It was 4 weeks later, Katara was 24 weeks pregnant.
It was a weekend, Aang and Katara had family time with Bumi and Kya, for the day. "Kya, do you want to say hi to your baby brother or sister?" Asks Aang. Katara smiles at Aang. Kya smiles. "Yeah, but how do I do that if you ate my baby brother or sister?" Asks Kya. Everyone laughs. "Kya, that's not how it works." Bumi says. "What works?" Asks Kya. "Mom did not eat our baby brother or sister, because that is not how babies are made or where they come from." Says Bumi. "Then how are babies made?" Asks Kya. Aang makes a face at Bumi signaling him not to say anything. "Umm... Dad." Bumi quickly says. "Okay, Kya... when a mommy and daddy get married they cuddle deeply and kiss a lot, but there is more to it than that, snowflake... and that you will learn when you older." Says Aang. "Okay, but can baby hear us?" Asks Kya. "Yes, but if you speak to your baby brother or sister they will hear you even better." Says Aang. Bumi shows Kya how to talk to the baby. "Hi baby, I'm your big sister Kya, and your big brother Bumi's little sister I'm very excited to meet you, and daddy hopes your an air bender just like me, but I don't bend air, I bend water." Says Kya. Kya kisses Katara's baby bump and lays her head there. Katara gasps as the baby kicks and Kya go jumpy. "Kya, hon did you feel that?" Asks Katara. "Yeah, did baby kick?" Asks Kya. "Yeah." Says Katara. "Kya, you want mom to have a boy or a girl?" Asks Bumi. "I want a girl!" Says Kya. "I don't care, as long as he or she is just healthy." Says Bumi. "Bumi you are just such a funny, sweet, and carefree spirit." Says Katara. "I know." Says Bumi. "I'm just glad we can be all be here together as a family." Aang says with his hands on Katara's baby bump, rubbing his hands and kissing Katara. "Mommy, Daddy!" Kya shouts in annoying voice of tone. Aang and Katara giggle. "Yeah, that is just giving Kya and myself the oogies!" Says Bumi. "Bumi?!" Shouts Katara. "What?" Asks Bumi. "Who taught you that word?!" Aang asks. "Uncle Sokka." Says Bumi. "Well, please never again use that word." Says Katara. "Yes Mom." Says Bumi.
Then out of no where and randomly Kya asks a question, "Mommy how did you meet Daddy?" Kya asks innocently. "Well it was 19 years ago, I got mad at Sokka, I lot it my bending got out of control as well that I ended up breaking an iceberg, but little did Sokka and I know who and what was in then, but then your father fell, and he woke up into my arms." Katara says. "Yeah and the we got into some trouble and we explored the world and the entire time I had a crush on your mother, but secretly I think she did too." Aang says. Kya and Bumi giggle. "Aang!" Katara shouts. "What?! It's the truth because you were always jealous." Says Aang. "So..." Katara says. "So, I could tell admit it sweetie, admit I'm right." Aang says blowing a soft breeze of wind at Katara's face. "Fine you're right." Says Katara. "So anyways, then on our journey we meet these nomads, who were going to help us get to Omashu, by going through a labyrinth called the cave of the two lovers, and wolf bats appear, Appa got spooked and ended up splitting us up and your mother was on the other side so I pushed her out of the way to save her and Appa was with us so Sokka was stuck with the nomads while your mother and I were together and later your mother realized the story and saw the two lovers kissing and the story said..." Aang says waiting for Katara to finish the sentence. "Love is brightest in the dark." Says Katara. "That the only way for us to escape, was to kiss, so we did and the lights guided us out, but then the day of the invasion I thought I wasn't going to make it and then she told me not to doubt myself but that was when I kissed her to make her shut up." Aang said giggling. "Yeah and then I spaced out." Said Katara. "But after the war and defeating Ozai I was outside your mother followed me, we smiled and looked at eachother, she hugged me, we got close and she kissed me, and the rest is history." Says Aang. "Yeah but then you propose 17 years ago and then we had Bumi a few years later then when Bumi was 8 we had you, Kya." Says Katara. "Wow!" Says Kya. "I know." Says Aang.
