Chapter Seventeen – The DX Conviction

The Sandbox

In Abiyah's former nursery lay the sleeping form of a newborn baby girl called Rebecca Rogan and over her and the shadow of many admiring DX family members was cast over her. While her mother slept and her father kept watch, the newborn became the center of attention in a family where there was only one person who could get everyone's attention and that was Triple H.

The DX patriarch had mysteriously decided to book a flight to Aruba out of nowhere, telling Shawn to watch over the roster until he came back. Even in his absence, all the DX family could think about is why the co-leader of their family would suddenly up and go to Aruba out of nowhere.

The God girls knew why Triple H was in Aruba and they couldn't wait to tell Seth and Roman that their boss was on his way to crash the BayRock honeymoon with them and Abiyah.

"Seth is going to lose it," Bianca said as Becky, Bliss and Charlotte snickered.

"He sure is, the last thing Seth wants is for Hunter to stick his big nose in his business," Becky said and Sasha Banks came over to them to see what was so amusing.

The God girls fell silent in her presence, they were supposed to be acting like everything was normal. Sasha had no idea why Seth had really gone to Aruba and it was the God girls' responsibility to keep her in the dark so she didn't do anything stupid, again.

"What's so funny?" Sasha asked them.

"We were just wondering who was going to make dinner now that Hunter's off to Aruba," Charlotte said.

"I'm sure Shawn will take care of it," Sasha said and she walked away to ask Shawn if he was making dinner.

The God girls blew a sigh of relief as she left, "I just don't know how to act around Sasha anymore," Bianca said and the other God girls nodded.

"I know, she's so unpredictable," Charlotte said.

"And totally untrustworthy," Alexa added.

"But we can't let our hand show, we have got to keep this façade up for the next few days," Becky said.

"Hey guys, can I ask you a question?" came the pleasant voice of MacKenzie Helmsley as she walked over to them.

"Sure thing Mac, what's up?" Becky said with a smile.

"Is everything okay with Seth and Sasha?" Mac asked and the God girls exchanged glances.

"That's really none of our business Mac," Alexa said in defense of Seth. "You should just mind your business,"

"I know I might be over-stepping but Hayworth and I just got married and I've never been more in love with him. I just can't understand why Seth and Sasha are having such a hard go of their marriage; ever since they said "I do" they've been fighting. But I know they love each other so I guess I just wondered if all this fighting was a demonic attack from Stephanie and Bayley," Mac said.

"Of course it is," Alexa replied not wanting to talk about it anymore with Sasha in the room.

"For the most part, the main problem is that they are completely wrong for each other," Becky added and the God girls gasped at her comment.

"Becky!" they said in unison and Becky looked at them innocently.

"What, they are! That doesn't mean they don't love each other, it just means they have to work harder than most people to stay together that's all," Becky said. "Trust me I know what I'm talking about; if I was in their shoes, I would have walked out on Seth months ago. He's a total pain in the - "

"-Becky that's enough," Bianca said and Becky covered her mouth.

"Sorry," she said and she turned to Mac with a plastic smile, "No Mac, Seth and Sasha are not having any problems, they love each other very much and everyting is just fine," she said sarcastically.

Mac shook her head at the Irish Lass Kicker, "I can always count on you to tell the Truth Becky. Never change," she said touching Becky's hand gently before going over to Hayworth.

Bianca slapped Becky on the shoulder, "Why did you tell her that?! The last thing we need is for another concerned party going over to Aruba to make sure Seth's okay," she said and the God girls looked at Bianca puzzled.

"Are you saying that HayMac are gonna go to Aruba to see Seth as-well?" Charlotte said and Shawn Michaels called for everyone's attention.

"Hi family, it has come to my attention that everyone is very concerned about Hunter's sudden decision to go to Aruba without telling us, so I have made the executive decision for the entire DX family to go to Aruba and make sure everything is okay," Shawn said and the God girls gave a collective shriek.

"Is everything okay?" Chyna asked them after their loud cry got everyone's attention.

"Would you guys mind staying here with Remi and RJ while we go?" Shawn asked them.

"Shawn, you really don't need to go to Aruba. I'm sure Hunter has a good reason for suddenly leaving, maybe he's got a business deal that he wants to surprise you with," Bianca said.

"No, he would have told me if he was planning on setting up a promotion in Aruba," Shawn said confidently.

"Shawn please listen to me," Bianca said coming over to HBK, "You cannot leave the Sandbox, if you go to Aruba with the entire DX family, your home will be invaded by you-know-who,"

"That's why I'm leaving you guys in charge; as long as the God girls are here, nothing can happen to this house," Shawn said.

"But our Gifts won't protect your property," Bianca said and Shawn touched her head.

"My dear Bianca, I think you've been underestimating how powerful you really are. Have you forgotten how long you've been holding onto those DX family jewels for? If Stephanie tries to come into this house, you have enough power wrapped up in that braid of yours to take her out on the spot. I just hope you don't have to use it," Shawn said and Bianca's mouth dropped.

"Are you telling me the DX family jewels are a weapon?" she asked amazed. "Seth never told me that!"

"That's because he doesn't know. Hunter and I don't tell you kids everything, only what you need to know. So don't worry, our home is in good hands as long as you're guarding it and guard it you shall Belair," Shawn said and he hugged the Women's Champion before rallying up the DX family and heading to the airport.

Bianca stood stunned while the rest of the God girls wondered what on Earth was going to happen when the entire DX family arrived in Aruba and found out the real reason why Seth was there with Roman and Abiyah.

"Bianca, what if the DX family see what Seth's got planned and get involved? Won't that ruin everything?" Alexa asked as Bianca thought deeply to herself.

"I don't know Lexi," Bianca replied distantly and the God girls frowned at her.

"What do you mean you don't know Bianca? You know everyting," Becky said and Bianca touched her braid thoughtfully.

"I thought I did Becky, I thought I knew everything but apparently there's stuff I don't know and that includes the answer to your question Lexi. All I know is that we have a house to protect because the likelihood of a home invasion by Stephanie McMahon just went up by a hundred percent," Bianca said and the God girls assembled around Bianca.

"How long before Sasha figures out that something up? If Stephanie shows up and sees that Seth isn't here, she'll tell Sasha everything and then we'll have more than this house to protect," Charlotte said.

"I'm Seth's Treasurer of Secrets, protecting his secrets is what I've been assigned to do, so if Stephanie knows what's good for her, she'll keep her cruel mouth shut. She already tried to take my husband from me, she's not taking my assignment too. Get ready girls, things are about to get ugly in this beautiful place," Bianca said and they nodded in preparation for a McMahon family showdown while Sasha watched them from a distance wondering what they were talking about.
