Here it is. The heavily delayed chapter. The reason it was so delayed? Because I wasn't sure if I would have the energy to create a 300k fan fiction and I spent a long time debating "do I really have the time for this"
As you can probably guess I said "screw it let's create this story" so yeah. Here we go. An update after three weeks of nothing. Hope this keeps you around for the next one. Not the best quality and pretty short but eh, I don't mind That much. And if your going to be like "you shouldn't put out things your not proud of" if that was the case this would have died months ago and I would never learn anything so shush.
So yeah, here you go
"Hey, hey Weiss."
"Nora, let her sleep."
"But Ren, she's going to miss class if she doesn't wake up."
"Then could you stop leaning over her at least, you don't want to frighten her."
"She isn't an animal Ren, I highly doubt Nora's face would scare anyone."
"Would you like to wake up to a person leaning over you Isaak?"
"No. But if there's one person in beacon who I wouldn't get mad at it's Nora."
"Perhaps. Nora would you not do that?"
Weiss shifted as she felt something poke her in the arm, and mumbled out something that probably meant "go away."
"Wake up sleepy head." Nora went back to poking Weiss despite Ren's protest "you can't miss the first day!"
Weiss tried to push the girl away but It was like moving a brick wall, and only encouraged Nora to continue poking.
"Leave me alone." Mumbled Weiss, the first intelligent thing she had said all morning. Which was saying something considering how long Nora had been trying to wake her up.
"Sorry" Nora didn't sound the slightest bit sorry, happy? Entertained? That and a lot more but sorry wasn't one of them.
"I don't think that's going to work Nora, "
"Yes it is" protested Nora "see, she's waking up."
One of Weiss's eyes fluttered open at the constant bugging and the first thing she saw that morning was a pair of pink eyes staring back at her.
"Yay, you're awake"
Weiss waited a couple of seconds for Nora to get away from her but the pink-haired girl just continued to lean over her with a smile.
"Nora."
"Yes, Weiss?"
"What are you doing?"
"Making sure you don't go back to sleep silly."
Weiss considered telling her to go away but she highly doubted that that would achieve anything, so she might as well get the day started.
She lightly shoved Nora from over her and sat up. Staring into the wall with a blank face before turning to her new teammates.
"How long until class"
"Thirty minutes"
"Which gives us." Isaak pointed a thumb towards the pile of suitcases in the corner of the room (most of which belonged to Weiss) "thirty minutes to figure that mess out"
Well, that should be simple, it couldn't be that difficult to unpack. Her butlers did it all the time, this would be easy.
...
Putting up stuff was not easy.
Or maybe it was and she was just stuck with people who had no clue how to pack.
"How did we end up with our beds stacked on each other?" Asked Weiss incredulously. At what point they somehow achieved that she didn't know. And she wasn't sure she wanted to know what went through their head when they did it.
"I don't think this is what they had in mind when they told us to fix our rooms" guessed Isaak. And Weiss shot him a glare.
"You think?" Asked Weiss and Isaak shrugged in answer as Nora squinted at the pile of beds with a surprisingly thoughtful look on her face.
"We'll do it later we have to get to class."
"Hold on" interrupted Isaak, gesturing to the pile of beds "we can't just leave it like that"
Weiss scowled "we'll come back to it later we'll have plenty of time.
"Sure you might not care but what if the rest of us make friends and want to bring them back here, what are we going to do have them sit on the floor"
Weiss glared at him "are you implying that I don't know how to make friends?"
"No, I'm not saying that, though you were awfully quick to jump to that conclusion weren't you?"
"I know how to make friends!"
"I'm sure you do." Agreed Isaak although he didn't sound very convincing.
"Why you-"
"Bunkbeds" interrupted Nora. Stopping the argument before it could start.
"What," Asked Weiss in confusion.
"Bunkbeds" repeated Nora, getting excited now as the idea took hold.
"What about bunk beds?"
"To sleep in! We can stack the beds on top of each other!"
"You know, that actually might work" considered Isaak and Weiss turned on him.
"Your kidding right?"
Isaak shrugged "why not, it would give us a lot more space to work with."
"We're huntsmen we don't know how to build a whole bed."
" We're trained to fight Grimm, how hard could it be to stack a couple of beds on top of each other?"
Weiss stared at him in disbelief before turning back to Ren, maybe he could talk some sense into these two.
But instead of being equally concerned, Ren nodded in agreement.
"It does sound like a good way to save space."
"We barely even have ten minutes until class!"
"Then we'll have to be quick about it, come on guys"
Weiss only watched in disbelief as the three of them began to unstack the pile of beds.
That settled it. Her team was insane.
Welp, here we are. An update.
Yes, this chapter was a lot shorter than the usual (it's half the length) but it was either that or risk me talking some sense into my brain and quitting.
Again no this isn't the highest quality but I don't care. If you're going to critique me (constructive criticism is always welcome) it wouldn't really be worth the effort considering that I already know this chapter isn't the best but it is something. Which is better than all of last month.
Not sure what I'll do next chapter. Probably a clash between Ruby and Weiss considering a plotline is supposed to happen soon (yes. I have a plot for all of volume one. I am prepared)
So yeah. I'm back I guess? I am extremely nervous about posting this because people seeing this terrifies me for some reason but I have to suck it up and face my fears.
Hope you have an amazing day.
