Chapter Nine – The Blue Steal

BayRock Wedding Reception, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, CA

Charlene and Hayworth Helmsley arrived at the BayRock wedding reception with their arm entwined. As they stepped into the mega reception hall just a little distance from Malibu beach, HayMac felt very uncomfortable. The reception hall was full of Hollywood media, business types and among them several familiar faces from the wrestling business, including Stephanie McMahon.

HayMac zeroed in on the God girls and made a beeline for them, sitting right next to Seth's holy troupe, not even bothering to make eye contact with the other guests. After being greeted by the God girls, Mac realised that someone was missing.

"Where's Seth?" she asked Sasha who was wiping blue mascara tears from her eyes.

"He's in Pensacola with Abiyah and Roman," she answered sadly. "We had a fight because I gave Bayley something blue for her wedding,"

The God girls shook their heads, they were very upset with Sasha for not telling them about the necklace and it was obvious to HayMac that their problems weren't the only ones tonight.

"Guys, this is a beautiful reception hall, let's not ruin the evening with tears and regrets. Let's have fun tonight okay?" Hayworth said with a big smile. "After all, Bayley is officially off the market, that means you don't have to worry about her stealing Seth from you anymore,"

Bianca snorted at that phrase knowing that Seth's problems with Bayley were about to get a lot worse.

"Sorry Hayworth but your optimism is misplaced. Bayley is still in love with Seth Rollins, she just wants everyone to think that she's over him so she can move ahead with the most powerful man in Hollywood," Bianca said and she shrugged. "You can't blame a girl for trying to move on but as far as God's concerned, she's not over Seth Rollins, which means, that Seth is not out of danger yet,"

"Yeah, especially after he exposed Bayley in front of everyone at the wedding ceremony," Becky added and Mac thumped her fist on the table.

"Oh, I missed it," she said. "If only we hadn't stayed behind to have sex one more time," she said to Hayworth and the God girls burst out laughing as Hayworth blushed.

"It was worth it," Hayworth replied and now Sasha was smiling.

"Newlywed sex is the best," she said thinking of Seth. "Should I go to Pensacola and make up with Seth?" she asked Bianca who gave her a stern look of disapproval.

"No," she replied firmly. "You heard him, it's boy's night. If you show up he'll just extend your punishment. You might not see him until Abiyah's first birthday,"

"You just stay put Boss, let's have a girls' night while Seth's trying not to hate you," Alexa Bliss said and Hayworth squeezed Sasha's hand supportively.

"Seth doesn't hate you," he said warmly.

"He does right now," Bianca said and Mac shook her head at Sasha.

"So, this is what its like to be married to Seth Rollins. I'm glad I dodged that bullet," she said and Sasha snarled at her.

"He's worth the hassle Mac, unlike this little prince that you married, my man actually makes a difference in this world," Sasha said and Mac got hot before Hayworth calmed her down.

"That's okay Mac," he said calmly. "Sasha's just standing up for her husband. I can't argue with you Sasha, Seth's incredible so I can understand why you're so annoyed at yourself for getting on his bad side when Bayley already has a permit there,"

The God girls laughed again and this time, Sasha found herself joining in.

"I'm sorry Hayworth, I didn't mean to disrespect you. I'm just so freakin' mad at myself for not telling Seth about the necklace. We were doing so well and I went and screwed it all up," she said regretfully before turning to Bianca to ask her one more time if she should go to Pensacola to see Seth.

"No!" Bianca said before she could even ask. "He is mad at you, the last thing he wants to see is a shock of blue hair trying to make out with him. Let him and Abiyah have some time away, they'll be plenty of time for ya'll to make up after Seth's calmed down,"

Mac looked at Sasha, "My husband is amazing," she said seriously, "He's only 22 and he's already graduated from Harvard super early and he's created his own healthy hot dog business that's worth a fortune. That's more than Seth did at his age,"

Hayworth put his hand up for peace, "Please Mac, don't turn this into a competition. Sasha's just blowing off steam, she respects me, don't you Sasha?"

Sasha sipped her sparkling water in silence and the God girls realised that she wasn't going to respond to Hayworth's question.

"Sasha, my husband asked you a question: do you respect him?" Mac asked sternly but the Boss remained silent until Bayley came over and sucked all the air out of the room.

"HayMac, you made it!" she said with her arms wide open. "I told you everything would be okay if you came,"

"I heard it was quite a ceremony," Mac said with her eyes still on Sasha who was still ignoring her husband's question. "How was it for you?"

"Let's just say I'm glad Seth isn't here to ruin my reception like he did the ceremony," Bayley said and she nudged the Boss, "Sent your husband home early eh?" she teased Sasha and the God girls noticed that Bayley was wearing the sapphire necklace that Sasha had bought her.

"Sasha, didn't you get that necklace back from Bayley at the church?" Bianca asked Sasha who now saw the necklace around Bayley's neck. She quickly ruffled through her bag and saw that the jewellery box was empty and she looked up at Bayley questioningly.

"Where did you get the necklace?" she asked.

"I asked Beth Hardy to Transcend it out of your bag so I could wear it," Bayley answered. "I wasn't about to let Seth take away my something blue on my wedding day!"

"It is beautiful," Mac said.

"Sasha bought it for me, doesn't she have great taste?" Bayley said touching the necklace proudly, "Well, in everything except men,"

Bianca pulled Sasha's arm, "You have got to get that necklace back," she said squeezing Sasha's arm, "If you don't, Seth is never going to speak to you again!"

Sasha was terrified and she turned to Bayley, "Um, Bayls," she said getting to her feet, "I really need you to give me that necklace back. I'm sure Seth has a very good reason for you not having it, so I'm going to need it back please,"

Bayley shook her head stubbornly, "No way, this is my something blue, I'm not giving it back so that Seth can feel like he has control over our friendship. You bought me this because you love me, after everything we've been through, you still got me this awesome necklace and I'm keeping it Sasha. Let Seth play keep away with these four morons, don't let him do that with our friendship,"

"Hey!" Alexa said offended.

"We are not morons!" Becky said equally offended and Bianca stood to her feet.

"Bianca, what are you doing?" Hayworth said as th removed her earrings.

"I can't believe I'm about to do this at a wedding reception but this ain't no time to be playing around," she said and she stepped over to Bayley and got in her face. "Give me the necklace or I'm going to take it from you by force," she said firmly.

Bayley looked at Sasha for re-enforcement but the Boss was in total agreement with Bianca, "She's serious Bayley, please give it back," Sasha said and Bayley laughed.

"Seth's got you totally brain-washed. So, now you can't even think for yourself, you just do whatever Seth tells you right?" Bayley said appalled. "I'm not giving the necklace back,"

Bianca had heard enough and she balled up the necklace in her fist and yanked it off of Bayley's neck.

"I dare you to try and take it off me," Bianca said to Bayley who held her neck in distress.

"You're just going to let her take it from me like that? I don't think so Sasha! You and Seth are not going to ruin my wedding day with your Christian bull-crap!" Bayley said and she went to get Stephanie McMahon and the God girls rose to their feet, realising what was about to go down.

"I think we should call Seth now," Becky said as Stephanie McMahon locked eyes with them ready for a showdown that the God girls were not prepared for. Hayworth Helmsley however had seen his father's ex-wife in beast mode before and he called the rest of the DX family and told them to come to Santa Monica at once. For once, Hayworth was going to be the one to come to the rescue, instead of Seth, or at least, that's what he was hoping. Suddenly the Last Helmsley wanted to be respected, Sasha had inadvertently lit a fire under the DX kid that he didn't even know existed but now that he did, it was impossible to put out. Sasha was starting all sorts of fires at the moment, not all of which Seth would be able to put out. Thanks to the God girls, he wouldn't have to as Bianca, Becky, Alexa and Charlotte were more than able to deal with all things Sasha and Bayley related in his absence.
