The nursery was cleverly crammed with cribs. Meghan and Julian shared one every time they stayed over at grandma's. Melinda's was put in there for the night to sleep with the other babies or she would have started fuzzing as soon as she was separated from the group. Angie had her own crib next to hers.

"Need a hand?" asked Phoebe entering the room.

"You can check on Mel while I finish changing Angie" Phoebe went over to her niece's crib who was already half asleep and blissfully dry.

"She's good to go. What about you, little girl?" she told Meghan who outstretched her arms towards her. Phoebe went over to pick her up. "Aren't they crammed in a single crib?"

"You'll need to discuss it with her. She keeps orbing to her brother's side whenever I put her in the other one" she smiled.

"Just wanna be around her brother and sister, isn't that so?" Phoebe said in a baby voice.

"Her brother, maybe. She's quite the mischief maker around her little sister" said Piper going over to check on Julian. "He's wet" she went to get a new diaper.

"I thought they had started potty training"

"They did, but still have accidents during bed time. They're getting there"

"I can't believe they're leaving diapers behind at all. Reminds me of my girls. Bianca wore them till she was three" Phoebe's face fell as she dwelled in the memories of her own first baby.

"Kids took off, yet?" asked Piper starting to change her grandchild, looking at Phoebe's nostalgic expression.

"They just did. Praline and Paddy still have a hard time seeing her go"

"And you?" Phoebe rolled her eyes.

"She seems happy" Phoebe admitted to herself.

"Jackson seems like a good kid"

"Yeah, and he does seem to make her happy"

"The bastard"

"I know, right?" Phoebe chuckled sarcastically.

"You should be thankful she's doing well on her own"

"This coming from the woman who used magic to see if her son was suited for his wife"

"Ancient history. Let it go, woman" Now Piper rolled her eyes. Phoebe smiled at her sister's annoyance.

"Bianca and Jackson said we could come by any time"

"Are you gonna take her up on that?" Piper now turned to give her her full attention.

"I think I might. If she's this happy, I think I owe her that much"

"Good for you. What does Coop say about it?"

"Let's see… when Bianca first ran off, he would only tell me we were all entitled to follow our hearts and that all my feelings about it were allowed…"

"And… he is wrong how? Whatever this is leading to, she needs to know you guys'll be there for her regardless"

"I know. She's great right now which is not easy to admit" Phoebe sighed. "I, however, need some extra support. So… would you and Leo come along with us?"

"I don't know, Phoebe. What if they wanna talk to you about something and we're just getting in the way"

"Unlikely on the first visit. Plus, you, unlike my husband, can tell me to zip it if I start to get carried away and try to meddle… unintentionally, of course. Pretty please?"

"Isn't being an empath gonna help you feel if anything's off? You know, shut yourself up?"

"That's kinda the problem, I might let my emotions say too much and I don't wanna spoil my daughter's happiness because I can't control myself. You have to admit a cupid with love on the brain 24/7 isn't exactly the right candidate to tell me I'm crossing a line" Phoebe stared at her big sister imploringly. Piper sighed.

"I'll discuss it with Leo and let you know, ok?"

"Could you discuss it before Friday? Cause we kinda said we were all going then"

"You sneaky…"

"Love you" Phoebe hugged Piper cutting her words short.

"Cheat"

Friday came a lot faster than Phoebe could have anticipated, even being her. Melinda would spend the day at Wyatt and Sam's. Along with Chris and Bianca, they were planning a game slash movie day. Demons were still very scarce and Paige's clan was on duty for the week. They'd decided to take turns to give each other some living time. Still, if there were any trouble, they would activate the phone tree and / or call the cavalry which were Wyatt and / or Chris.

Phoebe, Coop, Piper and Leo arrived at Bianca's with a goodie basket.

"I know it's a bit late for housewarming gifts but…" said Piper presenting the basket.

"We love it, thank you very much" said Jackson taking it off her hands.

"We would have brought it earlier but then again we didn't know exactly where…ouch… enjoy it" said Phoebe as Piper discreetly pinched her with a nonchalant smile on her face.

"Smells delicious" said Cooper. "Well done, honey" Bianca and Jackson exchanged looks for a second.

"Well, actually dad… I didn't cook today"

"Oh…"

"That's awesome" said Leo encouragingly, wiping away Coop's awkward moment.

"Thanks, Uncle Leo" said Bianca holding Jackson's hand.

After an awkward introduction to their home, they sat down to eat and there was no other sound in the room other than the sound of cutlery. Piper nudged Phoebe half way through, rolling her eyes in the kids' direction.

"Umh… this is delicious, Jackson. Who taught you how to cook?" Piper's knee kept pushing against Phoebe's below the table. Phoebe kept pushing her away.

"My grandmother did. She raised me when my parents passed"

"Oh, sorry to hear that" said Piper, eyeing Phoebe to continue the conversation. "Our grandmother practically raised us too after mom died" She shoveled another spoonful into her mouth, smiling through puffy cheeks.

"Yes, Bianca has told me a lot about your family"

"How much is a lot?" Phoebe flinched as Piper stepped on her foot under the table.

"Don't worry. She's told me everything about your… skills. And… I'm cool with it" Phoebe's smile couldn't have been faker.

"Glad you feel that way" said Coop smiling from his daughter to Jackson.

"Excuse me. I need to use your bathroom" said Phoebe wiping her mouth on her cloth napkin before running off in search for the bathroom without asking for directions.

"She wasn't feeling well on the way here. I'll check on her" smiled Piper a moment later following suit.

"They'll be alright. How hard could it be to find a bathroom in an apartment?" joked Leo.

"It's not like we got portals to other dimensions all over the house" joked Jackson starting to laugh and stopping by clearing his throat as nobody laughed along. Bianca smiled at him nervously and patted his arm as Coop and Leo laughed faintly for his benefit clearly a second too late. In their world, that actually would have been feasible and nobody at the table actually considered him ready to deal with anything like that just yet.

"Phoebe?" said Piper knocking on the bathroom door, which she had shut almost in her face.

"Go away!"

"You asked me to come here today for a reason, now open this door!" Phoebe opened the door and returned to steady herself gripping on either side of the bathroom sink.

"He's cool with it? What does that even mean? He'll have no problem with who she is? What will happen when he comes face to face with a demon? I'm pretty sure he'll need a lot more than cool" she said exasperated.

"Phoebe… breathe. Sweetie, you're clearly fishing for a flaw here. This isn't you"

"This is me. I am her mother and if he can't deal with her magical life there's no point in…" Piper hugged her tight.

"Listen to me. We can't tell if he's gonna be OK with it all. But… we need to consider the possibility that he just might and…"

"And my baby girl isn't coming back home" Piper felt Phoebe tightened her grip on her.

"I love you" Piper stroke her hair lovingly.

"Love you too"

AT PHOEBE'S APARTMENT…

"Maybe we should have told mom to bring Bianca back" said Paddy staring out the balcony from the living room chair.

"Yeah, but we forgot to buy extra rope at home depot so she could tie her up properly. You know, so she won't run away back to her place?" said Praline from across the couch, feet up, her face behind a fashion magazine.

"I'm serious" Paddy gave her sister's feet a slap.

"I know you are, Paddy. But it's been months, we gotta start thinking that she really is happy on her own" Praline put down the magazine to face her younger sister who sighed miserably. "Mom and dad themselves have mixed feelings about the whole thing, it's no wonder you have them too"

"You don't?"

"Of course I do, she's my big sister. But… I kinda like seeing her this happy"

"I just miss her"

"I know"

"Maybe we should help mom deal with it"

"How do you mean help mom?"

"Well, you said so yourself. She has mixed feelings, dad too. What if we nudge her into favoring what she feels most strongly about?"

"What will that do?"

"Well, she could tell Bianca how she clearly feels and then she might decide to come back on her own"

"Paddy…"

"Why not? Worst case scenario she stays away. She already left us" Praline considered this for a moment, staring at her sister who suddenly seemed out of her flunk however momentarily.

"Alright. But… if Bianca chooses to stay, you need to promise me, you'll let her do whatever she needs to do to be happy, even if her… choices don't make us happy" Paddy's gloom crossed her face momentarily as she nodded in agreement.

Both sisters got to work on a spell, no real potions, just an old-fashioned candle burning, trying to keep it simple.

Magic high, magic low

Let our mom's thoughts aglow

Away from two sides' perspective

Let the right side be more active

The girls looked at each other for a moment, hoping Phoebe would somehow let them know if it made any difference, but as with any Halliwell spell for personal gain, they got a little more than they'd bargained for.
