Several months had passed since Optimus' little prank; and everything was quiet one might say a little too quiet. Everyday routines took over and work went on as usual. It would seem like everyone forgot about the prank on Ironhide and Lennox. Well, everyone that is except Ironhide and Lennox themselves; oh, and Epps still teased Lennox and would sing one of those songs that the Oompa Loompas sang. Lennox would just growl; and walk away.
The following morning Optimus came out of his quarter; and he looked at his men who kept eying him oddly but not saying a word. Skids and Mudflap naturally couldn't keep their mouths shut; and had to say something.
"Boss bot, Whatcha doing lookin like that?" Skids asked.
"Looking like what?" Optimus asked as Mudflap so cleverly answered for his twin.
"Like a slaggin limecycle," he muttered.
"What...?" Optimus demanded as he saw he was green when suddenly there was a honk from a vehicle and music started to play.
Abruptly, Optimus Prime started to bounce around singing the lyrics to the song called The Gummy Bear song. The Autobots stood there watching their leader bounce around on his aft singing that crazy song; when they heard Megatron and Starscream's engines to finalize terms for the end of the war.
The second they saw Optimus doing what he was doing; Megatron didn't know what was going on. He was witnessing his younger brother bounce around on his aft; and he was not sure why.
"What is wrong with your brother?" Starscream asked Megatron.
"I do not know," Megatron said as he spied Ironhide and Lennox smirking. "But I believe I have an idea." Megatron growled.
Megatron stumped over toward his brother; only to have him grab his servos and start dancing with him.
"Optimus this this right now!" Megatron shouted only to suddenly get a kick out of it; and he started to sing with his brother.
Ironhide's mouth opened in shock; and Lennox glanced up at his guardian.
"What did we just do?" Lennox asked his guardian.
"I do not know but it's hysterical," Ironhide said as he burst into hysterics.
However, what they didn't know was Megatron and Optimus were having a private commlink; and Megatron had told Optimus who he believed the ones responsible were. Optimus couldn't stop singing and dancing because Ironhide had gotten Wheeljack's on the prank. However, what goes around comes around and now Megatron was involved; so now some serious pranks were going to start.
