It was 2 weeks later, Katara 4 weeks pregnant. Katara had constant pain, headaches and morning sickness. Bumi and Kya would often worry about Katara especially Kya would worry. But, because Bumi was now 11 years old he knew something was up, but every time Bumi would ask Katara would would just ask Bumi to leave.
"Aang, could you teach Kya today," Asks Katara putting her hand on Aang's cheek. "I'm just too tired and I have a headache." Says Katara. "Sure thing sweetie." Says Aang. "You are the best husband, Avatar Aang because, without you Kya could never learn water bending when I'm in this condition." Katara says. "I know, and you are the best wife an Avatar or even a man could ever ask for." Aang says smiling. Katara and Aang bud heads and giggle happily together and Aang kisses Katara as they rolled in the bed together. "Okay, so just tell me the things you have been working on with our little girl, before I go get her." Says Aang. "She has been doing great about pushing and pulling the tides and control the waves, so I guess it's just learning how to pass water to another water bender." Says Katara. "Okay, thanks sweetie." Aang says. "Yep." Katara says. Aang gives Katara a kiss and then gets out of bed. "Aang," Katara says. "Yes, sweetie?" Asks Aang. "Don't forget about Bumi, he has school today." Says Katara. "Katara, sweetie... relax I got this you just rest." Aang tells Katara. Katara smiles.
Aang gets his robe, shoes and pants off before waking Bumi up. "Bumi my son, come on it's time to wake up, you have school today." Says Aang. "Dad, where is Mom?" Asks Bumi. "Your mother is not feeling too well today." Says Aang. "Okay." Bumi says. "Okay, get dressed, get your stuff for school, then meet downstairs in the dining room for breakfast." Says Aang. "Okay." Bumi says. Bumi gets ready and grabs what he needs for school, and then comes downstairs to eat breakfast. Aang had made white rice, and had a apple, toast that Aang carefully fire bent himself with jelly and a small cup of tea, for breakfast out Aang made for Bumi and the name thing for Kya but instead of a whole apple the apple was cut into pieces for Kya and a cup of water. "Bumi, eat while I go get your sister." Aang says. "Okay." Says Bumi as he sit down at the table. Aang heads upstairs to Kya's room to wake her up. Kya hears the door open, wakes up and sits up. "Mommy?!" Ask Kya. It was dark and was hard to see who it was. "Nope, Kya hon it's me." Says Aang. "Hi, Daddy, where's mommy?" Asks Kya. "Mommy is not feeling good, I don't have any Avatar buissness things to attend to or anything, so today it's just going to be me and you." Says Aang. Kya smiles and stands up on the bed. Aang walks up to Kya and holds her and spins her around smiling. "Hey my little snow angel, how are you?!" Aang asks. "I'm good." Kya says. "You excited for your lessons?" Asks Aang. "Yeah!" Says Kya.
Aang asks Air Acolyte Xing Ying to take Bumi to the ferry docks. Aang and Kya eat breakfast and do Kya's water bending lessons later after Bumi left on the ferry. Kya tried so hard, Aang was super patient with Kya encouraging her. Kya would get frustrated each time she failed, but Aang would tell her all about his training when Katara would teach him nearly 15 years ago. By the end of the day, Kya and Aang mostly Kya showed Katara what Kya learned.
