Lou looked up at the night sky as another round of fireworks exploded in the air. She gasped at the splendor of the bright colors uninterrupted by clouds or trees. She looked over to her friends to see their reactions, but only one person was standing beside her.

"Where'd everybody go?" Lou asked Ravi, who was looking in the opposite direction of the fireworks.

"Oh," Ravi blinked. He looked around for their friends but didn't see anyone that he recognized at the park. "No idea."

There was another explosion and Lou turned quickly to see the display of purple and green glittering in the air. Her mouth hung open in awe. After another flash of colorful lights, she turned to Ravi's reaction. Again, he was gazing in the opposite direction.

"Why are you looking over there, Ravi? The show is this way," she said, pointing up at the sky.

Ravi glanced over his shoulder to see another burst of fireworks. "Oh, fireworks," he said blandly. He shrugged. "I suppose those are nice, though they're not the rockets I prefer. But…" He stepped closer to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder to guide her attention to the other direction. "...Draco. That's spectacular."

Lou glanced at Ravi's arm around her shoulder and tried not to burst into a fit of giggles from the contact. She instead focused on asking, "What? Some guy flying a plane up there?"

Ravi chuckled. He shook his head, "No, it's Draco, a constellation of stars. Really look."

Lou let out a quiet sigh. She would have rather been looking at the cool explosions in the sky, but she decided to give it a try. So, she looked up into the darkness. And suddenly it clicked. How beautiful the glistening stars were and how awe inspiring was their connection to form a pattern.

"Wow. It is beautiful, Ravi," she said smiling up at the stars.

"It is. Not to say that the fireworks aren't nice. There's just something lovely about something that's constantly there and constantly beautiful," he said.

Lou turned her head to face him to agree. She fully expected him to be looking up at the constellation, but he was looking at her. She once again became aware that his arm was around her shoulder. She thought about his words and how they seemed to make more sense now that she was gazing into his eyes.

"Yeah, there is something lovely about that," she smiled.
