...

...

I stared at the colosseum from inside of the Terminal. I let out a tired sigh, glancing down at my hand. That was a long, dreadful training run, making me regret awakening that ability. A moment ago when it happened, the two wanted to see if I could copy other powers that I could memorize. Or ... at least what I recall, test its limitations. I didn't agree with their methods ... especially the damn demon, however, I was convinced otherwise by Grunkle Stan. We went over what that wolf s. starry's white flame ability could do with me handling it. I managed to lit both of my hands on fire, but couldn't quite use the flames to turn myself invisible ... so that sucks. I wish I could so I could escape from that situation.

Though I did use the flames to lit my tail on fire, which confused me for a moment. I thought I could copy what the original user could do with its flames, but it seems I copy their entire ability set and can use it as I please. That method should come in handy in the future. I nodded to myself before shaking my focus out of my mind. After that session, I could do what I want to do right now and that gives me no idea what to do. I have no idea why I traveled to the Collessum Sphere in the first place.

Ugh ... what could I do to pass the time? "Hey!" I opened my eyes, glancing over at the voice, spotting a familiar s. starry. "Nice to see you again!" The fox s. starry halted in front of me, waving their hand.

"... Nice to ... see you too." I greeted back slowly, uninterested in the slightest.

"Ah! It is you! The one I met from the stairs?" They guessed.

"... I guess." I shrugged.

They smiled brightly and bounced before calming themselves down. "I didn't catch your name yet, mines' Kitz by the way."

"D-" I stopped myself, reminding myself of that fake name the Lord gave me. "Mas- Maxon." I corrected myself mid-sentence.

"Nice!" Kitz smiled. In return, I just stared at them, giving them an uninterested look. However, that look didn't seem to affect them at all. "Woah- What are you supposed to be? Part Deer, Part Monster?"

M-Monster...? Now I think about it... I might as well be one. "Guess so." I shrugged. ... Then again ... didn't the lord say that the transformations were based on both the personalities and spiritual animals? So ... where did the monster part come from? Did something change within me to cause this form to appear like this? I shouldn't think too deep about it.

"Alright! Well, I'm happy I got to be my spirit animal! Along with harmless powers, I gained." Kitz chirped. They're too bright for their own good. Making themselves an easy target to trick. "Though ... they can be harmful if I do use them that way. Such as water!" They continued, creating a water ball in their hands.

They're going to ask me what my abilities are, aren't they? "See? It's so cool that I could do this instead on that boring planet. What about you? What did you gain?" Kitz asked, making the water disappear. They turned towards me with curious eyes. I'll just tell them about one of them; it's not wise to tell them about the new one.

"I can predict future visions," I answered.

They gasped in astonishment. "THAT'S SO COOL. So, can you know what I'll do next?"

"... uh ... I don't know." I shrugged, lowering my deer ears. Don't test the ability... please. I wanna have a break from it.

"It doesn't work instantly?" They asked, frowning as they tilt their head.

"I don't get many visions at once, Kitz. It doesn't work like that with me." I answered, giving them an irritated look. And I'm glad it doesn't.

"Aww..." They frowned deeply, their fox ears drooping. They soon perked back up, fiddling with their fingers for a moment before snapping their attention back to me. "Well, I'll be heading to the Growing Sphere again."

"... The what?" I questioned, perking my deer ears.

"Growing Sphere! Most s. starries don't know of it and they prefer not to visit it. Some say it's boring, but it's not! It's a massive sphere where there are greenhouses in it. In those greenhouses, you can grow any type of plant that you wouldn't see in your homeland." Kitz explained.

"... Really? No conditions of it, at all?" I asked, curiosity rising within me.

"Nope! Well- ... I don't know. It's better if I show you what it can do." They responded.

I lowered my deer ears for a moment until I remembered that I have no idea where I would go from training. I perked them back up and shrugged. "Alright." Why not? It'll pass the time.

"Good! Come on!" They said, bolting into the Terminal. They're like a child, I swear. I sighed in annoyance and followed them. They input the destination in the panel, causing the hover bus to appear from the walls of this building. It made me wonder if they were storing the hover busses there. Either way, we hop on it and settle into one of the seats. I watched the doors close, feeling the bus move out of the terminal. I glanced out of the window, noticing my vision started to fade out. I blinked and soon I ended up back in the pitch black void.

Great. Just as I was taking a break from my abilities, another vision pops up. I sighed loudly and rubbed my forehead. Alright, let's see what it is this time around. My surroundings shifted into a medium-sized bedroom. I raised a brow, looking confused. I glanced around, growing disgusted immediately when I recognize it. Why am I in his room? "Do you know the plan?" I heard Gideon say, making me snap my gaze over to the two figures in the middle of the room. Mabel and Gideon were sitting on the carpet, discussing this "plan."

I tilted my head before walking closer to sit next to them. "Yes." My sister nodded. "We're hanging out with my brother." She added on, making a disgusted look. I frowned, lowering my deer ears. She ... she still hates me?- No. I don't even know when this vision takes place so let's not go down that path. There's no way she hates me.

"Indeed ... but don't forget, we must show him that place in the forest." Gideon reminded her. I assume that place is where I saw my future self die.

"... The place is already dangerous, to begin with. Why would we?" Mabel asked, looking confused.

"He might know a way to get rid of the substance. So, if we do that, other future fallen victims don't have to come across it while walking in the forest." Gideon said, sounding extremely suspicious. I glanced at him. I swear he just told a lie to her.

"... Good idea," Mabel said, nodding her head.

"Indeed it is." He nodded before his face twisted in irritation. "So, can you go and tell him before you forget again?"

"Oh right! Sorry, I will. Tomorrow for sure." Mabel nodded her head, feeling guilty.

"Good." Tomorrow? Is that what Mabel told me today? Or ... er... earlier today? Meeting the substance, death place tomorrow? Wait- Wait. I thought I was getting a vision of the future. Not the past. What is this? I can suddenly discover past events with this ability? It seems to be useful in this matter. I glanced back up from the ground, staring at the corpse in the quicksand-like substance. I jumped onto my feet, getting scared at my dead body.

Why did you show me this again, vision? Are you telling me this will happen in the future? I turned away from the corpse, shivering slightly. Apparently so. My surroundings faded away as I was coming back to my senses, to my form in the realm. I opened my eyes, hearing someone's panicked voice. "Maxon! Are you okay?!"

I glanced over to Kitz who had a worried expression and was sitting next to me. "I'm fine," I answered.

"Are you sure?" They asked again.

"Yes ... I'm sure." I nodded.

"... What... happened to you?" They asked, getting up and moving out of the way so I could exit the seats.

"Remember about when I could predict future visions? That happened just now." I answered, getting out of the seat. Well... more like watching past events rather than future events.

"Oh." Kitz widened their eyes before nodding. "I see. So you zoon out whenever you get one?"

"... I guess so. Does it seem like I zoon out?" I asked, glancing over at the doors opened. I assumed we're here.

"Yes. You- Your eyes were also a flickering blue light, was that supposed to happen?" Kitz asked, turning towards the door and exiting it.

Flickering a blue light? Wait- Did Gideon really tried to take control of me when I was having a vision?! I sighed annoyed and followed the s. starry. "I don't think so," I responded. I don't know what I look like when I'm having a vision. The only person who was there before I got that blue vision incident was ... that ... demon. Oh god, does this means I have to ask him? Great. If only things couldn't get more complicated than this.

I looked up at the new sphere, eyeing the greenhouses. "We're here! There are at least 15 greenhouses!"

"15 greenhouses?" I questioned, widening my eyes. That ... seems to be too much.

"Yeah. Don't worry, the greenhouses are small to medium size, so that why it made be a lot than usual." Kitz answered.

"Oh. Make sense." I nodded.

"Yeah." They nodded with a smile. "Let's go find us a free greenhouse." They added on before turning and walking from underneath the Terminal. I followed behind, observing my surroundings. Nature was literally growing all around us as if it was greeting us. They crumble and detach from the greenhouse's roofs when we grow farther from them. That's ... strange, what else is new. We found a free greenhouse and entered in. Kitz closed the doors and bolted over to the table. There was a bag of seeds in each pot. In each of those pots, there would be names labeled to which bag of seeds was. I watched the fox s. starry pick up a bag of rose seeds, taking my hand and dragging me over to one of the soil pots.

I can walk over just fine. I shook my head and looked up when Kitz halted. I glanced over at the soil, staring at the floating text. "Okay, if I put one of the seeds in the soil and cover it up. The magical text things would generate its conditions and make it grow fascinating speeds." They explained before doing what they intended on doing. Once they covered up the seed, they backed away and waited.

"... No water?" I questioned.

"Nope! No water." Kitz shook their head, smiling. "Ah! It's starting!" They gasped the next. I stared at the plant, widening my eyes at its growth. It was like it was growing like there was no tomorrow. The plant sprout and soon quickly grows into a rose bush, instantly growing buns of roses. I was stunned by it, wondering how this sphere managed this. The roses opened, revealing to be rather a dark shade of purple instead of the regular red roses. I tilted my head before feeling a cold shiver going down my spine. Soon I was feeling extremely uncomfortable.

I widened my eyes in a slight panic, still gazing at the black roses. What is going on? I saw something flash in my vision, a creature coming at me with a nasty and insane attitude. I droop my deer ears, panic beginning to rise within me quickly. However, the image disappeared before I could understand what end happened. I shook my head, rubbing it before giving the black roses one last glance. I shivered again with another cold shiver running down my spine. Ugh...

The gasp from the fox s. starry made me flinch as I forgot they were there. "This is my first time seeing black roses! This is such a rare sighting!" They chirped.

"... I-I guess." I stuttered slightly, my voice shook from the image. Of course, it's a rare sighting to see a black rose, but sometimes ... it can leave a haunting experience from their appearance meanings. A gut feeling appeared, making me feel like everything around me was coming to an end. I shook my head and ignored it, knowing the last that I know it will not happen.

"Oooo should we watch a tree grow next? I know those take FOREVER TO GROW." Kitz suggested.

I stared at them, blinking. I don't feel like watching a tree grow, maybe next time. "You can watch a tree grow, I don't feel like it at the moment."

"Aww... alright." Kitz nodded, doing something to the rose bush. It crumbled and rotten, disappearing into thin air.

I blinked, impressed by the delete system before getting an idea in my head. If there is something from my planet for everything ... is there a sphere out there that is similar to a library? "Are there other spheres like this one?"

"Yep." Kitz nodded. "Though ... I don't know every one of them, I just know this one. I saw the other spheres on a list when I was viewing Sector 15 spheres. And then, past the number, a lot of them begin to appear.." They added.

"Ah. So, just Sector 15?" I asked.

"And the ones past the number. More begin to pop up from there on out." They nodded.

I nodded. "I see. Thanks."

"No problem, have fun finding what you find!" Kitz chirped.

"... You too in your fun," I said slowly before navigating my way out of the greenhouse. I closed the door and headed down the pathway to the Terminal. Please tell me it has a sphere similar to a library. I do hope it does. I arrived at the building, walking over to the panel. I halted and scanned down the list of spheres in Sector 15, where I'm currently am.

Creative Sphere. T- ... T-T-Torture Sphere? What? What- I don't even want to know. I shook my head, getting the image out of my head. My eyes continue scanning the list until something caught my attention. Information Sphere? I wonder if that is similar to a library. Better wanna find out. I pressed the scene and glanced up to the hover bus shifting next to the panel. I walked around and hopped into it, taking my seat.

As the bus begins to move, my mind dived back to that vision I've watched. So ... since the future event is happening, I must figure out a way to avoid it. Though ... I can't just reject Mabel's request, it may hurt her feelings. I don't know. What I saw in the vision shows my sister acting disgusted whenever I was mention. Even if I saw it, I don't want to believe that my sister despises me. She couldn't, not after we promised we would get this sibling bond fixed. I shook my head, grabbing my hands together and squeezing them. I just hope Gideon would stop after Mabel told him.

Now ... about trying to avoid that situation. Since I won't be rejecting my sister's invitation, I could follow them and avoid standing close to the substance so that I won't get pushed in by Gideon. Or I could interrupt their conversation when they're leaning in to whisper and point out their mistake. Or ... I could fall back behind when they are distracted. I... I don't know. A part of me wants to confront them and ask why are they planning to leave me in the substance. But ... I don't want to give the slightest hint that I can see both future and past events.

I sighed annoyed, flinching from the door opened. I don't know what to do. I stood up and exited off of the bus. I'll just decide when the time is right. I walked out of the terminal and into the sphere. It appeared dark at first, however, the light flashed in my eyes before it revealed its appearance. I widened my eyes in astonishment, halting my steps. The sphere itself was layered with books on end with each floor. On the first floor, there was a wide area with sitting spots and basic, beginner books on the tables beside them. In the center of the place, there would be a huge hole where you could see the second floor and the third floor.

Wow. This place is amazing. No wonder any s. starry isn't here besides these small transparent circles floating about to each bookshelf. They're probably sorting books and stuff. I walked forward and glanced around, looking at the bookshelves. I wonder where I could start off- I halted when I spotted a small transparent circle hovering in front of me with a book on top of it. I tilted my head, taking it as it floated away. Oh? It actually gives you one to start off? Interesting.

I walked over to one of the soft chairs and sit down, opening up the book. It didn't have a name, which confused me for a moment. Though it did had one inside of the book. Maybe they work titles differently here. I shrugged before, gazing at it. It read: alternative worlds. Curiosity begins to build up within me as I flip a page, wanting to know more. Unfortunately, my eyes became blue in an instant, causing me to lose control of my limbs.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Why, in all places does he tries again?! Why is he trying to take control of me?! Why?! I attempted to get back my limbs however, I saw the blue vision disappear. I blinked before sitting back up. I glanced down at my hands, flexing them for a moment. I closed the book and placed it down beside me. Why did it disappear? I didn't do anything to gain back my control. I looked around, seeing if there was anyone there who did such a thing. My gaze landed on an s. starry who was towering over me, behind me.

I shrieked, jumping up to my feet and hissing at the demon. "WHY ARE YOU HERE?!"

"Calm down, Pinetree. I'm not going to hurt you." Bill snickered, enjoying the reaction I gave.

"I can't trust you for that! Now answer me, why are you here?!" I hissed, lashing my tail in anger.

"I got bored so, I followed you." The demon shrugged. "I'm glad I did because I would never think this type of sphere existed."

You gotta be kidding me. I sighed in annoyance. "Besides, what was this book you reading?" I watched him grab the book, opening it.

"... Noisy much," I grunted.

"As I said, I'm bored." He said, looking through the book.

"So, every time you get bored, you come and follow me around?" I asked, having my arms beside my sides.

"Pretty much. You are the interesting one that has something going on around yourself." He answered.

Of course... God help me.

End of Chapter 10

My apologies for when I say this.

This story will be going on hiatus.

The reason for this is due to some lack of motivation for writing this. I won't be dropping it, I just need some time to continue writing it rather than the regular schedule of uploading every 2 weeks.

I don't have a clear date on when this story will be back up running.

But I will let you know when it is back.

For now, have a nice day/ night.

See you soon! ^^
