Chapter 3

Sentinel was on the move for a while. He had sensed Optimus and went to him. But there would be others as well. He couldn't let them get in the way of getting his youngest son. He would stalk and wait for when Optimus would get alone. Then he would strike. After he took out Optimus, he would control these humans as their God.

~~~with Autobots, many days later

The Autobots and Decepticons have been on the move for a long while. Jessica and Anika had both agreed that one of them and a bot should go alone to Cade so they didn't spook him. The government had already sent out the message about the Autobots being dangerous and should be turned in.

"I think you and Optimus should go sis," said Anika.

"I was thinking the same," said Jessica. She looked up at Optimus from her position on him. "What do you think? Wanna go with me to get Cade and his daughter and boyfriend."

"I would very much like that," said Optimus, wanting to spend time with Jessica.

He felt so drawn to her, and the kiss she gave him a few days ago made him want her more.

"Then it's a date. But first, we gotta get you a new vehicle so that NEST doesn't find you," said Jessica. "Let's go."

She got off him, letting the Prime transform. He did so, opening his door for her. Jessica hopped on, looking at her sister.

"We'll be back sis. Stay here until then," said Jessica.

"Sounds good," said Anika. She turned to the others as the two left. "Looks like I'm in charge now."

"Sure you are," Crosshairs said.

"Bite me," said Anika. "I have to watch you all to make sure you don't get in trouble."

"I'm going to follow Optimus," said Megatron.

"Why?" Anika asked.

"I have a feeling I must," said Megatron, transforming and following through the sky.

Anika shrugged, going up to Ratchet and sitting down on him.

"And what do you think you're doing?" Ratchet asked.

"Sitting on you. What does it look like I'm doing?" Anika asked, grinning up at the medic.

Ratchet grumbled something she couldn't understand. Anika giggled.

"You're cute when you grumble," Anika said.

"I am not cute," Ratchet protested.

"Yeah, you are," Anika said.

Ratchet looked away, but made no move to remove her from him. He secretly enjoyed having her there on him.

~~~with Optimus

"Do that one," Jessica said, pointing to the Western Star.

Optimus scanned the vehicle, letting it change his form. Jessica smiled, remembering what Optimus looked like with this vehicle form. And damn was he hot and sexy.

"You approve of this," said Optimus, his sensors picking up her pheromone levels spiking up.

"Very much so," said Jessica.

They continued driving, still having many hours left. She was starting to dose off, feeling tired. Optimus let his holoform activate, watching as she slept while he drove on. She was so beautiful. But he had become distracted, not sensing another mech coming.

:Optimus!:

The sudden comm message from his brother startled Optimus. He looked around his surroundings, dread hitting his spark at seeing Sentinel. He transformed, waking up Jessica. He set her down, seeing Megatron transform and land next to him.

"Jessica, go," Optimus said. "I don't want you hurt."

"I won't leave you," said Jessica. "I'm not afraid of him."

"You should be, foolish human," Sentinel said. His optics moved to Optimus. "It has been a long time, Optimus."

"You are never touching him again, Sentinel," Megatron snarled, getting out his blade.

"Is that any way to speak to your sire?" Sentinel chastised.

"You are not our sire," said Megatron. "You will wish you were dead."

"You were always so foolish Megatron," Sentinel said. "You could have had the power of being a Prime. Not this thing."

"Shut up," Megatron growled, feeling annoyed. He would protect his brother from this so-called Prime.

Sentinel glared at Megatron, pulling out his cosmic rust gun. He was about to fire at the silver mech when it suddenly melted. He looked to the human femme, seeing her hands glowing red.

"You'll regret that human," Sentinel snarled.

The former Prime charged at them, drawing out his own blade. Optimus was prepared, bringing out his sword and gun Megatron struck first, knocking Sentinel down. Sentinel got back up, easily overpowering Megatron with his strength. Megatron was surprised, knowing that Sentinel wasn't that strong. Something must be making him stronger.

Megatron grunted as he was knocked down. Sentinel moved to Optimus, a familiar, cold look in his optics. Optimus was scared, but he didn't let it show. He attacked Sentinel with a battle cry, not letting up at all. Megatron joined back in when he got back up, the two brothers attacking Sentinel.

The older mech had no chance. He was shocked when two blades went into his chest, striking his spark. He looked up to see both brothers glaring at him. His optics flickered before his spark went out. The two let him fall, Megatron still feeling anger at the former leader. He then looked at Optimus.

"Are you okay, brother?" Megatron asked.

"Yes," said Optimus.

"Good. Now go get those other humans. I'll be right near you once I dispose of this thing," said Megatron.

"Thank you," said Optimus.

Optimus' holoform glanced at Jessica as he drove to Cade Yeager's house.

"Thank you, you saved my brother," Optimus said as she smiled a stunning smile that was a kick start to his spark.

He wanted this human. Oh Primus, he wanted her.

"Jessica?"

"Yes, Optimus," she said.

He had to choose his next words carefully now.

"Would you ever consider being with someone like me?" he asked.

She grinned as she got up toward the holoform, and kissed him in such a powerful way the young Prime's processors were shaken temporally.

"Does that answer your question," she answered.

"Yes, come here," he growled, pulling her closer for round 2 of kisses.

~~~Secret location

"Do you think they are okay?" Anika asked.

"They'll be fine," Ratchet said. "Optimus is a lot stronger than you know."

"They've been gone for nearly two days," said Anika. "And with Sentinel on the loose, they could have been attacked."

"Megatron won't let Sentinel touch Optimus," said Ratchet. "From your sister's stories, she knows of what happened to him on Cybertron."

"Oh, you mean that Prime ritual? Yeah, I hate what happened to him. That isn't right at all," said Anika.

"It was terrible. He didn't have anyone when Megatron turned but me, Ironhide, and Chromia. We took him in as our own son. Then later when Bumblebee lost his creators, Optimus took him in and adopted him," said Ratchet.

"Once the war started, he was chosen to lead us since he was the next Prime in line. Primus had chosen him as a Prime, but the Council and Sentinel didn't like that. They made up the ritual," said Ironhide. "Slaggers, the whole lot of them. They're lucky they are dead already."

"Yeah they are," Chromia agreed.

"We're the only ones that do care about Prime," said Jazz.

"Not a whole lot in numbers wise, but you all are still his family," said Anika.

"But we have each other. And that is all that matters," said Drift.

"True that," said Anika.

~~~Cade's house

"You serious?" Cade asked, sitting down to process all the information Jessica and Optimus had told him. "Why would the government do that? The Autobots helped save our planet twice from this big jackass. No offense by the way."

"None taken human," Megatron said, knowing that he would have to make some amends after all the things he had done.

"Well, it is true. We need your help Cade. You, your daughter, and her boyfriend need to help us. In time, they will find us, but that won't be for three years at most," said Jessica.

"Okay... boyfriend?! She doesn't have a boyfriend," Cade said.

"Oh, it is a secret boyfriend. Ignore I said that," said Jessica.

"I don't date, she doesn't date," said Cade.

"Then where would she be at now?" Jessica asked.

"Up in her room," said Cade. "And doing homework."

"She isn't," said Jessica. "Believe me, I know what it is like to be a teen again. But that is beside the point. We'll get a boarder set up around your place. We'll even get it paid off so no other humans appear. This means a lot to us Cade. And don't let your friend Lucas know. He will sell us out for the money that the government is offering."

"Okay," said Cade. "Bring your buddies here. I've got a few barns outside you guys can use."

"Thank you, Cade Yeager," Optimus said. "I am in your debt."

"No prob, big guy. I always believed in you," said Cade. "I'll go let Tessa know."

Cade went upstairs and knocked on the door. He opened it, seeing the laptop being put away quickly.

"Tess- what were you just doing?" Cade asked. "Were you talking with a boy?"

"Dad, no," said Tessa. Cade gave her a hard stare. "Yes. But he isn't who you think he is. I just know him from school. Shane is a really close friend."

"Fine, but no dating," said Cade. "Anyways, we got guests. Well, they'll be staying with us. We'll help them out."

"Who are they?" Tessa asked.

"Optimus Prime and Megatron, a girl named Jessica, and the Cybertronians," said Cade. "So help me get the two spare rooms ready for Jessica and her sister. The others will be here soon."

Jessica and Anika had been sitting on the bed in the room Cade had fixed for them.

"So? Give with details, already," Anika said as Jessica shook her head then.

"No, I am not giving you any details, Anika," Jessica said as Anika pouted.

"Why not?" Anika asked.

"Because I said so," Jessica said as she got up and headed for the area where Optimus was waiting for her.

Optimus heard her and she smiled sadly as he saw her walk up.

"Hey," she said as his spark raced wildly in his chamber.

Primus, he wanted her, and wasn't even sure how do to proceed with mating with a human femme. He was so mixed up and confused with what to do.

"Are you alright?" she asked.

He glanced at her then.

"Jessica? I am attracted to you, but I do not understand the rituals of human bonding," Optimus said.

"Then we will wing it," she said with a grin.

Anika huffed, feeling a bit left out. With her sister going with Optimus somewhere and Tessa out with her boyfriend, without her dad knowing, she didn't really have anything else to do. Well, she could go see Ratchet. After all, she's had a major crush and attraction since she first saw him in the movies, and even more so after meeting him. She might as well take advantage of the situation.

She wandered outside to one of the barns, seeing Ratchet being the only one in there. She knocked on the wood to announce her presence. Ratchet looked up from whatever he was working on, giving a barely noticeable smile to her. Anika walked further in, hopping up onto a few wood boxes.

"Hello Anika," Ratchet greeted.

"Hey," Anika said.

"What brings you out here?" Ratchet asked.

"Jess is with Optimus. Don't know what they are doing. And I grew bored since there's nothing to do," said Anika. "So I thought I would come over here and spend time with you."

"And why would you want to spend time around a grumpy medic?" Ratchet questioned.

"Cause I think you're cute. And I really like you a lot," said Anika. She motioned Ratchet to come closer. "I got a secret to tell you."

Ratchet did get closer, his face close to hers. Anika leaned forward, kissing the medic. Ratchet froze, processing the feel of her soft lips against his metal ones. His spark raced and pulled towards her. Anika moved back, grinning at the medic widely.

"Anika," Ratchet managed to say, voice caught in his voice box.

"You like that, don't you?" Anika asked. "It feels like I'm drawn to you Ratchet. Like a magnetic pull within my soul. Is there one with you as well?"

"Yes," Ratchet whispered, still stunned by the earlier kiss.

The medic reached out, pulling Anika into his servo and bringing her close. He took advantage of her slightly surprised state and kissed her again. Anika leaned into the kiss, running her hands up and down his face. Ratchet lost himself in her touch, loving it so much.

"Where are Anika and Jessica? It's dinner time," Tessa said, looking around.

"Don't know. Haven't seen them since a few hours ago," said Cade. "Prime took Jess somewhere and Anika went to one of the barns."

"Okay. Then I'll go grab Anika at least," said Tessa.

She walked outside to one of the barns. She looked inside to see Anika curled up asleep on Ratchet's chest. The medic looked at the other human, moving to shield Anika better.

"Yes?" Ratchet inquired.

"Oh, uh, dinner is done," said Tessa.

"I will send Anika in to fuel when she is awake," said Ratchet.

"I'll put some in the fridge for her," said Tessa.

The teen walked back quickly to the house, not sure what happened, but she didn't want to know. And she dared not go out to find Optimus and Jessica. Who knows what they were doing.

Optimus was with Jessica he was using his holoform just merely holding her, and his spark was getting a strong reaction from this incredibly sweet but snarky human female.

He was so drawn to her, and honestly never felt this way ever before.

"What are you thinking about?" she asked.

He smiled then.

"You." was all he said as she smiled leaning in toward him and pressing her lips to his metal lips while her hands roamed his body driving his energon to flow like hot lava now.

He wanted her.
