Chapter Twenty Three – Paradise Lost
Honeymoon Suite, Renaissance Resort & Casino
The Rock's honey-coloured lips pressed against a very fidgety Bayley as he tried to get her in the love-making mood.
Things weren't going very well for the People's Champ. He thought he had done everything right; he put on some nice R&B, he turned the lights down low, there was a gentle breeze coming from the veranda and some champagne on ice that Bayley refused to drink.
It was clear to the Rock that his bride had other things on her mind and he knew exactly what she was thinking about.
Bayley continued to pull herself closer to her knees and the more Rocky touched her, the more she tried to pull away.
"Rocky I'm not in the mood. I thought we were gonna wait until the end of the week to make love? You said our honeymoon was going to end on a "bang," I don't understand why you suddenly changed your mind," Bayley said as Rocky decorated her skin with delicate kisses.
"I couldn't wait any longer, I want to make love right now. If we do it tonight then we'll have something to look forward to. The first time is usually awkward but the next time you make love just gets better and better," Rocky explained.
"So you want to get a head start? That's ridiculous, I don't want to rush things just so you can get passed the awkward part. Can't we please just stick to the plan?" Bayley said.
Bayley's plan was to make love to Seth and then pretend she was still a virgin when she came back to her husband. Sleeping with Seth was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and she wasn't about to blow it on the People's Champ.
Rocky knew what Bayley was planning and he was doing everything he could to keep her away from Seth, he didn't think it would be this hard to get her in the mood. He'd have to change plans slightly to make sure Seth stayed away from her.
"You know what? It is such a beautiful day, why don't we go for a walk by the pier, maybe have some dinner by the water and then we can come back and make love tonight, how does that sound?" Rocky said and Bayley got anxious. She knew that Seth was at the pier right now, waiting for her. If she came to the pier with the Rock, it would wreck her plans with Seth.
Bayley came up with a plan of her own but she would have to act fast, "Okay, let's go for a walk on the pier," Bayley said.
Somehow she was planning to ditch Rocky and hook up with Seth, she was so close to getting what she wanted, she wasn't about to give up now. She called Stephanie after the Rock went to the bathroom, "Send in the fans," she told Stephanie and she waited for her emergency plan to go into effect before her window with Seth was permanently closed.
Aruba Beach Club Resort
Hunter chomped on his crab claws after devouring his wife's portion and the DX family watched in disgust as Hunter proceeded to eat the meal of everyone at the table.
"Don't look at me like that, I was in the water for hours thanks to Seth and Roman," Hunter said and he got up and went to the kitchen to talk to the head chef to give him some positive feedback.
"He didn't leave us anything, he even drank all the soup!" Amy said and the DX children shook their heads.
A loud sound suddenly rose up from outside the club resort and the DX family looked out to see a mob of screaming fans descending upon them.
"How did we get recognized in Aruba?!" Shawn said to Amy who shook her head and pointed at the gorgeous Samoan racing over to them.
"They're not here for us, they're here for the People's Champ," Amy replied as the Rock sat in Hunter's seat with the DX family.
"I'm so glad you guys are here, that mob saw me and Bayley leaving our hotel and they've been chasing us ever since. It's funny, they just came out of nowhere," Rocky said before noticing all the empty plates. "Did you guys not eat before tonight? Where's all the food?"
"Hunter devoured it, he's in the kitchen giving the head chef a huge tip," Shawn said.
"Where's Bayley?" Hayworth said and Mac shifted uncomfortably in her chair at the mention of the Black-Hearted One.
"I lost her on the way over. She's signing autographs outside," Rocky said.
"Did she see you come in here?" Lisa asked the Rock.
"Don't worry I'll go get her when the mob breaks up, for now, I need some food for me and my beautiful bride. Tonight is a very special night, if you know what I mean," Rocky said and the DX children suddenly lost their appetite.
"We know exactly what you mean," Aurora said sarcastically before turning to Cheyenne Michelle Calloway, "Why do adults insist on telling us about their sex lives?" she asked and HBK's eldest daughter shrugged.
"Most be in their contract," she replied wondering how a woman as awful as Bayley landed a man as wonderful as the Rock.
The Pier
Things weren't always what they seemed; what Cheyenne Michelle didn't know was how much Bayley wanted to ditch the Rock so she could sleep with her former best friend instead. She went as far as to call Stephanie and told her to leak the fact that the WWE was in Aruba so the fans would locate them.
After losing herself in the flash fan mob, Bayley escaped from all the chaos to the pier where Seth was waiting for her. It was a little later than usual but she showed up just like she said she would.
When she got there, no-one else was around and for a second, she thought Seth hadn't shown up. That was until a pair of hands tapped her on the hip and she turned and saw Seth standing in front of her looking as beautiful as ever.
"I'm so sorry I'm late," Bayley said and Seth stroked the side of her face.
"Actually, you're right on time," he said and Bayley felt like she was floating as Seth took her hand and led her to a boat that was about to take them for a cruise.
Roman watched them get on the boat noticing that Bayley still had the necklace on.
"Seth hurry up and get that thing so we can end this before Sasha gets here," he said hiding behind a rock.
"Where are they going?" came the sweet voice of Faith Star and Roman did a double-take when he noticed she was wearing a scuba diving outfit.
"Faith Star, what are you doing here? You should be in bed with Abiyah," Roman said.
"Aunty Boss showed up, she's with Abi, looks like I got here just in time," Faith Star said and she dove into the water behind the boat going after Seth and Bayley.
"Faith Star!" Roman cried out as the DX kid went after Seth and Bayley and Roman pulled at his hair wondering how he was going to explain to LC and Cameron that their little girl was swimming late at night when she should be in bed. "Where am I going to get a scuba suit at this time?!" he said and he went back to the hotel to get Shawl, hoping that Seth's prayer shawl would let him fly on him so he could take Faith Star back to bed and stop Seth's plan to get the necklace from being wrecked again.
On the boat, Seth was all over Bayley, kissing and caressing her like a tender lion. It didn't take long for Bayley to start taking off her clothes, switching and mounting Seth as he closed the gap between them 'til he was fighting back the nausea that was coming back for round two. He wouldn't be able to keep this faux affection up for much longer, his stomach just wouldn't hold up. He had to grab the necklace soon and get off the boat before he threw up all over the place.
As Bayley roughed up his shirt finding him more and more irresistible by the second, Seth reached behind her neck and unhooked the bracelet. Bayley suddenly pulled off her dress and Seth closed his eyes before he saw something he really didn't want to see: Naked Bayley 3.
"Look at me Seth, don't be shy, I'm all yours tonight baby," she said and Seth winced wondering how long he could go without opening his eyes. A loud thump got his attention and he sat up as Bayley re-dressed wanting to know what was trying to interrupt them. "I thought you said we were alone," she said.
"I thought we were," Seth replied and Bayley screamed as Faith Star jumped into the boat taking Seth by surprise.
"Uncle Seth, I'm here to save you!" Faith Star cried out and she kicked Bayley in the knees causing Bayley to fall down.
"Ow, you little creep!" Bayley said and Faith Star pulled Bayley to the edge of the boat while Seth pocketed the necklace.
"Yes, I got it!" he rejoiced and he watched as Faith Star muscled Bayley overboard. "Faith Star! How strong are you?!" he cried out as Bayley fell into the water without a life jacket.
"Turn this boat around and let's get outta here," Faith Star said. "The sharks are going to have a feast tonight,"
"The sharks!" Seth exclaimed remembering that the sharks were still in the water. "I gotta get Bayley out of the water before she gets eaten,"
"What? After what she just did? She deserves to be shark bait Uncle Seth, why do you keep trying to save her?" Faith Star said.
"Because I'm a Christian and saving people is what we do!" Seth said and Faith Star looked at him seriously.
"Listen to me Uncle Seth, I might be young but my mother is one of the strongest Christians I know and she tells me over and over again that salvation is a choice. You can't force people to change and you have been trying to change Bayley for way too long. She doesn't want to change so why are you still trying to save her?" Faith Star said.
"When you're older you'll understand, now stay here while I save her again," Seth said and he saw Roman on Shawl and signalled for the Big Dog to take Faith Star back to the hotel before he jumped into the water and told the sharks to leave Bayley alone.
As Roman hovered in the sky with Faith Star, Sasha Banks watched as Seth brought Bayley back to shore.
"Sasha," Seth said. "I thought you were with Abiyah, what are you doing here?"
"I was about to ask you the same question but I got my answer," Sasha said looking at Bayley who was limp in Seth's arms trying to catch her breath. "You came all the way to Aruba to see Bayley. You lied to me, you aren't here on a guys' trip, you're here trying to break up BayRock again. I can't believe you would betray me like this!"
Seth dropped Bayley like a bag of dirt and looked at his wife incredulous, "I came here for this," he said showing Sasha the necklace. "Look familiar? It's the necklace you gave her after I told you I wanted it to go back to the place you bought it from. I'm here trying to stop you from ruining everyone's life Sasha. Why do you continue to disobey me?! Don't you see what happens everytime you ignore what I tell you to do?!"
Bayley looked up trying to catch her breath and she saw Faith Star looking down at her, "I was so close, that damn DX kid ruined everything," she said under her breath and she got to her feet and headed for the Aruba Club Resort to find Rocky. Now that Sasha was in Aruba, she wouldn't be sleeping with Seth tonight after all. Though it ended suddenly, Bayley was certainly looking forward to resuming her make out session with Seth before the week was over. The thought of Seth touching her made her feel all warm and tingly inside and she replayed the night's recent events over and over again as she went to find her husband in name only.
In Bayley's heart and mind, she was very much married to Seth and Rocky was in for a hard night if he thought he was going to get her to look at him the way she looked at Seth tonight. It was only Sasha who couldn't see Bayley for the threat that she really was to her marriage. The only person the Boss could find fault with was Seth and she was totally blind to what was really going on. All she could do was blame her husband and all Seth could do was defend himself.
"I can't believe you lied to me again!" Sasha yelled and Roman sighed as the Rollins' descended into yet another argument.
"Let's go back to the hotel Faith Star, I have a feeling Uncle Seth and Aunt Sasha are going to be out here all night," he said sadly and Shawl took Roman and Faith Star back to the hotel where Roman's wife and children were waiting for him, hoping to have an awesome family vacation with Seth, Sasha and the DX family. As far as Roman was concerned, the only thing they would be having was an intervention to save his best friend's marriage, which was unravelling under the moonlight sky in the Aruba paradise, a fact that was just too ironic for words.
