We arrived back at my castle quickly thanks to Doomtail. I told my kitchen servants to prepare a feast as fast as they can, or else. While they prepared the meal, I thought of what to do. I decided on visiting the Kingdoms in my new empire.

"Tonight, we shall feast to celebrate my new empire... But first, let us visit my new Kingdoms..." I told my closest servants. They all nodded in agreement, and so we departed. We first visited Rogueport to pick up Marylin. While we were there, we rode on the. Excess Express, which was still overrun by Smorgs. We also visited Midnight Town, and humoured ourselves with the cursed citizens. As we left Rogueport, I conjured a crown on top of my old Palace, similar to how Kammy did to Bowser's castle. We then went to the Beanbean Kingdom, which had not yet been fully conquered. I turned the castle the same purple as Vivian, and raised it to overlook the pathetic town. We also went to Joke's End, which I renamed Hell's Beginning after making all the walls blaze with an eternal fire. We then went to Little Fungitown, where Goombella had dreamt of going to for years. Goombario happened to be staying there, and they talked for hours about their Mario adventures and things like Archeology. I also added yet another crown to the castle. We finally visited the deserts of Sarasaland, and Daisy showed us around. There wasn't much to see, but we got a glimpse of Tatanga's weaponry being replicated. Daisy's castle was the most impressive so far, with its many spires and staggering height. At last, I added a crown on the highest spire. We then returned to my castle, and found the Toads finishing table preparation. "Yesss... Now... We feast..." I told my servants.

"Wow Toads! This looks great! You've really outdone yourselves!" Daisy said cheerily. We all sat down, and I threw a few Toads for Doomtail to chew on.

"I propose a toast to our queen, she gave us all the power we didn't deserve." Shadow Peach suggested.

"To the Shadow Queen!" everyone cheered. "Speaking of power, which piece of land am I getting?" Doopliss interjected.

"It doesn't matter..." I said calmly.

"Why not?" asked Doopliss. I chuckled at his foolishness.

"Because... This will be our last meal..." I told everyone.

"What do you mean?" chimed in Vivian.

"I mean... I'm banishing you..." I smirked. "After all, there can only be one Shadow Queen... Muh huh huh huh huh!"

"W-what?! You can't do that!" Vivian yelled. "We outnumber you!"

"Indeed you do, but I have the power of the Crystal Stars..." I replied. I clicked my fingers, and Peach suddenly became stiff. I then restrained everyone in magic shackles, so none could escape. "Now Doomtail... You can take Peach's body for your own..." I told my newest dragon. It nodded silently, and approached Peach. She stared onwards as Doomtail wrapped its wings around her. Both their bodies became the same green as Doomtail's eyes, and my dragon started to fade away. At the same time, Peach's body started to change. Her fingers started to curl inwards, as her fingernails became turned to claws. He teeth turned to fangs, and her eyes went from innocent blue to malicious green. A stump formed on her back, and it grew into a tail. Two more grew into wings, and her whole body became more scaly. Her dress became shorter, until it was more skirt-like. The green light dissipated, and the lights showed off this new form of Peach.

"Thank you, my queen, for granting me this body..." Doomtail spoke. I turned to everyone else, who were looking at this new Peach with terror.

"You are welcome, Doomtail..." I told her. "Now..." I spoke to my old servants. "I am a fair Queen... Therefore, I will let you fight me properly... If you win, you gain freedom and my power..." I told them.

"What happens if we win?" asked Kammy.

"You'll find out soon enough..." I told them, smirking. "Also, I have Doomtail on my side..." I nodded at her. "Now... Let us begin!" I shouted. I focused on Mario first, as I knew how powerful he could be when he truly tried. I launched lightning at him, but he dodged. Vivian had empowered him more, I see... I summoned some dead hands that grabbed him, as a large hand smacked him in the chest. He let out a groan, and the dark aura around him disappeared. Apparently, that final blow weakened his body enough for his brain to win its internal fight and destroy the brainwashing spell. He was out cold, so I focused on Goombella next. She tried a Headbonk, but I used a Boo Sheet and it missed. When the cloak vanished, she tried Multibonk, bit to no avail. I swatted her away with a hand, then shot her with lightning to finish her off. She collapsed as well, and now it was onto fighting Doopliss. He had been fighting Doomtail for a while, because he had mimicked the new Peach. I snuck up from behind and uses my Dark Wave attack, which knocked him into his original form. Then, Doomtail used its Plasma Breath attack, sending Doopliss unconscious. I then turned to Daisy, and I could sense her determination. I could still use her... I shackled her up for now, and forced her asleep. I then turned to my Shadow Sirens. I used a spell I thought I would not have to use, but these were worthy opponents... A whirlwind formed, and my spirit left my new vessel. I was planning to be my spirit temporarily, but I noticed my power had improved when I was out of it... I summoned the spirit of Queen Bean and now Mario into my own body, as well of those of the Toads. I absorbed their energy, and with their power, I could permanently become my spirit form.

"Muh huh huh huh huh... MUH HUH HUH HUH HUH!" I laughed with pure joy. In my spirit form, I was invincible to all attacks. I stood in front of my first creations, and gave them a cruel smile. Beldam and Marylin knew when to quit, and knelt down before me.

"We accept our fates, my queen..." Beldam muttered. I sent a haze at them that knocked them unconscious. Vivian, however, was over by Mario's corpse, and she was crying.

"Why did you do this? WHY?!" she screamed at me.

"Because, Vivian... You were right..." I told her. "I only care for myself... And rightly so. This world is weak, and therefore easy to conquer... And you fools meant nothing to me. Nothing. At. All." I snickered at her expression. "Now... Prepare to meet Mario again soon..." I sent her unconscious, and then summoned the empty frames from my chambers. One by one, I forced the souls into them, and the frames were filled with paintings of their scared expressions. I returned them to my chambers, and they looked magnificent on my wall. I then turned to Daisy, the only valuable of my old servants. I woke her up, and she looked around at the bloodied walls and stained floors.

"W-what happened?" she asked.

"I destroyed your friends' bodies, and trapped their souls forever." I told her bluntly. "However, I left you alive, because you are still of use..." I went on. "You have determination... You fight for your friends, but you really want power... You may deny it, but I've seen inside you... The real you... And I know what you really want..." I manipulated her.

"But so did everyone else. Why choose me over your own creations?" she asked, not angrily, just curiously.

"Vivian was too easily persuaded... She would give into anyone if she could have Mario with her... Goombella only wanted to be friends with Vivian, so she was not suitable... Beldam, Marylin and Kammy had no backbone, and had no real power... They only did as they were told, and only taking orders leaves no true power... Doopliss would only prank and trick people, he was never truly evil... And Mario was too powerful to be left alive." I told her calmly, knowing I could win her over.

"What about Peach?" she asked, again out of curiosity.

"Unfortunately, between both the brainwashing and the double possession, the real Peach got lost somewhere that can never be reached..." I explained.

"Wow... So Peach is really gone?" Daisy was clearly in shock.

"Yesss... But... Her body is being put to good use..." I told her.

"What makes you think I wouldn't turn on you?" she queried.

"Although you are determined, you also know when to quit. When you see a losing fight, you back away and give in..." I told her confidently. Her aura was turning darker and darker, as I pushed harder and harder for her to join me.

"Okay then! I am at your service, my queen!" she replied in her usual cheery tone.

"Yesss... Good..." I muttered. There is no feeling better than corrupting an innocent soul. "Muh huh huh huh huh... Now, I have truly secured my rule over this pathetic land."

"Oh, one last thing. Have you ever heard of a guy called Luigi?" Daisy asked me.

"No... Why do you ask?"

"I wouldn't mind having him around, and he's quite powerful. He's just as strong as Mario, but more easily manipulated. It might be quite hard to get him to turn on Mario, though..." she told me.

"He certainly sounds like he could be of use..." I snapped my fingers, and a dark glow encased Daisy. He dress turned a light grey, and her centre gem turned from pleasant turquoise into a dark purple. The flower petals surrounding the gem became spikes, but unlike Peach, her skin stayed the same. I left her some magic as well, and she used this magic to summon the man called Luigi. This man puffed into the air, and looked around confused.

"WHATS-A GOING ON HERE?" he yelled, clearly distressed. "I was just on holiday on Isle Delfino... Now where am I?" he thought aloud, clearly over his initial confusion.

"Hey, Luigi!" Daisy said cheerfully, giving him a peck on the cheek.

"Oh! Hey-a there, Daisy!" he said, blushing from the kiss. "Where am I? What's going on? Who's she?" he asked her, gesturing towards me at the end.

"Well, that spirit is the Shadow Queen, this is Peach's Castle changed to fit her better because she's currently conquering the world, and I summoned you here to change you to our side."

"W-what do you mean 'our side'? Are you helping her?" Luigi asked, clearly getting more nervous.

"Of course! That's where I got my new dress from!" she told him, twirling herself around to show off her new look. "Please join me Luigi... It'll be so fun! We can live a happy life, without being overshadowed by Peach and Mario!"

"Ok..." he said. "WAIT! WHAT HAPPENED TO MARIO?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BRO?" AND PEACH AS WELL!" he suddenly yelled.

"Luigi... Calm down..." Daisy said in a soothing tone, instantly making him less jumpy. "Peach was possessed, brainwashed, and possessed again, so she's a goner. A dragon called Doomtail has taken her body for itself." She told him, gesturing towards Doomtail, who was picking the bones of a Toad she'd eaten. "And Mario's soul was forced into a painting again." Luigi sighed at this, which I later found out was because a few months ago a certain King Boo had trapped Mario in a painting. "But I'm sure you could visit him if you wanted! Right, my queen?" she looked at me. I silently nodded. "Please Luigi... Just imagine, us ruling with the Shadow Queen! We could live together in a castle, have fun competitions, get married..."

"Wait, get married?" Luigi suddenly seemed alert and stared at Daisy's eyes.

"Well, of course, silly! At least, if that's what you want..." Daisy said playfully, hiding fear of getting rejected.

"Of course... If joining this Shadow Queen means we get married, then yes! I am your humble servant, my queen..." Luigi told me.

"Yesss... Good... You have done well, Daisy... Muh huh huh huh huh! At last, the world is truly mine..." I smirked, as Luigi and Daisy looked at each other lovingly. I rolled my eyes, as I looked over my balcony, at a world that was now truly mine...

"One last thing, my queen! Can I keep these overalls? I rather like them, and we've been through a lot together." he asked me.

"Of course..." I muttered. I had finally taken this world... And I would never let it go...

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this story, because this is the last chapter! Also, for those of you wandering where Luigi has been, I decided it would be best to add him at the end, because I thought it would be fun for Daisy to convert Luigi to evil. Also, I chose Daisy as the survivor because I feel like she's overshadowed by Peach, similar to how Mario overshadows Luigi. Thanks again for reading, and I really hope you liked it!
