Chapter 4

~~~Cemetery HQ

"So these are the targets?" Savoy asked, looking at the pictures taken.

"Yes," said Attinger.

"Sounds like it will be a great hunt," said Savoy.

"My asset will be on his way soon enough," said Attinger. "He will help with the hunt. You will work with him."

"Fine," Savoy said.

He didn't like working with another, but he had no choice.

He turned back and studied the pictures of the Autobots, Decepticons, and two girls.

Anika woke up, stretching and yawning. She looked up to see she was on Ratchet's lap as he worked on something. She smiled at seeing him. Ratchet looked down at his lap, seeing his lover smiling up at him.

"I would say this is a good sight to wake up to," said Anika.

"Indeed," said Ratchet. He moved a servo down to let her crawl on. Anika did so, being brought up to his face.

Anika gave the medic a kiss, grinning at him. Ratchet smiled, enjoying the feeling she gave him. He found that he couldn't imagine not having her there with him.

"We should go get some fuel," said Ratchet.

Anika's stomach growled.

"Hahaha, I agree," said Anika. "Come on. Use your holoform."

Ratchet activated his holoform after setting Anika down. They headed into the house, Anika heating up the leftover pizza for them to eat. Anika cracked open a can of soda, chugging it down and burping. Ratchet scanned the sugary drink.

"This is not healthy, Anika," Ratchet lightly scolded.

"Yeah, but it sure is tasty," said Anika.

"If you get sick, don't come complaining to me," said Ratchet.

"I won't," said Anika.

"Don't say I didn't warn you," the medic said. "I wonder where Optimus is at with your sister."

"Probably making out," said Anika.

"Making out? What is that?" Ratchet asked.

"Follow me back to your body and I'll show you," Anika hinted.

That got Ratchet interested. Dear Primus, what was this femme doing to him?

Optimus was watching Jessica sleeping in bed, and he sat down alongside her. He wasn't even sure what made him come in the room was shared by Jessica and Anika but the younger sister was out with Ratchet.

Optimus ran a shaky servo over Jessica's face, his optics watched her intently. Jessica opened her eyes then and smiled at the Autobot commander. She pull him closer.

"Come here, Optimus," she purred as he was lost.

She pulled him into her arms and even though he was nervous as humans mated differently than Cybertronians did. She kissed him and he responded to her his servos automatically going around her melting into her.

It wasn't until he heard the safety unlock from his chest plates that he glanced down and saw his chest plates opening. His spark wanted her heart. He wasn't sure if she would be alright if his spark did this, but before he could say anything his spark broke apart and entered her chest.

Jessica's eyes locked with Optimus' bright blue optics as she abruptly screamed out his name in pleasure. Optimus felt his own overload charging him up now he would be following hers soon.

He yelled out her name as her body unexpectedly overloaded once more sending her spiraling into many for so long. Optimus watched as she knocked herself out her body still overloading even in recharge.

They were bonded now.

She was his.

And, Optimus felt love coursing through him now, because he was cared for and needed.

They were wrong. The Council lied. He did find love. He was needed and loved.

~~~Cemetery Wind HQ

"Are you still here?" Attinger asked, having seen Savoy from a window to the room.

"Yeah. I'm just studying our targets," said Savoy.

"Just make sure you get to sleep at some point tonight," said Attinger, leaving the room to go home.

Savoy rolled his eyes before turning back to the two pictures he was studying. He really wasn't doing what he had said, but Attinger didn't need to know that. He sat down, staring at the picture of Optimus Prime and Jessica. He wasn't sure what it was about these two, but there was some kind of pull towards them.

"What is this?" Savoy muttered to himself. "What is it about you two that draws me?"

~~~Cade's farm, next day

"You did what?!" Anika gasped.

"I think it was sex with him. I don't know. His chest opened and his spark went into my heart. I can feel him," said Jessica.

"So you bonded with the Autobot leader. Well, it is about time," Anika said. "You gonna tell me how it was?"

"No," Jessica said.

"What? Come on. Please? Just a little bit?" Anika asked.

"Powerful and amazing. That's all you're getting sis," Jessica smirked. "Though I would do it again many times."

"Now I wonder if I can get Ratchet," Anika grinned.

"Knowing you, you'll find a way to seduce him," said Jessica.

"I've already shown him how to make out," said Anika. "While you were off getting all smoochy with Prime, I was with the sexy medic making out."

"Well, at least you're having fun," Jessica teased.

"Heck yeah," Anika agreed. "You going to get Optimus tonight? There's a good spot in the back of the property with some privacy you can go to. I was checking the place out."

"You bet I will sis," said Jessica.

"Then go get him," said Anika. "I'm off to go find Ratchet again."

"Okay sis," Jessica laughed.

Anika laughed to herself as she watched Jessica leave out the room. She followed to go outside and find Ratchet. She might even go spy on him for a while. She smirked as she saw Optimus follow Jessica out of the barn where Ratchet usually hid to work. The two mechs must have been talking about something.

Anika snuck to the side, finding a peeping hole. She watched as Ratchet moved around and worked. She never understood what he was working on, but that didn't matter. She squeaked when two arms wrapped around her waist and a voice near her head.

"Don't you know it is rude to stare?" Ratchet asked.

"Sneaky medic," Anika said, turning in the holoform's arms. She leaned forward and kissed him. "Though I can be sneaky as well."

"Oh? And how will you do that?" Ratchet asked.

"By doing this," Anika said.

She leaned forward and kissed along his neck, lightly licking and sucking. Ratchet shuddered in the burst of pleasure he got. He pinned her to the side of the barn, leaning forward and capturing her lips with his own. Anika felt herself get hoisted into his arms, legs wrapping around his waist as he brought her inside the barn with his real body.

"Sassy femme," Ratchet groaned. "Primus, you're undoing me."

"Just the way I like it," said Anika, kissing him once more.

Optimus coughed and leaned down and picked up Jessica, and made his way out of the barn. Jessica smirked, and peered up at Optimus.

"So, what we just did... What was that? It was so strong?" she asked.

Optimus smirked.

"Spark merging, you belong to me now," Optimus said with an also animalistic tone.

Jessica smirked.

"My aren't we possessive," she said as Optimus smirked.

She had no idea how possessive he could get, he was a Prime afterall!

Savoy's run-down home…

Savoy's home was not much 4 walls and ceiling, a bed, computer and a place to eat. He laid in bed staring at Optimus Prime and Jessica, his mind confused at his strange feelings he felt.

The young woman was hot-looking but he also had a strange feeling for Optimus Prime.

"Damn it," he growled.

They were his targets, what the hell was he supposed to do, no, he had a job to do he couldn't allow these two to distract him. He had to bring them down no matter what.

Anika grinned in victory, seeing the medic knocked out and recharging. She had won once more. And as much as she wished to join him, something wasn't quite right. She wasn't sure what it was. She looked to see Optimus and her sister weren't there. She guessed they were off on their own spending time together. And she hoped they would be safe.

"Hey, where did the love birds go?" Anika asked.

"Don't know," Wheelie answered. "They went off together."

"Did they say where they were going?" Anika continued.

"Nope," Brains answered.

"They'll be back," said Hound. "Boss always comes back. Unless he's in danger. Then he won't come back until we go help him."

"Okay," said Anika. But she still couldn't shake off this feeling.

~~~Savoy's house

Savoy got up, putting out his cigarette into the ashtray. He went outside, getting into his vehicle. He wanted to go find Jessica and Optimus. He wouldn't let Attinger know or anyone else in Cemetery Wind. He was going to go rogue on this. But he had no idea where to start looking. He just followed his gut feeling.

He started driving, no real destination in mind. He just followed where his heart was taking him. He was on the lookout for the flamed Peterbilt that the Prime was. Unless the Prime changed vehicle modes. Then he would be looking for a flamed semi truck. After a few hours of driving, Savoy pulled into a fast food joint to grab something to eat.

It didn't click in his mind when he parked next to a red and blue semi truck. He went inside, ordered his food, and waited. Once it was ready, he sat down and started eating. He looked around the joint, seeing that there weren't many people. Two teens and a couple, then him, not including the employees.

His eyes went to the couple, seeing a tall man conversing with the woman, only seeing the back of her head. The teens were on their phones, as most teens are these days. The couple finished up, getting up and the man threw away the trash. Savoy stopped when he saw the girl. It was the one in his pictures. He pulled it out just to confirm. Yep, that was the same. Then the man was most likely a hologram or whatever they called it of Optimus.

He threw away the rest of his food and followed them outside. He stayed a safe distance before he went to them, gun at the ready in case he needed it. His heart raced at seeing them, still confused on what was going on and why he was so attracted to them.

Savoy didn't feel like being subtle; it wasn't his style at all, so he did it the old fashioned way.

"Optimus Prime, Jessica, Stop!" Savoy ordered as Optimus turned as well as Jessica who froze realizing who he was.

"Savoy? What the hell do you even want?" Jessica demanded.

"I want answers that you both will give me," Savoy said looking at Optimus. "You will follow me and she comes with me, and if you don't play nice I will hurt her," Savoy said not really sure if he should have threatened Jessica but he needed answers.

Optimus narrowed his eyes at the man as his eyes locked with Jessica, especially when he showed he had a gun in his jacket.

"Do we understand ourselves?" Savoy ordered.

"Yes, but know this if you harm her I will take action of my own," Optimus said as he tried to send a comm to his team only to have his processors met with a powerful EMP which hurt his processors.

"Don't try to call your friends," Savoy growled. "Now, follow me," he ordered as he pulled Jessica away from Optimus and pushed her into the car.

Optimus glanced back at the vehicle and his eyes met with Jessica's. He got into his vehicle form and followed Savoy. The area where this human loved was in a remote and isolated area. He followed the human onto a dusty and dirt pathway which led to a small cabin. Optimus didn't like this not one bit. He was already disoriented from the strange EMP blast he used on his processors.

It was clear this human was up to no good.

"They've been gone for a while now," said Anika.

"I am sure they are fine," said Ratchet.

"And if they aren't?" Anika asked, looking up at the medic with a raised brow.

"Optimus is strong," said Ironhide.

"True. He's been through a lot and survived," said Chromia.

"Something still doesn't feel right," said Anika, looking at the dirt road leading away from the property.

"If they don't come back by tomorrow, we'll send patrols out to go find them," said Ironhide.

"Okay," Anika said.

~~~Savoy's house

Savoy parked his vehicle, pulling Jessica out with him. Optimus transformed, glaring down at the human. A quick scan showed that she wasn't hurt at all.

"Activate your holo-whatever," Savoy ordered.

Optimus clenched his servos together, but did as was told. Both he and Jessica were led into the small cabin, Savoy following and shutting the door.

"Sit," Savoy instructed, motioning to two chairs.

"What do you want from us?" Jessica asked, leaning into Optimus' side to feel safer. Optimus grabbed her hand, squeezing it a bit in comfort.

"I want to know what makes you two so special," said Savoy, sitting on his bed and facing the two, gun still in hand. "There's something about you two that draws me to you and I don't know what. So until I figure this out, you two are staying here."

"And what's stopping us from leaving?" Jessica asked.

"You leave, those Autobots, Decepticons, and... Anika, will die," said Savoy, looking at his notes.

Jessica felt some fear strike her. Not her little sister. Optimus felt the same way about those of his kind being killed. He could not lose them or Jessica. They were his family. And Jessica was his mate!

:What do we do?: Jessica asked through the bond.

:Do what he says for now. At least, until he gets what he wants.: Optimus answered.

Savoy studied them, not sure what they were doing.

"We will do as you say," said Optimus. "We will remain here until you get what you want from us."

"That can take some time, so get comfortable," said Savoy.

Optimus and Jessica looked at each other. They hoped the others would remain safe.

~~~Farm

"It's been five days now. And still no sign of them," Jazz said.

"Something must have happened to them," said Ironhide.

"I can't find Optimus' signal at all," said Ratchet.

"The boss has to be somewhere," said Hound.

"Told ya so," Anika said. "Maybe Cemetery Wind got them."

"Cemetery Wind?" Ratchet asked.

"Long story. Basically they hunt all Cybertronians to kill them all," said Anika. "At least in the movie that's how it is. But that would be way too easy to kill you guys if we went to their headquarters."

"She is right. We cannot risk death if we hope to save them," said Drift.

"Then we have to plan and get Optimus and my sister back. Before anything bad happens to them," said Anika.

~~~Savoy's house

"Damn it!" Savoy threw down his notes. Even after all this time and days, he still couldn't figure it out. He had gotten to know them better, treated them well despite being his captives.

Optimus glanced at Savoy, Jessica in his arms asleep. The Prime wasn't sure what Savoy wanted with them. All he did was ignore any calls and watch them.

"What exactly are you trying to find with us?" Optimus asked.

"I don't know! All I know is that I'm attracted to you both and I don't know why. You two are supposed to be my targets. I'm supposed to bring you two down," said Savoy, frustrated with the situation. "I can't bring myself to do my job, no matter how much I try."

"An attraction," Optimus repeated.

He didn't understand what that had meant. There are many different kinds of attractions. The Prime looked back down at Jessica, moving her carefully as not to wake her up. He walked up to Savoy. He too, could feel an attraction with Savoy. But how was that possible? He loved Jessica. She was his mate. Did Jessica feel a similar attraction and didn't say anything? He would have to ask her when she woke up.

"What kind of attraction?" Optimus asked, looking down at the man. He didn't have his guard up since Savoy had done nothing wrong to them.

Savoy didn't answer. He looked up at the slightly taller mech. He reached up, pulling Optimus closer to him. Before Optimus can do anything to protect himself, he froze in stunned silence. Savoy's lips meshed with his, sparking something up in the Prime. They stood there, lips locked, Savoy's hand keeping the Prime there.

When Savoy released the Prime, Optimus stumbled back, shocked. His spark sped up with its beating. He didn't know what to do, what to say. Savoy just stayed there, looking at the Prime. His eyes went to Jessica, who was awake now. She was silent as well, eyes wide.

"O-Optimus?" Jessica asked.

Optimus turned to look at his mate, feeling the slight hurt in the bond. He was at a loss for words. He looked back at Savoy, not knowing what to do. Savoy sighed, following his instincts and the pull towards Jessica. He went over to her.

"What are you- mmph!"

Savoy silenced her with a kiss as well. Optimus didn't move, still too shocked as he watched this man kiss his mate after kissing him. Jessica didn't fight it, but melted into the kiss. When Savoy pulled back to let her breathe, he looked between the two.

"Well, I guess we know now what it is," said Savoy. "Now the question is what to do. I won't turn you two in or your family. But I can't run away from my job either."

Jessica narrowed her eyes, as they went to Optimus who felt the anger from her. His eyes widened as he saw her hands light up.

"Listen really close, Savoy, You kidnap us at gunpoint, kiss us both and then state that you can't run away from your job," Jessica started to say as she saw both Savoy and Optimus watching her. "What?" she asked as Optimus nodded down toward her hands.

Jessica saw her hands lit up like the fourth of July.

"Sorry, forgot," she said get the one slayer power to calm down.

"What are you?" Savoy asked as Jessica watched him move like lightning taking her off guard.

Savoy pressed her up against the wall kissing her as he hit a button making cables come up from the floor grabbing Optimus holding his holoform startling him for a moment.

And scaring him.

Jessica saw what he did and managed to get him to stop kissing her.

"Release him, he's scared!" Jessica ordered as Savoy turned and saw Optimus frozen where he stood his eyes wide with fear.

"What the hell?" Savoy cursed as he hit the button once more releasing Optimus as Jessica bolted to Optimus who fell to the floor.

Jessica grabbed Optimus making him look at her, as his optics were somewhere else.

"Optimus, you're not on Cybertron, you're on Earth. They can't hurt you anymore," Jessica said as he slowly frowned and came back to her.

Jessica held him.

"J...Jessica?" he asked as his holoform shook.

"What's wrong with him?" Savoy demanded as Jessica growled and spun around punching Savoy in the face.

"You son of a bitch!" Jessica yelled as she allowed her slayer powers to ignite.

She was going to enjoy this.

"J….Jessica do not allow yourself to become like him," Optimus whispered as his spark started to calm down then.

She frowned but allowed her power to simmer down, but only because Optimus asked her to. She went over to him, while Savoy called Attinger telling him he had Optimus and Jessica alive and suggested they keep them alive for the time being.

Jessica was holding the Autobot commander close, he was scared he was relapsing from the past all over again. No matter what his past always came back to haunt him.

He would never be free of it until his spark was extinguished forever. He slowly looked at Jessica and his spark told him what he needed and it was Jessica. If only they could get out of this alive, he'd have his mate for life.

"What do you plan to do with us?" Jessica finally demanded.

Savoy smiled then.

"You're both going to do what I say or I am going to give the order for the others to be killed," Savoy remarked. "She comes with me and you will follow us, is that clear?" Savoy demanded of Optimus who never took his optics off of Jessica.

Optimus kept watching Jessica, his spark racing with fear.

Optimus' POV

I watched Jessica and this human who was threatening my mate and also threatening my troops and friends and Jessica's sister Anika. I glanced at the human threatening us.

My past had hit me when those cables reached for me I had a bad past, but I couldn't deal with this anymore. And, now, this human was threatening I held dear to me, and what was I supposed to do.

If we fought, we risk losing everything and I risk my mate telling me to leave her alone, and I risk being alone all over again. I did not wish to be alone without her. I would sooner drive my sword through my spark.

I didn't want to be alone. I hated being alone.

~~~three weeks later

"We have to go out and find them," Anika said.

"And where would we look?" Sideswipe asked.

"I don't know. We just have to find them. Something isn't right here," said Anika. "What if Savoy got to them? Savoy gets to them, or Lockdown, then that means Cemetery Wind gets them and they can die."

"Well, is there a way to detect a Cybertronian signal?" Cade asked. "I can probably make something to detect the big guy."

"I've already tried to find his signal and I can't," said Ratchet.

"Well, maybe your thing is outdated," said Cade.

"It is not," said Ratchet.

"If you can't find him, maybe it is. Or broken. Let me look at it," said Cade.

"Why?" Ratchet asked. "I'm perfectly capable of fixing it myself if it is broken."

"Just let me look," Cade insisted.

"Ladies, you both go work together so we can find Jess and Optimus," said Anika. The two looked at her with a strange look. "Don't give me that look. Go on. We don't have much time."

"Fine," Ratchet grumbled. "You owe me, Anika."

"Yeah, I'll spoil you later. After we find Prime and Jess," said Anika.

Ratchet nodded before him and Cade went back to the barn to go tinker around, still arguing.

"They argue like a married couple," Anika muttered. She turned back to the others. "Now we just have to wait and see what they can come up with to find them. Once we do, we need to plan on how to rescue them, depending on where they are."

Savoy kept his eyes on them, his mind going to all different scenarios including ideas concerning Jessica. However, Optimus watched Savoy his energon boiling within his lines.

The expressions on this human's face told Optimus all he needed to know, he meant to harm her in ways he would not allow.

Jessica jumped at hearing his voice in her mind.

:::::... You are bonded to me now we can communicate like this now….::::

::::::... Optimus I don't like this guy in the movie he was evil and trying to capture you for Lockdown…..:::::::

::::::::... We have to escape…..::::::

Jessica thought for a minute. She could use her red essence but he already knows about it. Then she thought about the Chakra she had. He didn't know that she could use that on him and it could buy them enough time to escape.

"Told ya!" Cade said, a bit of a smug smile on his face.

"Yes, yes, you are so smart," Ratchet said sarcastically with a roll of his optics.

"Hey, we did this together," Cade protested.

"Of course," said Ratchet. He tapped at the screen and waited for it to pick up his leader and youngling's signal. He grinned when a dot appeared, which was on the move. "We did it, Cade. We found his signal. And it is on the move."

"Then let's go tell the others. Come on," Cade said, hopping down and going to the others. "We got him."

"And no doubt Jess is with him. Hopefully," Anika said. "Great job you two."

"Can you tell where they are at?" Jazz asked.

"Well, nowhere near human populations," said Ratchet.

"How far?" Drift asked.

"Not too far, actually," said Ratchet.

"Then let's go get the boss!" Hound said.

"We have to be careful in case there is danger or they are captured," said Anika. "And not all of us can go for safety reasons. We can't risk any of you being hurt or captured."

"Then who will go?" Ironhide asked.

"If he's damaged, then Ratchet should go. You got the guns Ironhide. So does Chromia and Hound. Crosshairs and Sideswipe should be snipers in case of any incoming danger. The rest of you stay here," said Anika. "And I'll come with as well."

"Oh no you don't," said Ratchet.

"And why not?" Anika asked.

"I am not risking you getting hurt at all, my dear," said Ratchet. "You are staying put, even if I have to lock you in the barn until I get back."

"But Ratch," Anika whined.

"No buts. You are staying right here where I know you will be safe," said Ratchet. Anika pouted up at him. "Don't pout. We will be back soon enough."

Ratchet scooped the human up and dumped her onto a soft surface in the barn before closing it so she didn't leave. He smirked, knowing she would try to sneak out, so they had to leave now.

"Let's go," said Ratchet. And off they went to go get their leader and his mate back.

Optimus glanced at Jessica and squeezed her hand tightly giving her the signal. Jessica's hand went for her weapon as Savoy was on the phone with Attinger. She narrowed her eyes and sent the weapon flying; however, what she was not counting on was Savoy moving out of the way while talking on the phone.

"Shit," she growled as Savoy's eyes locked with her's.

"You little….." he started to say until Jessica used the red essence and sent him flying against the wall.

"Come on….!" Optimus ordered as he grabbed her hand and tried to get her out of there safely.

Until a shot rang out….

And Optimus froze knowing his holoform couldn't be hurt but Jessica could be!
