My own twist to the episode Horrificator from season 1.
"I'm only doing this as a favor, you know. As soon as Mylene comes back, she'll have her old roll back." Marinette said, while raising her finger at Alya who sat next to her smirking.
"Of course she will chill out." Alya said while pretending to be innocent. "And just think, after tonight you will finally have kissed Adrien~" Alya held up Marinette's head to look at Adrien and she quickly hid behind the script to hide her blushing face.
Meanwhile, Chloé, Sabrina, Kim and Max arrived at the school nurse's office. Chloé was about to open the door when realisation hit her. She gasped and turned around.
"Hey, wait a minute! Marinette never liked my ideas! I think you have all been duked!" She exclaimed while pointing at Kim and Max. They both took a step back in fear and listened to Chloé.
"You guys take care of the nurse uniform thing just in case." Chloé angry, walked off with Sabrina and the boys were left alone in front of the nurse's office.
Kim turned around after hearing a strange sound and asked if Max had heard the same. He said no and Kim shrugged his shoulders. Suddenly, behind them something appeared and they both screamed in surprise.
Back to the classroom. Adrien was getting his makeup done by Julika and Marinette stared at him adoringly. "Totally unbelievable." She sighed dreamingly.
Apparently Adrien heard and turned his head to Marinette. "What's that?" He asked and Marinette freaked out a little.
She stumbled on her words, but managed to say something believable. "Uhh..I said...uhh...it's got to be believable."
Adrien smiled and put a hand on her shoulder to bring them closer together. "Don't worry, you'll do fine." Marinette smiled back and they stood in front of each other. Already very close.
"Ready to roll? Camera.." Nino called out and Alix put the clapper board in front of the camera, who was already rolling.
"Horrificator, take 16." She said in a bored ass tone.
"Action!" Nino called enthusiastically.
"I'm not scared of that monster, Officer Jones." Marinette said the last part softer and avoided Adrien's stare at her.
Adrien smiled and put his hands on Marinette's waist. She put her hands on his chest and their faces came closer and closer….
"Cut!" Chloé opened the classroom door and Adrien and Marinette got out of their almost kiss and turned to a fuming Chloé.(A/N: Thought this was the change, eh. Well, no! It will only get better trust me ;))
"I knew it!" Chloé stared at Marinette angry and Nino stopped filming.
"What did I say about other people saying cut?" He asked out loud. Annoyed that there was another disturgen. And, maybe because he wanted Mari and Adrien to kiss.
"Well played Marinette." Chloé ignored Nino's comment and walked over to the bluenette. "All that speech about working together, then you stab me right in the back."
Adrien was glaring daggers at Chloé and Marinette was too shocked to say anything. She didn't even want to do this in the first place! I mean sure, she wanted to kiss Adrien, but she wanted Mylene to get this role.
"Well, your stupid little movie won't make into the festival if I'm not in it, because my daddy is one of the judges!" Chloé kept on rambling about how she was supposed to be the main star when two screams were heard from the hallway.
Everybody stopped what they were doing and all looked terrified at the door. "Did you guys hear that?" Adrien asked. Wanting to know if he wasn't the only one who heard these horrific screams.
Marinette quickly walked to the windows and stood on the table. "If this is one of your silly polys to get me out of the way, then you can forget it, besides-" Chloé was cut off by more screams and everyone turned quiet once again.
"I definitely heard that." Marinette said. Right now she has her Ladybug mode on. "We better scope this out." Marinette walked out of the classroom and everyone reluctantly followed her.
They ran down the stairs to the main place where everyone sat in breaks. Nino started recording and you saw Marinette down the stairs.
"Hey! Anybody here? Kim? Max?" Adrien called out. Marinette had run to some pink gooey slime on the ground and Adrien continued to call out for his classmates.
Nino, Marinette and the rest of the class now surrounded the pink goo and Marinette started thinking. "I saw the same pink goo…" She gasped. "In the bathroom!"
She had picked up a sweat absorber that was on the ground next to the pink goo and walked over to Adrien with a sad face. "That's Kim's." Adrien concluded.
"They've vanished!" Nathaniel exclaimed in horror. Alya rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"Or they're playing a sick joke on us." Alya concluded.
"We should go to principal Damocles and tell him what's going on." Marinette said.
At this point she had to make a choice. Stay with the class and help them. Or transform into Ladybug and help them. Marinette was stuck between these two, but quickly thought which one was best.
"Nino c'mon, stop filming." Marinette turned to Nino and hoped he would stop, so she could turn into her alter ego.
"Not a chance, this is just getting good." He replied. Marinette slumped in defeat and made her choice.
Adrien was trying to slip away so he could change into his alter ego when Nino caught him. "Yo, Adrien. Where are you going?" His best bud asked. Adrien turned around and quickly made up a lie.
"I left Officer Jones' jacket back there. Should probably be wearing it in all the scenes." Adrien nervously scratched the back of his head, hoping Nino would buy it. And surprisingly he did!
Nino just nodded and Adrien ran back to the classroom. "Time to transform, Plagg." Adrien said as he arrived in the classroom. He took off his shoe and put it in front of Plagg's face.
"What are you doing?" The black kwami asked and gasped at how his shoe stunk.
"So they'll think I've disappeared too." Adrien threw his shoe on the ground and Plagg mumbled something in the background.
"Plagg, Claws Out!"
The class arrived at the office of Mr. Damocles and Marinette knocked on the door. "Mr. Damocles, sir?" Marinette opened the door and everyone gasped. Mr. Damocles was not in his office.
"Even principal Damocles is nowhere to be found." Rose said. They all walked further into the classroom and Marinette knew then that she could not leave her class behind. She had to stay Marinette until it was a better time to transform.
"Anyone seen Adrien?" Nino asked and realisation hit everyone and they all ran out of the office, only to find the school covered in slime and with no way out.
"We're trapped! I'm going to call daddy!" Chloé exclaimed while trying to open a window.
Nino rolled his eyes and said: "Dude, you know cell phones never work in horror movies?" He stated as a matter of factly.
Marinette decided it was time to get in charge. "We need to evacuate the building, ok?" She told everyone.
"Uh-uh." Everyone gasped and turned to the door to see Chat Noir standing there in all his glory. "Easier said than done, Princess." Marinette grimaced at the nickname and the rest of the class exchanged confused stares.
"I tried to cut through the goo, but it's totally indestructible. So, it looks like we're trapped inside the school for now." Chat Noir said. Marinette rolled her eyes, but nodded.
"Hawkmoth has taken another victim. And I think it might be Mylene." Marinette concluded. The rest of the class nodded and Chat turned to Marinette.
"Ladybug probably didn't make it to school in time. Care to help me out again, Princess?" Again the class was very confused and surprised, but even more so when Marinette nodded.
"Let's go find our missing classmates." Marinette said and Nino continued to film. Very excited that Chat Noir was here and very confused that Marinette was so casual with him.
They all followed Chat and Marinette, and they followed the goo on the floor. Without anyone knowing, Chloé and Sabrina cut off from the rest of the group and went on their own.
They all ran back into the classroom where they had filmed just moments ago, just to see a shoe lying on the ground.
"That's Adrien's shoe!" Nino called out. Marinette looked around the shoe and knelt down.
"That's weird, there is no pink slime here." In the background you could see Chat silently panicking until Nathaniel's voice was heard.
"Yes, there is." He said while looking behind the teacher's desk. Nathaniel was suddenly grabbed by something blue and you could hear him screaming and a creature snarling.
All heads turned to the desk, which was flown to the other end of the room after. Showing the creature holding Nathaniel and everyone cowered away in fear. Well, except Julika.
"Everybody run!" Marinette called out and they all obeyed her except for Nino and Julika. The monster got to Julika and screamed in her face, but all she called out was 'awesome'.
The monster shrunk and Marinette saw the change. The monster almost spewed her with slime, but Marinette quickly grabbed her arm and tugged her away.
Now, the creature was focused on Chat, who said some snarky comments. Nino was still there and filming. Marinette came back and grabbed his arm. Chat landed next to her and Marinette called out.
"We better find out where the Akuma is hiding." This surprised Chat. First, she knew what an Akuma was. Second, there was not a single threat of fear on her face. And lastly, she sounded like Ladybug. Chat quickly shook that thought out of his head.
"I don't see anything. Just miles of slime." Chat called out after recovering from shock. The creature again spewed slime and threw Chat Noir and Marinette out of the classroom. Chat quickly grabbed Marinette and landed perfectly on the ground.
The monster jumped after them and Chat released Marinette and threw her to the other side. "Help!" Nathaniel shouted in fear. And Nino was still filming.
"Chat, it's fear that gives its strength." Marinette called out after standing beside her partner. Chat nodded and the monster spewed goo again. It was headed towards Marinette, but to everyone's surprise, she jumped out of the way.
Chat quickly took the slime and turned his baton on a fan, so it would not reflect on him. He ran towards the creature and jumped under it. Hitting its leg with his baton, but the baton broke in half and the other end made its way to Marinette.
The creature was now strolling towards Chat who was on the ground and Marinette made a quick decision. She grabbed the baton and threw it towards the creature's head. It hit the target and the creature slightly lost its balance. The baton made its way back to Marinette and she caught it effortlessly.
Eyes widened at Marinette's skill and bravery and even Chat was at a loss for words. He quickly stood up, though and ran to Marinette. But, Chat was stopped when the creature grabbed him and threw him to the wall. The other end of the baton was now with Marinette as well and she connected the pieces together.
Right now, she was furious. She closed her eyes and exhaled. She opened them and her face showed determination. All eyes were in her now and Chat was in too much pain to move.
Marinette gripped the baton tightly and ran to the creature. She put the stick on the ground and pushed a button so it would extend. She reached above the creature and did a somersault in the air. She landed gracefully behind the creature and hit it with the baton.
While she was flying her hair ties came loose and her hair was resting on her shoulders. Mouths were hanging on the floor and Marinette was too occupied to notice. The creature turned around to her and she hit it again, only this time on the head. A small crack was heard as a black butterfly flew away from the creature.
Marinette used the same thing she did when she went over the creature, but this time to capture the Akuma. The creature had turned back to Mylene and Marinette was again safely on the floor with her right fist clenched on the Akuma.
Chat stood up and ignored the pain. He ran over to Marinette and stood still in front of her. "How did you do that?" Was the first thing he asked. Marinette smirked and somehow that made Chat's legs jelly.
"My mother is Chinese and knows Kung Fu. I picked up a few things." She said as if he should have known. The goo that surrounded the school fanished and so did the goo in the storage room under the school, releasing the rest of the kids who were trapped.
Marinette handed Chat's baton back and raised her finger to her lips, indicating that he had to be quiet. She opened up her hand where the Akuma was in, only to show that it had turned back into a white butterfly. Chat gasped, but put his hand over his mouth.
Marinette was Ladybug. Only Ladybug could purify the Akuma. His Lady was his Princess. "I'll tell you everything later." She whispered and turned to her stunned classmates. Chat sighed dreamingly, but quickly shook his head and found a classroom to detransform.
That night.
It was all over the news of how a high school girl saved her school and classmates. Marinette hated the attention. Sure, she got it as Ladybug, but as Marinette was just too overwhelming.
She was also regretting showing Chat that she had purified the Akuma. Even though she was surprised herself. She had no idea that she could do it without her yo-yo.
"It's okay Marinette. You did what you thought was right." Tikki had tried to reassure her for the past couple hours, but it didn't really help. She was at least glad that only Chat Noir had found out. And not the entirety of Paris.
"No Tikki, this is a disaster! Chat will never want to be my partner again now that he found out I'm just plain ol' Marinette!" Marinette exclaimed. Tikki wanted to say something, but a voice beat her to it.
"Why would I hate you, Princess?" Marinette turned to her trapdoor that led to her balcony and saw Chat Noir sitting on her bed.
Marinette slumped down in her chair and put her head on the table. "Because I'm me." She mumbled. Chat frowned and looked at her kwami. Tikki shrugged and Chat climbed down to her desk.
"Marinette, you are amazing. I could never ask for a better Ladybug. You're kind, selfless and you always stand up for others." Chat gently grabbed Marinette's chin and guided towards his face. "No one would be better than you."
Marinette blushed and avoided eye contact. Chat just smiled and hugged her. She hugged back and started to tear up. "Thank you, Chat."
Chat smiled again and released the hug. "I think you should know who I am too." Marinette nodded and stepped back a little. "Claws In." There was a bright green light and Marinette had to close her eyes a little.
When she opened them, Adrien Agreste stood in the place where Chat was supposed to be. Marinette gasped and put her hand on her mouth.
"It's just me, Adrien."
