Chapter Ten – Don't let Them Eat Cake
Roman's home, Pensacola, Florida
The Reigns household gathered around little Abiyah Rollins who was the center of attention now that Seth and Sasha were fighting. The Reigns children played with him while Galina and Roman talked to Seth about Sasha. The Prayer Warrior explained why he was so upset with Sasha while Roman's other children played with the very special Abiyah.
"The children love Abiyah Seth, you should bring him over more often," Galina Reigns said noticing how well her children were taking to Roman's illegitimate son.
Seth put his head back and sighed as they sat in the Reigns' kitchen, "If Sasha pulls another stunt like she did today, you might be seeing us here permanently," he said and Roman could see that Seth was on a ledge with Sasha right now, "I mean, how can I move to Saudi Arabia knowing that my wife is incapable of listening to me? We are about to embark on the most dangerous period of our married lives and I can't get that blue haired headache to hear what I say when it comes to all things Bayley?"
"So, this necklace, what's so important about it that it made you bring your son all the way from Cali to Florida on a Saturday afternoon?" Roman asked concerned.
"Yeah, I thought you and Sasha were doing so much better, are you really going to fight over a piece of jewellery?" Galina asked admiring Abiyah as he played with Roman's other children, loving how easily he blended in with them.
Seth sighed again not wanting to get too upset but it was hard to keep his emotions to himself when Roman was around, "We've been living at the Sandbox, it's our fortress from Bayley. We've virtually cut her out of our lives, I only officiated the BayRock wedding because Rocky asked me to. If I had it my way, I wouldn't go anywhere near Bayley because I know how dangerous she is. To this day, when I think about Bayley, I throw up, that's how bad things are between us and what does my beloved blue-haired wife do? She freakin' buys her a blue piece of jewellery, effectively giving her full access to our lives again!"
Roman furrowed his brow, "So, you're saying that this necklace is a way for Bayley to re-connect with you?" he asked and Seth nodded.
"Any item that can be used for witchcraft is strictly off limits. That's how this whole mess between me and Bayley started in the first place. I gave her a ring, she took it the wrong way and I've been paying the price ever since," Seth said and he stood to his feet and started pacing back and forth angrily, "How could Sasha be so stupid?! It's a good thing she got that necklace back or I'd really be in trouble,"
Roman nodded, "That's right, so at least you fixed it before things got out of hand," he said and he went to check on what he was cooking in the oven while Galina hugged Seth.
"You're welcome to stay here with Abiyah for as long as you want, the kids love him," Galina said and Seth nodded, everyone loved Abiyah.
"Thanks Galina, I really just needed to blow off some steam and I couldn't do that in Los Angeles," Seth said and he sat back down, suddenly he felt queasy.
Galina noticed the change in Seth's face and went to get him some water, "I think Seth's more upset with Sasha than he's letting on. He's starting to look nauseous," she said to Roman and the Big Dog checked on Seth.
"Seth, relax," Roman said gently seeing Seth's skin turn pallid. "Don't get stressed about this, its going to be alright between you and Sasha, you guys always work it out in the end,"
Seth shook his head, "That's not what this is, something's wrong. I gotta get back to L A," he said. "I'm gonna put Abi down for a nap and then I have to go. Can you guys watch him for a few hours?"
"Sure Seth no problem, he can sleep in our room," Galina said and Seth picked up Abiyah and took him upstairs to Roman and Galina's bedroom.
Roman smiled to himself, "My son's going to be sleeping in our home for the first time," he said happily. "I hate Seth and Sasha fighting but I gotta tell you Galina, I like having Abiyah in our home,"
Galina nodded, "So do I," she said and they embraced welcoming in the special lil' boy into their lives as a family while Seth went to put out another fire that his wife had started in Los Angeles.
"Dada," Abiyah said as Seth laid him down and lulled him to sleep.
"I'll be back soon lil man, go to sleep," Seth said gently but Seth was the one who ended up napping, as Abiyah touched his face and healed him from the nausea and stress that his fight with Sasha had caused.
Galina and Roman found Seth and Abiyah sleeping and decided not to disturb them and by the time Seth had woken up, all Hell had broken loose and Roman found himself shielding Seth and Abiyah from the war that had started on the West Coast between the McMahon and DX family. Fortunately for Roman, Abiyah had the final say and everytime Seth tried to leave for Cali, he'd fall into a peaceful sleep and couldn't run to bail out his wife. As far as Abiyah was conerned, his father's health came first and Seth wasn't going anywhere that would cause his condition to worsen. His healing Gift stirred Roman's faith and the Big Dog decided that time away from Sasha was probably the best thing, as it gave him an opporunity to watch his son's healing Gift in action. The more stressed out Seth got, the more Abiyah healed him, making it impossible for Seth to leave, which suited Roman and Galina just fine. It wasn't doing any favours for Sasha Banks however, who was still on the West Coast, dealing with a problem that she had started and missing her husband very, very much.
BayRock Wedding Reception, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, CA
Against Bianca's advice, Hunter had eaten some of Bayley and Rocky's wedding cake and gotten sick. Why he kept on eating it was beyond Seth's Treasurer but he was incapable of helping the God girls get Sasha out of trouble.
"Hunter will you stop eating the wedding cake!" Shawn told his best friend. "The Damsels of Destruction made it knowing that if any member of the DX family ate it, they would get sick, that includes you,"
Hunter continued to chomp on the mega thick icing and he weakly pointed to Charlotte Flair, "The day I don't eat wedding cake is the day I stop breathing. Charlotte, come rub my belly and use some of that healing on me so I feel better,"
Charlotte huffed, "I'm not wasting my healing Gift on you, God doesn't waste His power on fools," she replied.
"Well this fool now owns your contract so get to healing!" Hunter replied and the DX family shook their head at their patriarch with the stomach cramps.
"Guys, get Sasha out of here, we've got this," LC Michaels said taking her stand against Stephanie with the other Helmsley daughters.
Carla McCool turned to Cheyenne Calloway, Shawn Michaels' daughter, "You ready Chey? Time to use that Incredible Strength of yours,"
"Okay time out, this is still my wedding reception. Who invited the DX family?" Bayley asked adamantly.
"I did," Hayworth said. "It's time for all this fighting to stop,"
"I agree, I didn't want to fight, I just wanted to wear the necklace Sasha gave me. If Bianca gives it back to me, then Stephanie won't unleash Hell on you all, see how simple that is?" Bayley said.
"You ain't getting this necklace back," Bianca said firmly and she tucked the necklace into her braid.
"No, take the necklace out of your hair!" Rebecca Michelle Orton said urgently and Bianca removed the necklace from her braid. "If you had put the necklace in your hair, Beth Hardy would have Transcended it out with all the other jewels you've gotten hidden away in there,"
Bianca looked at Beth Hardy with disapproval, "Don't you see how much trouble your allegiance with your mother is causing? Sasha just wanted to do something nice and now, this wedding reception is about to break out into a fight,"
"For the last time Bianca, give me that necklace!" Bayley insisted.
"No!" Bianca replied and Bayley looked at Stephanie.
"I didn't want to have to do this Bianca but if you're going to continue to blindly follow everything Seth tells you, be prepared to suffer the consequences," Stephanie said and Bianca's cell phone rang. It was Angelo Dawkins and he was hysterical.
"Dawkins, what's the matter?" Bianca said concerned.
"It's Tez, he's face just started to swell up and he can't breathe! I'm taking him to the hospital right now," Dawkins said and Bianca realised what had happened.
"Bianca, what happened?" Charlotte asked Seth's Treasurer.
"Montez has been attacked with a Make Under, courtesy of Stephanie's McMahon's wicked daughter, Angela Jericho," Bianca replied and the God girls ran over to Bianca.
"We gotta get to him!" Alexa cried out.
"How, he's in New York and Seth's in Florida, we'll never get there in time," Bianca said.
"Give me the necklace Bianca, or you're about to have a very bad Sunday," Stephanie warned Bianca and Beth Hardy shuddered at what had happened to Montez Ford because of her mother.
"Just give Bayley the necklace Bianca, then I'll Transcend you and the God girls to the hospital so that you can heal Montez," Beth Hardy said but Bianca remained firm.
"No," Bianca said. "I won't let you off that easy Bayley. My husband will be just fine,"
Stephanie laughed at Bianca while everyone checked their cell-phones. There was a news alert about Montez Ford from New York City and it was reported to be very serious.
"The choice is yours Belair; give me the necklace or lose your husband, it is as simple as that," Bayley said and Rocky came over to her horrified.
"If Montez Ford doesn't recover, you're going to lose a lot more than a stupid necklace," Rocky warned Bayley and she turned to Stephanie panicking but the McMahon heiress shrugged.
"I can't reverse the Make Under. He's in God's hands now," Stephanie replied cruelly and Bayley looked at Bianca in disbelief.
"Are you really willing to sacrifice your husband to protect a piece of jewellery?" she asked Bianca incredulous but Seth's Treasurer remained silent. Only she and Seth knew how important that piece of jewellery was and Bayley and Stephanie were not about to get their evil hands on it, even if it meant losing the man she loved more than life itself.
Aurora looked at Beth earnestly, "Beth, Transcend Charlotte Flair to the hospital so she can heal Montez Ford," she said. "Don't let Mom make you do this, you can join us and be part of a real family. Your Gift is not for evil, it is a Gift from God, you can't keep using it to do Mom's bidding. It's going to backfire on you, come to your senses and do the right thing!"
"I am doing the right thing. I'm doing what's right for the family," Beth said and the DX family shook their heads at Stephanie horrified.
"How could you influence Beth like this?" Cameron Michaels said and Bianca's phone rang again. This time, she said nothing and dropped the phone and fell to her knees in tears.
"Tez!" she cried out as the worst news she could possibly get was blasted all over social media.
When Bayley saw the news report she turned to Stephanie and Beth Hardy anxiously, "Okay that's enough, I don't care about necklace, just end this now,"
Beth nodded and she Transcended the necklace back into Bayley's hands as Bianca was grief stricken and she let it go.
Stephanie smiled triumphantly, "We're not ending anything, in fact, we're just getting started," she said as the DX family and the God girls comforted Bianca Belair, who had lost much more than a necklace, she had lost the man she loved.
Sasha shook her head wracked with guilt, "This is all my fault," she said tearfully. "Seth is never going to forgive me for giving Bayley that necklace,"
Faith Star looked at Sasha like she was crazy, "What are you talking about Aunty Banks? You're married to Seth "Freakin" Rollins, he's already forgiven you and he's never going to let Bayley get the upper hand over you, the God girls or the DX family," Faith Star assured Sasha and the Boss felt hope rise in her heart.
"What do you mean?" she asked Faith Star who gave her an encouraging smile.
"Have faith in God and the man that God put in your life, that's what I mean Aunty Boss," Faith Star replied knowing that Bianca's day was about to get a lot better thanks to a certain trio currently making their raven-haired way to New York City via Pensacola right now.
