"Be my girlfriend!"

A four-year-old Sasuke asked or rather yelled. Naruto frowned at him whilst Sakura giggled lightly.

"Hey, that's my sister!"

"Cute."

"I'm not cute!" Ignoring Naruto's remarks as he whined and complained about how gross it was that his friend had a crush on his sister, his twin sister, the Uchiha glared at Sakura.

"I'm being serious."

Sakura gave him a look and sighed.

"Well, first of all, you could maybe ask rather than state it."

"Like will you be my girlfriend? That's what a gentleman would say."

Sasuke stares in awe taking in her words and nods.

"Okay then, will you be my girlfriend?"

"As adorable as this is I'll have to say no."

"What? Why?"

"You are too young-"

"By four months." Sasuke pointed out frowning.

"We're still the same age."

Sakura ignored him and continued.

"And WE are too young to be in a relationship. Maybe try asking me when we're older."

Sasuke grumbled and pouted but nodded promising he would ask when they were bigger.

"When I said to ask when we're a bit older I didn't mean three years."

Once again little Sasuke was confessing only this time they were seven.

"But it's been three years now."

"Yes, we're still kids. Far too young to be thinking about marriage." Yes, this is what Sakura had thought would happen should she and Sasuke enter a relationship.

She gave him a soft smile.

"Besides there are plenty of other girls out there. Wouldn't you want to date the right person?"

"But you are that person, I'm not going to date a bunch of girls I'm not interested in." He huffed angrily at the thought.

"You don't know that."

"I DO TOO!"

She laughed and ruffled his hair. Unfortunately for him, she was a rather tall girl.

"Okay, then how about this. Ask me again in twenty years-"

"Twenty?! But that's ages away!"

"I wasn't done talking. Ask me then and I'll say yes okay."

"Promise?" He held out his pinkie finger for her to take.

"Promise," Sasuke smiled feeling satisfied.

"Oh, and you have to get taller than me."

She laughed as his face completely fell.

"Hey, that's sexist!"

Now that was taken care of Sasuke can find someone else and forget about his crush on her.

Or maybe not. When Sakura told Sasuke to wait for twenty years. She didn't actually expect him to or have her cornered against the wall with one of his arms trapping her.

It also didn't help now that he was incredibly attractive and unfortunately taller.

He smirked down at her.

"Will you date me now Haruno?"

Fuck

Say yes Sakura, you know you want to.
