Shang's never paid attention to interior design. He's a simple man who likes to keep things simple, but as he's sipping coffee and making toast in Mulan's kitchen, he decides he really likes the pale blueish-greenish colour of her walls and the acacia hardwood flooring. He likes the white and beige furniture that makes the house light and breezy. He likes the bespoke brass light fittings. Most of all, though he can't explain why, he likes the deep burgundy soft furnishings and curtains.

Shang won't admit it to himself, but he knows it wouldn't be hard to live with Mulan Hua. It wouldn't be hard to love her.
