Chapter Twenty Five – The Last Helmsley Rises
Ritz-Carlton Hotel
Seth turned to his side with a smile on his face after a night of making love to his wife.
Sasha was covered up in the bed sheets so Seth let her sleep and got up to have a shower.
When he got out his cell-phone was ringing and he saw that the Rock was calling him.
"Hey Seth, is Bayley with you?" he asked Seth and Seth furrowed his brow.
"No, why do you ask?" he said suddenly feeling nauseous at the mention of Bayley's name.
"Sasha came to my hotel room, she gave me the necklace but I can't find Bayley, I thought you might know where she is," Rocky said.
"What are you talking about?" Seth asked and he saw a call was coming in from Bianca Belair. "Rocky I'll call you back, I gotta take this call," he said and he switched to Bianca. "Hello, what's up B?"
"Seth, something terrible has happened," Bianca said from the airport that was just a few minutes' drive away from the hotel Seth was staying at. "The God girls are on our way to see you right now,"
"I told you four to look after Sasha, now you're coming here too? What do I have to do to get you guys to listen to me?" Seth said.
The God girls were exiting out of customs and made their way from the airport to Seth's hotel.
"Right now Seth, you need to listen to me," Bianca said as the God girls hurried to the hotel in a taxi. "Sasha and Bayley made an exchange. Last night, Sasha took the necklace out of your shorts and threw it out the window where Bayley was waiting to catch it. Bayley used the necklace and invoked a spell that released a shape-shifting demon. They switched bodies Seth, you slept with Bayley last night,"
The colour drained from Seth's face as he turned and looked at his hotel bed. Slowly, he stepped towards it and he stretched out his hand and yanked the bed sheet back and saw Bayley sleeping underneath. He ran into the bathroom and filled an ice bucket with freezing cold water and then emptied it over her so she woke straight up.
"Urgh, now that was a rude awakening," Bayley said wiping the water from her face. "You would have thought after all that love-making that you'd be happy to see me Seth,"
"What did you do with my wife?!" Seth yelled out.
"We made a deal, a deal that was a long time coming, to make up for the something blue that you tried to take away from me, something that Sasha gave me out of the warmth of her own heart. She gave me something borrowed, she gave me her husband for one glorious night and I gave my virginity to the only man I ever loved," Bayley said trembling from the cold water. "It was so worth it Seth, I finally got what I want and Sasha proved that I was right all along. She never loved you, not as long as I was unhappy with how things turned out between us. Our friendship is stronger than your marriage ever will be and that's why she agreed to the exchange. She gave you to me for one night Seth and in return, she proved that I mean more to her than you or God, ever will,"
Seth shook his head, "I don't understand, you weren't in bed with me, I was in bed with Sasha," he said and Bayley disappeared before his very eyes and in her place stood Sasha wearing the sapphire necklace and nothing else. It was then that Seth realised what Bianca was talking about, "Sasha, what have you done?" he said holding onto her noticing her hair had changed from blue to black.
"I just wanted all the fighting to stop, so I gave Bayley the only thing she would ever accept to give me a happy, drama-free life. I gave her you, now she'll leave us alone Seth. Don't you see? It was all worth it, now we can finally be happy!" Sasha explained and Seth pulled his hands threw his hair incensed by what had taken place.
"I slept with Bayley and you're happy?!" Seth asked appalled. "This is a nightmare Banks, I don't even know if you're really standing here right now,"
"No Seth, it doesn't matter now, the deal is done and I'm here in the flesh. You didn't know it was Bayley and your hands are clean. The necklace gave Bayley access, it was the only way to get around the adultery loophole. You're guilt free, you didn't commit adultery. God can't punish you for what happened because you didn't know anything about it," Sasha said and Seth shook his head.
"You don't understand what you've done do you? This is witchcraft and you used it on me, your own husband!" Seth cried and he ripped the necklace from Sasha's neck and stomped on it but it didn't break. He realised that Sasha was still under its spell and he couldn't break it until she had repented of what she had done. "Sasha, I need you to ask God to forgive you for what you did,"
"But I didn't do anything wrong," Sasha protested defiantly.
"You're still disobeying me!" Seth said and he felt light-headed, "Sasha please, forget about wanting to be the Boss for a second and just tell God you're sorry for what you did,"
"But I'm not sorry," Sasha said and she walked towards the bathroom before turning back to Seth with a smile, "you're not the only one who can bring a plan together God boy," she said before getting in the shower, leaving Seth with a queasy feeling in his stomach.
He reached for his cell-phone but Roman was already on his way over. The God girls had gone to get him and they were just outside Seth's hotel room.
"Why isn't he opening the door?" Becky asked and Bianca looked at Roman.
"Kick the door open," she said and Roman didn't hesitate. The Big Dog kicked the door in and Seth was on the floor unconscious in a pool of vomit. Roman took Abiyah while the God girls attended to Seth. They lifted his head out of the vomit and wiped his face clean and took him over to the window seat by the other side of the hotel room. Bianca used the room service menu to fan him down while Charlotte and Alexa cleaned up the vomit.
"Come on Seth wake up!" Becky said shaking Seth by the shoulders.
"He's okay, God's having a conversation with him. He's just in a trance, he'll snap out of it when God's finished talking to him," Bianca said and Becky heard the shower spray and she dived into the bathroom and attacked Sasha Banks.
"Get off me you crazy b***!" Sasha cried out as Charlotte and Alexa pulled Becky off of her.
"Will you put some clothes on?" Bianca said to Sasha and the Boss saw the necklace and tried to grab it but Charlotte got to it first. "As soon as Seth comes around we're all gonna know the consequences of your actions Sasha and trust me, you are not going to like it,"
"Get dressed you ugly cow," Becky said to her and Sasha gave the God girls a nasty look.
"When are you going to learn, he's my husband, not yours. I know what I did and I don't care about the consequences," Sasha said and she got dressed while the God girls stared her down while waiting for Seth to return from his conversation with God.
Roman took Abiyah down to Eagle beach away from all the drama with his parents and Faith Star came running up to him suddenly. The DX family was surrounding the water, something was going on.
"Uncle Roman, bring Abiyah quickly!" Faith Star said and Roman came over to see what was going on and he saw Hayworth Helmsley lying on the sand unconscious.
"He drowned at sea," Mac said crying. "He fell out of the boat and the sharks brought him back to the sand,"
Abiyah sat next to Hayworth and pulled one of his healing stars from his curly black hair and put it on Hayworth's chest. Moments later, Hayworth was revived and the DX family rejoiced.
"Praise the Lord!" Shawn cried out and Hunter reached down and pulled Hayworth to his feet.
"You should have let me drown," Hayworth said as Roman hugged Abiyah. "I'll never forgive you for what you've done to me,"
"What is he talking about?" Roman asked Faith Star and the little DX kid shrugged thinking Hayworth must have drunk too much saltwater.
"I'm talking about your best friend Roman," Hayworth said. "I'd warn him to be on his best game because I am going to come after him with everything I've got. He'll regret ever stealing my inheritance from me,"
"What?!" the DX children exclaimed and Chyna looked at Hunter in disbelief.
"Hunter, what is he talking about? Did you sign over Hayworth's inheritance to Seth Rollins?!" Chyna demanded and Roman saw the angry faces of the DX children looking back at him.
"You had no right to do that Dad," Aurora said to her father. "How could you be so cruel?! Hayworth's your firstborn son?!"
"Let's get out of here little man," Roman said to Abiyah, "we'll come back and play with the sharks later,"
The sound of that made Abiyah very happy but Roman didn't know where to go; Seth was still unconscious and the DX family were having an argument that he really didn't want to be a part of. He already knew what Hunter had done and he was happy for Seth. He decided to head back to the hotel and wait for his wife and children to show up. He needed something to take his mind off of all this drama.
Meanwhile, in the Heavenlies, Seth Rollins was walking with Jesus and talking about the whole Bayley situation.
"Here's the thing Seth, Satan has a legal right to punish you because of what happened," Jesus said.
"But I didn't know I was sleeping with Bayley," Seth said.
"I know so I asked my Dad if I could get involved, that's kind of my thing, I intercede on people's behalf. What I asked my Father was if, instead of allowing Satan to punish you for sleeping with another woman on a technicality, I could take Bayley's life for using witchcraft and cheating on her husband with a married man," Jesus said.
"So you think Bayley should die too," Seth said and Jesus looked at him sincerely.
"You sound disappointed, sin must be punished Seth and what Bayley did is worthy of death," Jesus said. "I can only intercede for those who confess their sin and ask me to forgive them. Bayley has not done that, therefore I have a right to take her life and sentence her to eternal damnation,"
"Hell is forever, I don't want her to go there," Seth said.
"Seth, you are a lot like me and I love how merciful you've been but you are married and you have gotten to the point of valuing Bayley's life over your own. That is not how marriage works, if you allow Bayley to live, she will continue to interfere with your marriage to Sasha." Jesus said.
"I think I would rather Bayley come to her senses than have her taken out early for what she's done. I'm willing to give her as many chances as it takes, I do not want her to die in her sins," Seth said.
"Seth, you realise that by giving Bayley yet another chance to repent, the God girls are going to have to work over-time to protect you and your family from further attacks. That is a lot to ask four young women who are still relatively new to Christianity. It would be a lot easier if you would just let me deal with her," Jesus said. "I know that sounds harsh but my Father would have killed her a long time ago, I'm the nice member of the God head,"
"I have an idea but I don't know if the God girls will go for it," Seth said and he told Jesus his idea.
"So, you want me to punish your wife instead of Bayley?" Jesus said.
"This would never have happened if Sasha listened to me in the first place. My plan keeps Bayley alive and it will teach my wife to respect me," Seth said.
"If we do it your way, I will have no choice but to remove the protection I put around you that keeps you from lusting after other women. That means, when news gets out that your marriage is in trouble, there are going to be a lot of women trying to get into a relationship with you. Do you think you can handle that?" Jesus asked Seth.
"I can handle it Jesus, I've got the God girls and they've always got my back. I'll be fine," Seth said.
"Okay, so let it be Seth Rollins. I'll ask my Father to give Satan access to your wife. Bayley will remain untouched. You really care for her don't you?" Jesus said and Seth nodded.
"Yes Lord, I do," Seth replied and when he opened his eyes he saw the worried faces of the God girls surrounding him.
"Seth we're so glad you're back!" Charlotte said as Seth sat up.
"What did God say?" Alexa asked him and Seth saw Sasha applying her make-up on the other side of the room, she didn't even seem to care that he had regained consciousness.
"Why don't I tell you about it over breakfast? I'm starving," Seth said and the God girls exchanged glances.
"You're in a good mood, Jesus must be happy with you," Bianca said as they left the hotel room and headed to the restaurant where Roman was sitting with his wife, his children and Abiyah.
"He's always happy with me, I can't say the same for my wife," Seth said and Bianca got a message from God.
"I'm glad the King of Kings is happy with you Seth, as Hayworth Helmsley just called Stephanie McMahon and he's joining up with her against you and DX for stealing his half of the DX family fortune," Bianca said and Roman and Seth exchanged cool glances while Abiyah played with Faith Star in-between them.
"You know, we really should make this our official vacation," Roman told Seth.
"I couldn't agree with you more, old friend," Seth replied and they clinked their glasses of fresh orange juice together as Bianca told them how the last Helmsley planned to get back at Seth Rollins for stealing his family inheritance. Then the Shield brothers ate a hearty Aruban breakfast with Abiyah, Faith Star, the God girls, Galina and the other Reigns children on the last few days of their guys' trip, a trip that they thoroughly intended to enjoy in-spite of all the chaos going on around them. Seth and Roman weren't in a hurry to go back to America, or reality, anytime soon.
