Chapter Five – Ministry of Helps
The Sandbox
Hayworth and Charlene MacKenzie Helmsley arrived at the Sandbox along with the other members of the DX family, Cheyenne Michelle Calloway and Remi Michelle Orton and her husband RJ Orton. Trish and Randy Orton also showed up but they weren't there to stay. They were there to give the rest of the DX family, the Rollins and the God girls an update on Stephanie McMahon latest plans to destroy DX. The update was interrupted by Bianca Belair who insisted Seth go with her to Clearwater Baptist church.
"Why are you telling Seth to go to my father's church Bianca?" Charlene MacKenzie wondered. "I was just there,"
Trish gave her a solemn look, "Because your father's just been attacked by Angela Jericho and he needs to be healed right away," Trish replied.
"Daddy!" MacKenzie cried and Hayworth hugged his now crying wife.
"Charlotte, let's go!" Seth said as Shawl got airborne with him and Bianca on it.
"You mean, I get to use my Gift from God today?" Charlotte said excitedly as Seth extended his hand to her and pulled her onto the prayer shawl.
"Yes now let's go," Seth said as Charlotte got excited.
"Oh, can we come?!" Alexa said and Becky was just as entusiastic, "We wanna see Charlotte work her first healing,"
"This isn't a circus, this is ministry. You two can stay here and listen to what else the Ortons have to say about Stephanie McMahon," Seth said and he left with Bianca, his Treasurer of Secrets and Charlotte the Fair, the God girls' new healer.
Shawn and Amy nodded impressed, "Man, I'm so glad you won Charlotte to Jesus," Amy said to Sasha. "The God girls are gonna be unstoppable with Charlotte onboard,"
Sasha nooded with a smile, "Yes I know, imagine how great it'll be when we get Bayley to come to Jesus," she added and Trish nodded.
"That's what you gotta aim for Boss," Trish said encouraging Sasha.
"But you should know, Bayley's bad behaviour is not over. In fact, her next despicable act is just around the corner," Randy added.
"You mean, the wedding?" Sasha said and the Ortons nodded and the DX family looked at Trish and Randy concerned.
"Do we need to sit down for this?" Hunter asked them and Trish and Randy nodded.
"Let's all sit down," Trish said and when everyone was seated in the DX family room, the Ortons told them what God told them was going to happen right up to Wrestlemania.
Hayworth continued to comfort Charlene MacKenzie who couldn't believe that her Dad was attacked.
"I can't believe what has happened, we were just together," Mac said emotionally and Hayworth kissed her on the head.
"Don't worry, Seth and the God girls have got this. Charles will be just fine," Hayworth assured his wife and Mac looked up at him, her emerald green eyes pooling with tears now streaming down her mahogany brown cheekbones.
"I'm scared Hayworth, what if something else happens to him? Stephanie won't stop until she has my DX wedding ring, what are we going to do?!" Mac asked him and Hayworth touched her lips to calm her down.
"Don't worry my love, I have an idea. Your father can move in with us. The Sandbox has plenty of rooms, I'm sure my Dad won't mind if he lives here with the rest of the DX family," Hayworth said and Mac furrowed her brow: she was less convinced of this being a good idea.
"A preacher, living in the same house as Hunter, your Degenerate father? I don't know if that's a good idea Hayworth," Mac said shaking her head.
"He lives with Shawn and there haven't been any problems between them," Hayworth said.
"Yeah but Hayworth, my father is a preacher, he has a church. We can't ask him to leave his congregation in Clearwater, how will he watch over his flock?" Mac said.
"Simple: Seth can take over as resident Pastor until things with Stephanie McMahon calm down," Hayworth said and Mac smiled from ear-to-ear.
"Seth preaching at Clearwater Baptist Church," she thought to herself happily, knowing how much her father would love that and suddenly, Mac was feeling a lot better knowing that Seth would be where her father always wanted him to be: at church.
Clearwater Baptist Church
On their way to Clearwater, Charlotte Flair could not keep still. She kept bouncing up and down on Seth's flying prayer shawl and Seth's mode of supernatural transportation was getting annoyed.
"I'm so excited, I get to heal my first human. This is so exciting!" Charlotte said animatedly.
"Charlotte you're making too much movement, if you keep bouncing up and down, we're going to end up in the Altantic Ocean," Bianca said but Charlotte was having a hard time keeping her emotions in check.
"I'm sorry B, I just can't believe I get to heal someone so soon. I just got my Gift a few hours ago, now I'm on the job just like you guys!" Charlotte said and Seth smiled; he loved Charlotte's enthusiasm.
"I'm really mad at Stephanie for going after Mac's dad. Pastor Mac means the world to me, I hope she doesn't think she can get away with this for much longer," Seth said as they headed towards Clearwater Baptist Church.
"Let's just do what we came here to do, we'll talk about Stephanie McMahon later," Bianca Belair said knowing there was more information she needed to share with Seth about Stephanie and Bayley, now however, was not the time.
They entered Pastor Mac's beautiful Baptist church and walked to the Pastor's office. Pastor Mac was bent over his desk praying and Seth came over to him and put a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Pastor Mac, it's me, Seth Rollins. I know what happened to you and I'm here to help," Seth said and he lifted Pastor Mac's head and saw the horrendous physical affliction that the now evil Angela Jericho had given him. Bianca gasped when she saw the lovely Pastor's face.
"What did she do to you?!" Bianca said emotionally covering her face.
"I was putting out newsletters in the foyer and Stephanie McMahon came into the church with a beautiful young woman I could only assume was her daughter. She had long blond hair and a perfect face. The girl looked at me and then her face just turned to stone and I touched my face and my skin started to deteriorate. She cursed me then they both laughed and said that if I wanted my face to go back to normal, I had to tell Mac to give Stephanie her DX wedding ring," Pastor Mac explained and he turned to Seth, "All this over a wedding ring, it just doesn't make sense,"
Seth comforted Pastor Mac, "We'll explain everything. Charlotte Flair's gonna make you all better," he said and he turned to Charlotte. "Lean forward and let Pastor Mac put his hands on your head,"
Charlotte came forward and bowed her head toward the Senior Pastor. When Pastor Mac put his hands on Charlotte's head, a bolt of healing power went from the diamond stars lining Charlotte's scalp, into the Pastor's body. Moments later, his face was completely restored.
"That's it, you did it Charlotte!" Seth said rejoicing.
"Praise the Lord!" Bianca rejoiced as Pastor Mac touched his face and realised he had been healed by Charlotte Flair.
"Thank Jesus, I'm healed!" he cried and he reached out and shook Charlotte's hand. "I had no idea you had the Gift of healing, when did this happen?"
"Just today. It was Seth's baby boy, he's the one with the Gift, he just shared it with me. He's got all these little stars in his nursery, now I've got some permanently attached to my head so that I can heal people," Charlotte explained and Pastor Mac looked at Seth delighted.
"She can also blind people so don't cross her," Seth added.
"Oh don't worry I won't!" Pastor Mac said and he hugged Seth. "Thank you for bringing her to me, now I don't have to tell Mac what happened to me,"
"Mac already knows what happened to you, I told her not to worry. She knows that when Seth and the God girls show up, everything is going to be alright," Seth said and Bianca and Charlotte nodded in agreement. "Now, get your things, you're going to see Mac at the Sandbox so she can see how good you look,"
"Let me just finish putting out the newsletters in the foyer and I'll be right with you," Pastor Mac said.
"We'll help," Seth said and Seth and the God girls walked with the Senior Pastor to the foyer.
"You better get used to doing church stuff Seth," Bianca said to her mentor as they helped Pastor Mac update the church information for the week.
"Why?" Seth replied.
"Because you're going to be taking over as Pastor while Mac's father stays out of danger at the Sandbox," Bianca said and Seth smiled at that idea.
"You think you and the other God girls can stay out of trouble without me around?" Seth said.
"Us? Sure, you don't need to worry about us, we'll be fine without you around for awhile," Bianca reassured Seth, she didn't tell him if that also applied to Seth's wife, Sasha Banks, who had no idea where Seth would soon be spending all of his time. "There's something you need to know though,"
"What?" Seth asked and Bianca told Seth who Sasha would soon be spending more time with as a result of Seth's absence. "That's fine," Seth replied. "I don't mind if Sasha spends more time with Roman,"
Bianca furrowed her brow, "You don't mind Roman spending more time with the woman he cheated on his wife with and the child they have together, that doesn't bother you at all?" she asked unconvinced.
"No, I trust Roman and I trust that as my Treasurer of Secrets, you'll make sure that things don't get out of hand between the Boss and the Big Dog in my absence. Now, can I trust you to keep everything together so I don't have to fix my marriage when I come back?" Seth asked.
"Seth, I'm your Treasurer of Secrets, I'm not doing Alexa's job, She's Your Maid of Armour, ask her to watch Sasha for you and I'm sure Becky will have no problem keeping them both in check, most likely with a bucket filled with icy cold water," Bianca said.
"I'd prefer it if you do it, after all, you and Sasha have a lot more in common," Seth said.
"You mean, because we're both black?" Bianca asked and Seth shrugged.
"You said it not me," he replied and Bianca twirled her braid wondering just how involved she was about to get in Seth and Sasha's marriage.
"This is way out of my pay grade Rollins," she said, "but I'll do it, if all else fails, I'll just ask Becky if I can use her ice bucket routine,"
"That's my girl," Seth said and he kissed Belair on the forehead before the all left for the Sandbox to reunite the Mac family and get an update on Stephanie McMahon's future evil plans to get her hands on the DX family jewels.
