It's almost six weeks after Mulan asks Shang to dinner that they find themselves in her kitchen. They're on the back of double shifts on double shifts and neither of them have slept in a bed for at least a week.

Shang's got some lobster tails in the oven as Mulan's pouring them each a glass of wine. He tells her he's made them a playlist after a few sips and a few stray kisses. It's called "Mix Tape 1" and he's shared it with her.

He has a thing for 80s soft rock. It's okay, Mulan thinks, because she's got a thing for him.
