Chapter Twelve – Party's Over
BayRock wedding reception take two, Los Angeles, CA
"You kissed Bayley?!" Sasha yelled at Seth with her hands on her hips. "On her wedding day?!"
"Well, technically her wedding day was a day ago," Seth said and Kofi Kingston shook his head at Seth's attempt to get out of this messy predicament.
"No amount of man-explaining is going to get you out of this one bruh," Kofi told Seth.
"It was the only way I could get the necklace back," Seth said. "I had to get Bayley to drop her guard,"
"Why didn't you just punch her in the gut, that would have worked just as well?" Sasha said and Seth tried not to laugh.
"You know I would never hurt Bayley, I'm sorry babe but it was the only way to fix the mess you made when you bought her that necklace in the first place without telling me," Seth said.
"Don't you dare put this on me Seth. All I did was buy Bayley a necklace, you're the one who kissed a married woman during her wedding reception!" Sasha said and the whole room diverged into a conversation about Seth and Bayley.
Hunter found the whole thing very amusing, "Kissing a married woman on her wedding day Seth, dude, I almost gave up on you but you proved me wrong. You really are the Man I always wanted you to be," Hunter said clearly drunk and Seth ignored him.
"Hey, there's only one Man around here and that's me," Becky said. "Sasha, you know that kiss didn't mean anything, quit making this all about you and let's go home,"
"I don't agree Becky, I think that kiss did mean something, otherwise Seth wouldn't have snuck outside where nobody could see him. You kissed Bayley behind my back, you really do have feelings for her don't you?" Rocky said angrily.
"Are you nuts?!" Bianca Belair said in Seth's defence, "He was two seconds from throwing up, he would have blown chunks all over Bayley's wedding dress if I hadn't been out there to make the save,"
Now, Sasha's eyes were on Bianca and th felt the heat of a million blue thunder bolts aiming at her through Sasha's eyes, "You knew about the kiss and you didn't tell me?" Sasha asked Bianca angrily.
"Sasha, I'm Seth's Treasurer of Secrets, I don't gotta tell you everything I do for him. If you hadn't taken so long to leave, we could have avoided this misunderstanding, Listen to me people, the kiss meant nothing!" Bianca said.
"It better not have Seth. It was one thing for you to call Bayley out during our wedding ceremony but for you to kiss her at midnight on our wedding reception, that sounds a little too romantic to me. Are you really telling me the Truth, you didn't try to make a move on my wife, you just wanted that stupid necklace back?" Rocky asked and Seth nodded.
"Yes Rocky, I am telling you the Truth. I only kissed Bayley as a last minute attempt to get that necklace off of her, which I wouldn't have had to do, if my wife hadn't bought it for her in the first place without telling me," Seth said and Sasha's hair started to flicker.
"We really need to go now Seth," Bianca said knowing what was about to happen and it wasn't good.
"See Seth, all I hear is you and Sasha are having problems, so you take your problems out on my wife's lips to get back at Sasha for being such a terrible wife," Rocky said furiously, "Am I the only one? Is anyone else hearing that because I hear it loud and clear,"
The grumblings from the guests devolved into yet another discussion about Bayley and Seth kissing and no-one seemed to notice that Bayley was smiling quietly to herself. It was the truly the greatest wedding reception of all time simply because of Seth's kiss.
"Okay enough, Seth's not going to admit that he kissed me in a last minute attempt to let his true feelings for me show. I think Seth and the God girls should go and let me and Sasha talk this out like friends," Bayley said and Seth's eyes widened with terror.
"Absolutely not!" he said adamantly. "I am not leaving Sasha here with you so you can poison her against me again, that kiss meant nothing and you know it!"
"My how you protest old friend," Bayley said touching her lips.
"I kissed you on the neck Bayley, not on the lips," Seth said.
"Oh, so that's what this warm and tingly sensation is," Bayley said now caressing her own neck amorously.
"Seth calm down, you've said your piece. Let Bayley think what she wants, all that matters is that you got the necklace back," Alexa Bliss said and Seth nodded, then he saw the look on his wife's face and realised that his problems were far from over.
"I did what I had to do Sasha, are you gonna hold this over my head like you always do when it comes to my assignment, or are you going to stand by me with the God girls?" Seth asked his wife and Sasha put her hands on her hips offended.
"And just what is that supposed to mean Seth? I'm sick of you blaming me when your plans don't work out. Would it really have been so hard to tell me you were going to kiss Bayley and get the necklace back? Why didn't you tell me that was your plan?" Sasha said.
"Because you would have freaked out, just like you always do!" Seth argued back and the God girls exchanged glances.
"Wow, they've really been fighting a lot lately," Charlotte said to the other God girls.
"And Bayley's loving every moment of it," Bianca said seeing the smile spread across Bayley's face as Seth and Becky continued to argue in front of everyone.
Montez Ford came over and tried to placate the married couple, "Guys, I just got healed a few hours ago so I think I can safely say that ya'll need to shut up and enjoy the party. You still love each other right?" he asked Sasha and Seth who eventually nodded.
"Yes," they said in unison.
"So, let the world know, after you apologise to the Rock for kissing his wife," Montez said to Seth and the Prayer Warrior did just that before the second act of the BayRock wedding reception drew to another eventful close.
Becky noticed that Bianca's braid was starting to unravel as they headed out the door, "Looks like you need a date with the hair salon," she said to th of WWE.
"No Bex, this isn't a hair problem, it's a Seth and Sasha problem," Bianca said as God told her that things were about to get worse for Abiyah's parents and it was going to take all her strength to keep the Rollins family from unravelling, like her hair was right now. Being Seth's Treasurer of Secrets was really starting to take its toll on the current Women's Champion but so far, Becky Lynch was the only one who had noticed. "Thanks for having my back Becky,"
"Hey no problem, if anyone knows what a pain in the neck Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks are, it's me. Just don't let it get to you okay?" Becky said and th nodded while trying to fix her braid.
"You're the Man Bex!" Bianca said as Becky Lynch went to get an ice bucket and douse Seth and Sasha Rollins with freezing ice water.
"ARGHHH!" Seth and Sasha screamed and everyone laughed at the married couple.
"My hair, great now I'm going to have to call Roman and have him fix my hair. Becky what is your problem?!" Seth said trembling while shaking the ice cubes off of his shirt.
"I've got ice down my back, get it out Seth!" Sasha said turning to her husband who pushed his hand up Sasha's halter top and pulled what he thought was an ice cube. It was actually the buckle holding her top in place and when he pulled it, Sasha's top came loose and fell to the ground by her feet.
"Is it really that hot in here?" Becky said as Sasha stood in the middle of the reception hall horrified at her husband's actions.
"This is not happening," Sasha said using her hair as a veil to cover herself up while Seth tried to cover her up with his icy shirt.
"Now we're getting to the good stuff!" Bayley said clearly drunk. "Don't stop at the shirt Seth, take off your pants too!"
"Oh will you shut up Bayley, this is all your fault," Seth snapped at the new bride and Rocky got hot at Seth.
"Don't you talk to my wife like that," Rocky snapped. "Seth, I'm really having second thoughts about you. Your behavior tonight has been really disappointing and I'd really appreciate it if you left now,"
"I can't believe you embarrassed me like this, how could you do this Seth?!" Sasha said as she huddled under Seth's jacket.
"I disagree completely with that statement Sasha," Hunter said still drunk off his butt. "I think you should expose your boobs more often, in fact, I'm thinking of walking in on you by "mistake" when we get home. Seth wouldn't mind since you won't be speaking to each other for the next few days, I would be happy to take his place next to you in bed,"
"Hunter will you stop making a joke out of everything? I will never give up my spot to you or any man, I'm the only one Sasha will be sleeping with at the Sandbox," Seth said and the men in the reception hall sighed with disappointment as Sasha quickly put her halter top back on.
"I'm so embarrassed, Seth you really did a number on me tonight," Sasha said to Seth.
"Well so did you Sasha, I thought I could trust you, instead you go behind my back. I'm your husband I'm supposed to protect you, how am I supposed to do that if you do stuff without telling me?" Seth argued.
Sasha shook her head furiously, "I don't know Seth but you're doing a pretty lousy job of keeping me covered these days," Sasha said.
"I didn't know your top was gonna fall off," Seth said.
"That's not what I meant," Sasha replied, "What about you agreeing to officiate Bayley and Rocky's wedding ceremony, wasn't that extending the olive branch to her?"
"No, not if it meant that she would be marrying someone else instead of trying to get me in bed," Seth argued.
"Well, what about you going behind my back and kissing her?" Sasha countered and Seth pulled at his hair in frustration, then he noticed Bianca's braid was unravelling.
"Oh God," he said alarmed by Bianca's appearance, "Sasha, we've got to stop arguing,"
"I agree, so let's agree to be honest with each other, then we won't have to argue so much," Sasha replied.
"Okay, I'm sorry I didn't tell you that I was planning to kiss Bayley to get the necklace from her," Seth said.
"Good, I'm glad you apologise. Now apologise for not telling me you were going to replace Charles MacKenzie at Clearwater Baptist Church for awhile," Sasha said and Seth frowned.
"I was stepping in to help Mac's Dad out," Seth argued.
"You still shouldn't have done it without telling me," Sasha replied.
"It was just until he got healed and so Mac would know he was safe," Seth argued then he decided to stop defending himself, "You're right Sasha, I'm sorry I should have told you that I was going to step in for Pastor Mac for awhile,"
"Thank you, now let's kiss and make up before everyone thinks we're having marital problems," Sasha said and Seth leaned in to kiss her, signifying to everyone in the room that everything was a-okay between them. Bianca Belair knew that nothing could be further from the Truth.
