CHAPTER 4: ADVENTUROUS ANIMALS

While the gang were at the beach, Snoopy, Gracie, Woodstock, and Hops decided to have their own fun, by going on some adventures of their own. Snoopy and Gracie dressed in their safari outfits. Hops agreed to give them rides in her pouch. We hear Snoopy's inner monologue:

Here's the world-famous explorer and his assistants about to explore the treacherous Bush Country of Australia. He has managed to have a guide help them out (Hops) with their journey and show them the way through the wild. What will we encounter? Snakes? Crocodiles? Dingoes? The latter I hope because, cousins.

Woodstock managed to get some birds who looked like him, except they were red, to help out.

I see my assistant Woodstock managed to get more hands, or wings, on deck for help. As we traverse the wilds of the Outback, we wonder what we will encounter. The Bush is unforgiving and there aren't any promises that we will be back.

The birds hid in Hop's pouch when Snoopy said that.

"It was just an expression!" Snoopy retorted.

Later, Snoopy, Gracie, Woodstock, Hops, and the red birds, continued on their journey through seemingly the Bush of Australia. He hear some more monologue from Snoopy:

We seemed to have made it to a lake. We never know what could be in this lake. While it might not be a saltwater crocodile, it could very well be their freshwater counterparts, which are smaller and more shy, but still dangerous, nonetheless. We traverse the lake carefully.

The pets ended up in a girl's wading pool. She looked at the assortment of animals in her pool. Snoopy and Gracie smile with embarrassment.

"Y' doggies, birds, an' kangaroo get out o' my bloody pool now!" the girl yelled. As they left, Snoopy placed a kiss on the girls cheek and followed suit.

"Why were they wearin' safari suits, though?" she wondered.
