Chapter Twenty One – Kisses by the Pier

Renaissance Resort & Casino

Roman Reigns held Seth's hair back as he continuously threw up in the men's bathroom in the hotel lobby. Not used to playing the role of Alexa Bliss, who frequently held Seth's hair back when he got a severe bout of nausea after being exposed to Bayley for too long, Roman was doing his best not to throw up himself.

As Seth sat back on his heels Roman wiped the cold sweat from his best friend's forehead with a bathroom hand towel.

"Seth, we've been in here for almost forty-five minutes," Roman said as Seth flushed the toilet again while trying to regulate his breathing. He was light headed and also extremely hungry now that his stomach was emptying itself every minute. He was the sickest he'd ever been and Roman was getting worried that his plan to seduce Bayley so he could get the necklace from her wasn't such a good idea. "I don't think you should go through with the rest of this plan, you're really sick,"

"I'll be fine, I just need to get through this and it'll all be over," Seth said while attempting to get to his feet, only he failed to do so due to another bout of vomit that hit the toilet bowel like a tidal wave of bile. Roman pulled Seth's hair back while turning his head in the opposite direction.

"This is awful, Seth I don't think I can let you meet up with Bayley. Who knows what will happen to you if you make out with her. I mean, if all you did was kiss her and this is what happened to you, Seth you have a wife and kid to think about. Maybe we should just call it quits and go home," Roman said as Seth sat up and Roman wiped his face. His skin was pale and he looked green and he held onto Roman for balance as he tried to get up again.

This time Seth was able to stand up but not without Roman's support. "I don't know what I would do if you weren't here Roman," Seth said through laboured breaths, "I know how this looks but I can't go home without that necklace,"

"Well you're supposed see Bayley at six, it's only three and you've been throwing up for almost an hour. You need to shower, shave and I need to do your hair before you meet her, so we better go back to our hotel just in-case you start throwing up again," Roman said and Seth nodded gently.

"I need to lie down and then I have to pray. Go find Faith Star and make sure Abiyah's okay then bring him to my hotel room, I want to see him before I go and meet Bayley," Seth said putting all his weight on Roman.

Roman shook his head fervently, "I think we should cancel the whole thing and just spend the rest of this trip having fun with Abiyah and Faith Star. Maybe I should call my wife and get her to bring the kids and we can have a real vacation," he said and he looked at Seth and saw that he was unconscious. "Seth?!" Roman said shaking Seth's head back and forth but there was no answer. "Oh my God," Roman exclaimed and he carried Seth over his shoulder and headed back to the hotel praying that Seth was okay.

Ritz-Carlton Hotel

When Seth opened his eyes he was freshly bathed and wearing a light shirt navy blue shorts. His skin smelled like cocoa butter cream and his hair was styled to perfection. He looked over to his left and saw his son Abiyah playing with Faith Star next to his head as he lay on his super king size hotel room bed.

"He's awake Uncle Roman!" Faith Star cried getting off the bed and pulling on Roman's arm as he was on the phone and Seth sat up and reached for Abiyah who crawled into his arms.

"Dada," Abiyah said with a beautiful smile as Seth kissed him on the head.

"Hey son," Seth said and Roman and Faith Star came over to him.

"You're awake," Roman said giving Seth a beautiful smile of his own. "Abiyah healed you so you're one hundred percent fine if you still wanna go through with the plan,"

Seth looked at Abiyah thoughtfully, "Thanks son," he said and Abiyah kissed him on the nose.

"Dada," he said and Seth prayed over Abiyah to restore his strength. Abiyah soon fell asleep and Faith Star took him to his crib before taking a nap of her own right next to him.

Roman looked at Seth relieved, "I'm so glad you're okay but I should tell you something that happened after you passed out," he said.

"What?" Seth asked raising a critical eyebrow at Roman.

"My cousin called and he said that he's made plans with Bayley so she won't be able to meet up with you at the pier at six," Roman said and Seth sighed throwing his head back.

"No," he cried.

"That's not all," Roman said and Seth looked straight at him raising his eyebrow again.

"What else?" Seth asked him.

"I called Sasha and I told her to come here to be with you," Roman said and Seth got hot.

"You did what?!" he yelled in disbelief. "Roman, why did you do that?! Sasha will throw a fit if she finds out what I'm doing to get that necklace back,"

"Seth, you need to spend time with your wife. I think your plan has made you vulnerable and there's a chance, please don't hate me for saying this, but there's a chance that by kissing Bayley, you could be on your way to having an affair," Roman said and Seth burst out laughing.

"An affair, with Bayley?! Roman are you nuts?! I can't stand that woman, I would never sleep with her," Seth said laughing out loud.

"I know you wouldn't Seth but that's how it always starts. You have invested so much energy into trying to get Bayley out of your life that you don't even realise how much time you spend talking about her. When affairs start, its always with an increased interest in someone other than your spouse. You and Sasha are not on good terms right now and even though you might not consciously be interested in having sex with another woman-"

"- Ew, Roman! Let me stop you right there, I couldn't have an affair even if I wanted to. When Bayley tried to kill me and Jesus restored my life, he gave me immunity from lust, meaning that even if I find a woman attractive, I can't have sex with anyone but my wife. So relax Big Dog, there's no way I could ever sleep with Bayley," Seth explained.

"If you would let me finish, I was trying to explain that affairs always start in the heart before they go to the bedroom. You cheat on your wife emotionally before you cheat on them physically. As much as a fantasy this is for Bayley, that kiss was very, very real and its not the first time you guys have kissed. You kissed each other for the Black Heart Diaries promo, you kissed her on her wedding reception in L A and you kissed her again today and passed out as a result. Everytime you kiss Bayley, you get sick, don't you think what happened today is God's way of telling you that this is a really bad idea?!" Roman said.

"I have no choice Roman!" Seth said firmly. "Sasha is the reason I'm doing this, by buying that necklace, she's put our marriage, our family, the God girls and the DX family in real danger. I have to get that necklace off of her no matter what,"

"Rocky said that he'll take care of the necklace, don't you think he can do that?" Roman said.

"No Roman I don't. Everyone who said that they could get the necklace has failed, I have to get it myself," Seth said and Roman frowned.

"Okay Seth, what's going on with this necklace, why is is so important that you get it off of Bayley?" Roman said.

"God said, that if I don't get that necklace off of Bayley before the end of the week, something really bad is going to happen, that's all I need to hear Roman," Seth said and Roman nodded knowing that Seth wasn't going to move on this.

"I can see your mind is made up," Roman said. "Rocky said that if he gets the necklace off of Bayley, he'll bring it to you after he's finished having sex with Bayley," Roman said as Seth glanced at the hotel room service menu. "Give me that, you're not eating anything right now," he said snatching the menu from Seth.

"So they're having sex tonight. Wow, Bayley's finally going to know what it feels like to have sex with a man instead of pretending to have it with one of my cardboard cut outs," Seth said. "I hope she enjoys it,"

Roman furrowed his brow at Seth, "My cousin will be lucky if he gets to see her naked. She's going to make every excuse known to man to get out of having sex with him until after she's met up with you later on tonight," Roman said and Seth suddenly felt nauseous again. "You're the one she wants to sleep with Seth,"

"I suddenly don't feel so good," Seth said lying back on the bed gingerly and Roman laid down next to him and put his hand on Seth's stomach.

"That's why I called Sasha, you need her here, she's your wife and you need her to be here for you after this thing with Bayley is done. You need to have something to look forward to after all this ugliness with the necklace is behind you," Roman said rubbing Seth's tender stomach.

"In case you hadn't noticed, Sasha and I haven't exactly been enjoying each other's company recently," Seth said as Roman pulled closer to him.

"I couldn't think of a better place than this beautiful Caribbean island to mend whatever's broken between you two," Roman said supportively.

"I don't think Hunter will appreciate Sasha joining us when he's already pissed that we came to Aruba without telling him, plus I told the God girls to keep an eye on her. Did she say when she was coming?" Seth said.

"No, just that she was coming soon. I gave her the name of our hotel so I'll be here when she checks in. Hopefully all this stuff with Bayley will be done by then," Roman said and Seth breathed out gently resting against Roman's reassuring arms.

"I hope so too Big Dog," he said. "Let's go check on Hunter and see if those sharks are still circling him when Abiyah and Faith Star wake up,"

Roman chuckled at the idea of Hunter still screaming in the water, it took his mind of the serious situation Seth was in and it wasn't over yet, there was so much more drama to come.
