3. Patronizing

Three hours sleep in his consultation room. Going home to a flooded apartment. Two hours on the phone with an insurance agent. Another hour stuck in an elevator. Four sets of scrubs in half a shift. The day was already in the toilet before Shang Li was groped by a patient.

'If I was a woman, it'd be an issue.' Shang was grumbling about the incident as he ate his lunch.

'It is an issue,' says Tasunka, the Chair of Oncology. 'Report it.'

'And be that guy?' asks Shang.

'The guy who doesn't stand for sexual harassment?' Tasunka grins. 'Yes, be that guy.'
