It was 2 weeks later, Katara was now 16 weeks pregnant. Katara's pain kept getting worse and that again was not the end of it.
Katara gasps as she feels her baby quickening in the womb, then a small kick, and another each kick got worse the baby kicked 5 times it was painful. "Aang! Aang! Aang!" Shouts Katara. "Katara?!" Aang asks, shouting rushing to Katara. "Aang, help!" Shouts Katara. "Are you okay, sweetie what happened?!" Asks Aang worriedly. "The baby kicked really hard." Says Katara. "Can you get up?" Asks Aang. "Yes, but it hurts." Says Katara. Aang carries Katara to bed, laying her on the bed. Aang lays in bed next to Katara. "It's okay, sweetie, it's okay, you're gonna be alright." Says Aang as he combs through and plays with Katara's hair. "I know sweetie, I know." Says Katara. Aang holds Katara's hand and kisses her forehand. Aang kisses Katara.
"Can you teach Kya today and have the acolytes help look after me today when needed?" Asks Katara. "Sure thing, but what about, Bumi?" Asks Aang. "Well not only will you do the things I asked you to do, could you make breakfast and then send Bumi upstairs, please?" Asks Katara. Aang smiles and does as Katara had asked him. Bumi went upstairs to sit in his parents' bed, while Aang and Kya went to the beach to practice water bending. "Bumi, do you want to talk to the baby?" Asks Katara. "Yeah." Says Bumi. Bumi crawls over to Katara's baby bump. Katara smiles. "Hi baby, I'm your big brother, Bumi... someday after you come into the world, I will help mom and dad protect you, even if I don't have any powers." Bumi says. "Awe... Bumi you are so sweet." Says Katara smiling at Bumi. Bumi smiles back.
"Mom, I'm going to the kitchen to make us lunch, what do you want to eat?" Asks Bumi. "Kale cookies, papaya..." Katara says, until Bumi begins to interrupt her. "But, mom you hate papaya?!" Bumi shouts quietly with confusion. "Just getting me some please!" Katara says getting moody. "Okay, okay, what else do you want?" Asks Bumi. "Sorry, honey." Says Katara. "It's okay, what else would you like?" Says Bumi, asking. "Oh right, also here is a refresher... 3 kale cookies, papaya, a mango, white rice, dumplings and a salad." Says Katara. "Okay." Says Bumi. "Also Bumi when you use the stove or are cooking, don't forget to ask one of the acolytes for help." Says Katara. "Okay." Says Bumi.
Bumi finds an acolyte to help him and they make lunch. Then about half an hour later Bumi and one of the air acolytes had came upstairs with lunch for Katara and Bumi.
"Katara, how are you doing, do you need anything else?" Ask the acolyte. "I'm doing great thanks, Tian but, I'm good for now." Says Katara. "Okay." Says Tian. Katara and Bumi eat.
