Chapter 10: Support

Mikey was doing his utmost to stop trembling; yet at the same time wished he could shrink into nothing and not be seen. He was glad to be safe after that brief but horrifying ordeal, but the humiliation lingered strongly, his face was bright red as he had to sit while details of how he and Carl had been bound and gagged, worse that it had happened while they were in their swim team uniforms, tight Speedos which made it rather obvious how they had reacted to their torment.

"This is past a joke now, how dare you!?" Tammy Rose shrieked.

Mikey cringed. He was currently seated in the Principal's office with Carl next to him. Brandon and his two minions were also present, along with their families, Negan and the teachers involved in the rescue. His own parents were there which for Mikey only made his humiliation worse, them hearing what had happened to him. He knew it had to be bad for Carl too, his own parents being present, along with the police.

'Urgh, man, how could this get any worse?' He thought to himself.

The matter had been reported, to the Principal and now the police, the minions, to Mikey's surprise, looked terrified and their parents horrified. Only Brandon remained arrogant as usual, trying to act as if he had done nothing wrong while his parents backed him to the hilt.

Tammy Rose, a thin unpleasant looking woman with dark eyes and long blonde hair, was constantly interrupted at any chance she got. Meanwhile a furious looking thickset dark eyed man with balding brown hair and stubble with a hard glare, Morton Rose, kept trying to downplay the seriousness of the situation.

"If I can get this back on track." The Principal said firmly.

The Principal was tall, bald, dark skinned with grey eyes and clad in a typical grey suit. He normally tried to avoid any trouble or issues, especially with the notorious complaining Rose family. However he was buoyed up by the apparently fearless Negan who was countering every attempt by the Rose family to get out of trouble.

"This is a serious matter, Mr. and Mrs. Rose." He remarked. "Your boy and these two accosted Mr. Grimes and Mr. Carr and put them through a horrible situation-"

"It was just kids stuff, I don't see why you're making a big deal out of this!" Morton snapped.

Negan scoffed. "Oh yeah sure, cause it's just kids stuff when you tie innocent kids up and start harassing and tormenting them."

"How dare you!?" Tammy yelled. "My son would never-"

"He's provided all the evidence of it himself, he was caught in the act." Negan fired back. "Just because you're too delusional to accept it, doesn't mean it hasn't happened."

Carl and Mikey shared an awkward look; they had already told their stories and just wanted to stay quiet and for this to be over. It was humiliating enough without all this, everybody here seeing the pictures of them tied and gagged in their Speedos.

It certainly made things even more awkward between them, neither of them aware that the other had indeed been about to confess their true feelings and that the situation had caused them some feelings of arousal, namely the sight of each other so exposed.

"Regardless of your thoughts ma'am, the evidence is clear about what your son has done." Rick commented. "You need to accept that and understand that he is in serious trouble, all three of these boys are."

"He has done nothing but teach those worthless fags a lesson!" Tammy snapped.

"Excuse me!" Lori shrieked.

Rick instantly tried to calm her, trying to stop Lori from getting worked up due to her pregnancy. Not under any such restrictions Paula snapped.

"You disgusting witch!"

"Me?" Tammy scoffed. "I'm the victim here, my family is clearly being harassed by you lot."

Brandon just smirked, nodding while his father shook his head.

"All of you are clearly in this together, part of some conspiracy against our family, after all we've done to make this community a good place with our hard work." He snarled.

Negan again interrupted. "Oh here we go, the big speech about irrelevant bullshit. Get your head out your ass and focus on the fact your son is a bully and it's time for justice to be done. Especially since what's just happened is beyond bullying, hence why the police are here."

That once more cowed them into submission which allowed the Principal a chance to speak again.

"Yes, and all the evidence is clear enough...So I don't see what you hope to accomplish with this constant complaining." He said. "This wouldn't be the first time either, would it?"

All three members of the Rose family reacted to that; all flaring up in anger. But it was clear the tables had been turned against them.

Leaving the Principal's office, Carl and Mikey awkwardly glanced at each other, both looking away quickly, blushing. The awkwardness was even thicker between them. Their families were right behind them and they could still hear the arguing going on behind them until Rick shut the door. Looking up they saw Sophia and Anna there, looking at them worriedly.

"Um...We-" Mikey began, looking back at his parents.

Nicholas nodded. "Go ahead, we'll wait."

The others all nodded while Carl and Mikey hurried over to the girls.

"My God, are you guys okay?" Sophia asked at once, concerned.

Carl grimaced. "We...we could be better, but at least we're not hurt."

Mikey nodded. "Yeah; I mean...God, I can't believe they-"

"Look, I know it's bad, but at least it isn't going to go any further from here, right?" Anna said hopefully.

"Yeah." Mikey admitted. "All the pictures and that they took have been taken as evidence. The police are going to look into things further and might have to talk to us again."

"Oh my…" Anna gasped.

Carl shrugged. "Until then, we don't have to worry about those guys, at school at least. They are suspended pending a further investigation, with expulsion only being held back until everything has been confirmed. To be fair Brandon's minions at least seem to regret things and their parents are furious, at them."

"Well, at least some people aren't so boneheaded." Sophia quipped.

Relieved and glad to have support from their friends, Carl and Mikey felt better and hoped, as they left the school with their families, that they'd feel a lot better after all this was dealt with.
