The moment Mulan steps out of her bedroom, in that dress with smoky eyes and plum red lips, Shang's a nervous wreck. She is gorgeous and perfect and he's not even going to make an excuse for crying.

He holds her as she's kicking off her house slippers and sliding on her sparkly pumps. When she leans forward, Shang gets a nose full of her perfume and he fights the urge to kiss her until she's breathless. If he does, he'll wreck her make-up. If he does, they're definitely not going to make it to the gala.

Mulan fusses with his bowtie and smooths over his shoulders, hooking her fingers behind his neck as she leans into him. There's a secret in her smile and Shang's certain he's going to need bypass surgery if she keeps looking at him like that.
