'I heard you're on call for Emergency tonight,' says Mulan. She's leaning against the doorway to Shang's consultation room. She's already changed into her jeans and sweater.

'Yeah,' he says, walking over to wrap his arms around her and slide his hands into her back pockets. The way she slowly swirls her hips against him makes Shang wish their plans hadn't been ruined. 'Park has a family crisis and Matthews is stuck in Fresno.'

'There goes dinner again,' Mulan sighs. 'Try to get some real sleep after your shift, yeah?'

'Real sleep,' Shang nods. His eyes are locked onto Mulan's mouth. He doesn't care one lick about sleep, not when there's an amazing woman in his arms that he won't get to hold again for at least seven hours.
