Wait, who's in the Ironman suit?" Tony asked as their foe got up and charged who had fought him.
"I am Thanos you can not defeat me!" he roared as tried to attack but was thrown into a portal by another hero Dr. Strange.
"Who are you?" Tony asked as he learned who was inside the armor...his sister.
Vision explained what had to be done to save her along with the cure.
"So, your who?" Tony asked.
"Well, how about Irongirl?" she said with a grin as he hugged her.
"You almost gave me a heart attack!" he yelled.
"Sorry, I'm sorry for scaring you. I was wrong and you were right." She said as Tony just held her.
"I love you." Tony whispered.
"I love you too, bro." she said softly.
"Your turn, Cap." Tony replied as Steve held her too.
"I love you so much." Steve replied.
"I love you too." Melinda whispered.
Melinda got to be an Avenger like she dreamed of being helping her brother and boyfriend and friends.
