For this chapter, it's going to reflect on Reid and Morgan and they will be talking (by talking I mean texting) a lot to each other even though Reid doesn't want to. Reid's text's will be in SLANTED text while Morgan's will be in BOLD text.
As Reid continued to sit on the bench of the park and still had his phone in his hand, he looked around and saw couples smiling and holding hands.
Getting upset, he got up and looked at his phone before putting it away and started walking again.
He hummed to himself as he walked and closed his eyes and as he listened to himself hum and heard the birds tweet.
After a few minutes, he heard his phone buzz.
He took his phone out and looked at his phone: 'ONE NEW MESSAGE FROM DEREK MORGAN'
Sighing, he wanted to turn his phone off but found himself reading the message.
"Hey kid, what's wrong with you? You've been acting weird ever since yesterday. Tell me what's wrong"
Reid wondered whether he should respond or not but he ended up doing so.
"Does it matter it I say so or not?"
"Yes it does. Please tell me what's wrong"
"Why should I? It won't matter since you don't care about me"
"What do you mean I don't care about you kid? I really do care about you kid"
"You've never cared about me Derek. Stop trying to act like you do"
"I'm not acting kid"
"YES YOU ARE"
"I'm sorry kid. I didn't mean to make you feel bad for whatever I might have said to you. I truly am sorry kiddo"
"Don't try to sweet talk me Derek"
"Sweet talk? Why would I sweet talk to you?"
"Uh, no reason-"
"Your the last person I would ever sweet talk to kid"
At that moment, Reid felt a pain in his heart.
His eyes started to water and he felt a tear go down his face as he started having the memories he's had with Morgan.
He felt his phone buzzing in his hand but he didn't look down at his phone. Instead, he threw his phone in the trash and started running. He didn't know where he was running to but he just wanted to run away from his troubles. But he knew that he couldn't run from his troubles because troubles always follow.
As he continued running, he heard thunder in the distance and felt rain hit his face but he didn't stop running.
After a bit he slipped and fell but caught himself before fully hitting the ground.
"Tch... Why do I even love you Derek Morgan...?" Reid thought to himself.
As Reid slowly got up, he heard someone's footsteps behind him but he didn't turn around but when he felt two pair of hands who felt directly like Derek Morgan's, Reid looked behind and saw him helping him up.
"What are you doing out here kid? It's pouring!" Morgan yelled a bit.
"Leave me alone Derek..." Reid said slowly wiping his face hoping the rain hid his tears.
"No. I'm taking you back to the station" the older agent said as he tried to pull the younger agent.
"Stop Derek..." Reid said trying hard not to make his voice sound cracked as he pushed Morgan away from him. "Just leave me alone woll you?"
"Why kid?" Morgan said getting angry. "Why are you doing this?! Your pushing me away and your making me feel bad! Don't you feel anything for me?!"
"OF COURSE I DO!" Reid yelled at Morgan. "BUT RIGHT NOW I JUST DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU OKAY?! SO LEAVE ME ALONE!"
"WHAT"S WRONG REID?! TELL ME!" Morgan yelled back grabbing Reids wrists and pulling him closer to him. "WHAT DID I DO TO MAKE YOU BE LIKE THIS?!"
Reid began to cry again. He slowly got to his knees and Morgan let go of his wrists.
"P-please... Derek... J-just leave me alone..." Reid said quietly as he continued to cry.
"Fine." Morgan said as he got up and slowly walked away from Reid.
As Reid continued crying in the rain, all he could think about was:
"I love you Morgan... But I just want you to leave me alone from now on..."
