62. Retreat

'What the hell are you doing?' screams Poseidon Chien.

He's looking at Mulan standing in ICU without shoes, and she's just dodged a bullet by no more than a few inches.

'I need to get to Emergency.'

She doesn't stay still long, running to the internal ward doors and unlocking them manually. Once she's in the corridor, she yells at Poseidon to lock the doors again.

Mulan doesn't think about the way he looks at her. She runs for the fire exit and down to Emergency.

Another shot echoes from the ED. The old fire door entrance is now the back wall of a PPE store.

Mulan hopes no one's locked the store from the outside.
